Not just try it, record it and watch themselves back. I've always been good at picking up choreography but my execution is appalling, really makes you re-evaluate when you see yourself looking like a dying chicken.
They be so out of breath. I am also an ex ballerina and I’m looking at the technique in this and I’m amazed I don’t know if I’d still be able to make those movements so clean she’s absolutely stunning.
stunning! I'm a ballerina under 12 yrs and this is just about my level, and its quite difficult to do this. I now can, but it is harder than it looks. You did this so terrifically, I loved it
@steamingtea951it’s not the hardest thing but it is impressive that she can do so many jumps and maintain a good height on them.. it takes a lot of strength to continue to do those without getting tired and if your not getting tired from them then your not jumping high enough:) it’s impressive that she makes it look so effortless im sure a lot of people can do it but make it look that effortless?
It’s not too hard, but I mean, people that haven’t done dance would find it surprisingly difficult. It requires a lot of strength. Once you have done it for a while, it’s not that hard, but it’s impressive that she can do it with what looks like ease
I wonder if it has something to do with the floor? I've seen ballerinas dance in socks in other studios, but I don't think I've ever seen them do it on wood floors, even professionals. I've heard a story about one teacher who put a little bit of sand in his paint when he painted the floor so that dancers wouldn't slip, but they probably couldn't dance in socks there because it wore through leather shoes very quickly.
@@jocelyn2740 I'm not en pointe yet 💀💀💀 but like... petite allegro you have many small jumps and to me it takes more stamina and endurance where adagio is just strength to slowwwwly move and hold your body in a controlled way and flexibility to get there in the first place. With jumps you're thinking about posture on top of ballone and creating the illusion and pushing away from the floor and pointing your toes, landing plie and then doing that over and over and over really quickly and blah blah blah I just find it easier to breathe with adagio because I'm outta shape as hell and would faint after the huffing and puffing 😭💀
Lots of people are the opposite (like my teacher last week who made it easy on purpose because he explicitly said he hates it) where they love lots of little jumps like this but don't think they have the the best ability or attention span to slooooooooooowly move and extend and place their limbs in a controlled manner while breathing in and out of it and vice versa ❤️
Question for the ballerinas: that tap-tap flicker of their feet when they are jumping up....are they just flicking? Or is it really what it looks like to me? - one foot behind the other at super sonic speed? 0:13-0:15 (She does it so fast they might be the wrong timestamp :(
It heard non dancers say 'omg that's just hopping' well yeah technically it is but I would like to see you 'just hop' with that amount of strength, control and poise!
Isometric exercise and also lots of cardio! You can burn up to 500 calories in one ballet class, so having rehearsals and classes back to back, all day long, results in more cardio then most would expect
Beautiful dancing. Might I make the polite suggestion that it is really difficult to see the lines of your arms when you have the hoodie on. Otherwise, this was a beautiful video!
Why was this filmed from the back? Also, why is she not wearing dance shoes? You get much better traction that socks that can be quite slippery when pushing to move in various direction.
She needs to sink more into her demi plié’s. She doesn’t use the floor to get the push she needs to elevate in her glissades to give the impression of lightness as she moves across the floor, which I not seeing. One comment says she has well developed quads. Perhaps she’s using her leg muscles incorrectly. Even though she points her feet well, there’s not the power going through them to feel that they’re strong enough. She must beat with her inner thighs and not her quads. Oh, the beats should open to the side, and hers are beating as though she’s swimming. All of these issues stem from her over developed quads. She needs to work on developing her inner thighs.
I am an ex ballerina so just me looking at I know that requires alot of strength alot of people may not agree but they should try it themselves
Absolutely correct
I'm a ex gymnast and I'm just starting ballet and it's really hard
THANK YOU I'm a ballerina but my siblings compare it to hokey

So much respect for these girls you can see the way all the hard work has moulded thier bodies mosty legs
Oh my God, those QUADRICEPS!!
I’d be winded. Lol 😂 amazing job. I’ve never seen an informal ballet class tho. Mine were strict about attire.
stunning! I'm a ballerina under 12 yrs and this is just about my level, and its quite difficult to do this. I now can, but it is harder than it looks. You did this so terrifically, I loved it

This is beautiful ,what a talent. Bravo. Greetings from Belgium 🇧🇪
How do you do that in socks without slipping? I'd fall and break my neck!

I love this combo so much! It is absolutely adorable 😻
Simply stunning!
This is gorgeous!!!! 😍😍😍 I'm one of those weirdos who loves adagio but hates petite allegro but this might have just changed my mind! 😍❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hate hate petite allegro, I will take adagio any day 😂
but she did a wonderful job!
@@J_Elizabeth2 UgH YES ❤️
Really? Adagio is way too hard to balance especially in pointe shoes

Muscle tone! I am seeing discipline. Love to see it, I bet there is some strong personal character there too.
So I saw. I thought, maybe I can manage. I tried it!!😮 you. The speed, agility and strength 😅😅 . Props!! This was a great audition!
So exquisitely graceful!
You did this well, a lot to remember here and you performed with equal energy on both sides.
She has incredible athletic legs.
Wonderful control and musicality! 🤩
Sublime !
I was just looking at the mirror to find the invincible, immortal cameraman.
Literally so hard to do you go girl!😮❤
Wow, the twins were totally in sync.
😂
It takes strength to dance with that kind of control and lightness.
Dang I felt tired and how difficult it was just watching! Nicely done though. It was like you were just about hovering above the floor!
That was amazing. 😍
Makes that look soooo easy.
wow, these two girls are 100% synchron

The jete ordinaire battus and assemble battus? Yes, she is meant to do the beats (it wasn't just an accident!)
Yea basically while you’re in the air you switch your leg in front to the back and to the front again
It is called "Entrechat". In this case "Entrechat quatre"....you can search in the net more about it now.
its a beat, so you jump up, beat the front foot to the back quickly and bring it back to the front before you land 😁
It's really hard and I can't do it 🤧❤️
lovely dancer
good work! just try to close to fifth before the glissade after the jete battu.really lovely though :)
Bravo, bravisimo 👍
*BEAUTIFUL!!* _clapping_ *BELLISIMA!!* 💋
okay so my current goal in life is to learn that sequence (might take a while :p)
Very impressive! If it's an audition, wouldn't she face the people instead of the mirror, or is that a dance thing?
Beautiful ❤
When you wake up in the morning late and you gott get the coffee on before you use the washroom
that's amazing
Great dancing! Any updates on the progression? :)
My legs would have jellified by the end of this exercise!
It heard non dancers say 'omg that's just hopping' well yeah technically it is but I would like to see you 'just hop' with that amount of strength, control and poise!
The amount of one legged jump squats and regular jump squats they do... How are their legs not massive
Isometric exercise and also lots of cardio! You can burn up to 500 calories in one ballet class, so having rehearsals and classes back to back, all day long, results in more cardio then most would expect
her legs are massive though. Very muscular
I just did the same thing today I can admit alot of strength just to get up there

I can pretty much do that. Of course I'd probably rupture my Achilles tendon and tear my ACL. But the fact remains, I can do that.
May I know what grade is this
Gotta be honest ,the muscles on those legs are very pleasing to the eye,in a not perverted way ,ok maybe some but not all,
I could do that if I had the moon’s gravity
