Strelok looks less worn down, or younger I guess, then he did in the original game. Which is definitely not the case for those of us, who played this series since Shadow of Chernobyl :D.
Its sad we never get to meet Major Degtaryev in the sequel. Considering both him and Strelok have the same conclusion after going to the center of the Zone.
I would adapt Strelok nickname for English. Something like Sharpshooter or Marksman. Marksman sounds better though. Because Shram(Scar) was adopted in English but Strelok didn't.

Pretty much ya, if we go by timeline wise of the events that happen in the games then clear skys would be the beginning for call of chernobyl after that it would be call of pripyat and then comes stalker 2
people praise this game because there is no DEI/woke agenda in the game, and willing to even ignore the buggy mess that sometimes break the game, saying "oh, it's just like the anomalies, nothing wrong here".
@@freakingdoodle4279 The console limitations placed on a pc game, yellow ladders and simliar, bullet sponge enemies, lack of A-life, loot whack a crates, english voices instead of ukrainian/russian, can't remap keys, these are just a few off the top of my head. Feels like a dumbed down stalker clone made by another studio to be accessible to the mainstream audience. I realize this sounds like the old elitist gatekeeper mentality but its what I think.

The enemies have usually always been bullet sponges, lack of life seems per usual for the zone it ain't going to be teeming with life since it's a shithole, whack a crate loot has always been a thing, and you can switch between English or Russian in the settings even at the start of the game it asks wether you want English or Russian. I do say the characters should be more apathetic or more of an ass to Skif it does get better down the line when you meet noontide who make it more than clear they don't like you and couldn't care less about you.

I think you misunderstood what I meant when I typed A-life, it would be easier if you google it rather than I try to give a poor explanation but basically its the AI routines that the previous titles ran that gave the game its unique life. This is missing at the moment and replaced with a "spawn in system". The loot crate have never been a thing, yes there was unmarked crates scattered around the place that you could bust and there might be something in them but there were not any marked with giant ammo or health symbols which is the bit which irks me.
