Manchester United's best era was when they had Cristiano Ronaldo and Alex Ferguson. It is a story that is all too familiar in the sports world. A great leader, whether on or off the field, leaves a team after a sustained period of dominance. When they go, fans, pundits, and people within the organization immediately start looking for their successor in hopes to continue the winning ways. More often than not, however, it’s exceedingly difficult to immediately replace a talismanic player or coach. For Manchester United, this was the case when Sir Alex Ferguson left the club for retirement in 2013. In his 26-year tenure at Manchester United, Ferguson led the Red Devils to 38 trophies, including 13 Premier League titles and two UEFA Champions League triumphs. Since then, the club has won just five major honors, none coming from the EPL or Champions League.

Rashford is one of my favourite players (i am not a United fan btw). It is sad to see him struggling this much. He has all the tools in the world to be one of the best players of all time: speed, acceleration, shooting, dribbling, vision, passing but his on-pitch attitude stinks. I think he needs a new challenge.
Does anyone actually flourish at United these days? He just needs to move on and get a fresh start. The club is poison, even Bruno can’t seem to escape it anymore.
I'm one of his biggest supporters, i mean, i love him very much, but not because i support him, means I'm being partial.. There are a lot of factors why he hasn't gone on to become one of the best of his generation even though he has the potential to, and one of the main factor is the for which he plays.. Cr7 had to eventually depart because of the toxicity, it's not an environment to help anyone to flourish.. That season when he had a poor one, it wasn't just him, even Bruno the club has affected massively.. The Bruno we have been witnessing for the past 2-3 years isn't the Bruno that came here.. If these players were at a well structured and organized club, they would only be progressing.. Look at Martial, he is well gifted, and even him ended up failing at this club.. That's why i would address Sir Alex as a genius, because he was able to overcome the odds, while every other manager after him has failed to so far.. Rashy suffered a back injury and was still forced to play.. There are so many factors to consider, so i can't just bash and blame him for everything as if it's all his fault.. It wasn't his fault for the massive wages.. Look at Maguire, it wasn't his fault he got bought for £80 mil, it wasn't Anthony's fault either to be bought for 90.. This club hasn't had an identity since Fergie.. So how can a player really lives up to his full potential if they are unsettled? If there was a system, each player would have a better understanding of their role.. Look at the second half against Brentford, we saw a style of play, and we also saw a more confident Rashy, not only Rashy, but even Bruno looked a lot better, just look at that pass for the second goal? Without a system, there will always be inconsistency, which means that players will underperform, but place them in a team that has an identity and you will see the difference.. But i understand that Rashy needs to get his discipline back.. Cr7 was able to still standout in toxicity, because he is Cr7, and his mentally is superior to any challenge there is.. Ten Hag should work on the second half performance against Brentford, and let that be our identity, and allow the players to finally settle down and develop stability which will automatically lead to growth, instead of, chopping and changing, and this is the reason why we can't find any consistency..
He hasnt gone on to become one of the greatest because he doesn't work for it. I've never seen a player who fights lesser for the football in a game than him. Rarely presses. Makes horrible simple passes which more often than not get intercepted. Doesn't cross. Consistently loses the ball after stopping dead in the middle of an attack instead of taking on his man. Poor body language. And the worst part he's the highesr paid player and simply doesn't put in effort.
There’s definitely a good or even great player there but definitely not world class. I think he’s been rotting skill wise for a while but the salary United gave him definitely hastened it. He plays for a salary now rather than for the badge. His situation is legit like Luke Shaw a few years back. Shaw was playing badly before we got Telles and then he played well for a while. When he got his starting place back and sold Telles, his form dipped until we bought Malacia. Likewise Rashford’s been overhyped for a while. He’s never been truly bad until last season though. I think it’s got to do with the fact that he’s got no challengers for that left wing spot. Garnacho’s been made to play right because Anthony was so poor. However with Diallo kicking on, Garnacho is being shifted to the left. If Rashford doesn’t kick on this season with the increased level of competition at his heels I think it would be time to let him go. I have a feeling that he will rise to the challenge though. Say what you want about EtH time at United but he’s been good at resurrecting players’ careers. Maguire is a good example, but EtH also was the one who bought Malacia which lot Shaw’s butt on fire. He made AWB challenge and displace Dalot for the right back squad. Yes AWB was sold eventually, but he was definitely at his best under EtH. Heck even Anthony’s been decent in the few games he’s been allowed on as of late.
Rashford is a confidence player. When his confidence is up and team is doing well then you get that generational English talent But unfortunately he isn’t talented enough or bothered to getting united out of this mess
Rashford is not that good. He's a mid table quality winger who gets the occasional purple patch that seemingly always happens when they talk about selling him. Tbh Man Utd is the perfect team for him rn

Everyone's speculating on this and that, but the truth is that he doesn't care enough anymore. He's done great things outside of football, but he isn't putting in the effort inside of it. He has the ability to become a world class player, as we've seen in 2 seperate seasons, but that's the problem, 2 out of 8 or 9 seasons have been excellent, the rest have been way below par. That's not a 300k a week player
Rashford is a good player, the problem is that he is a good player in a good team, it’s not a coincidence that he has done double figures for both goals and assists every time United have sort of had their act together and made top 4.
Bro is lingard 2.0 man had 1 world class season and everyone thinks hes world class but he’s honestly not hes a decent player and he needs to be benched so garnacho can develop
Probably just depressed because being a superstar footballer in England would actually kind of suck. But if ever there would be a shot in the arm, it would be barreling down the wing on a Flick coached Barcelona. Should be interesting.
If the likes of Ronaldo and Rooney performed like him back then, Sir Alex would've sell them away without a second thought. He would be in his prime or end of his prime by now (depends on how long it last) if he is really that good instead of still being known as some so called young prospect that hasn't hit his potential.
Marcus Rashford has been consistently creating trolls for the past 3-4 years except for a 4-5 month period, yet he doesn't get the recognition of a Maguire or even Antony(who must have played 20 games for United). I can understand about Maguire leading the troll charts 2 years back when he was a constant threat to de Gea. But I don't understand how Antony's 1 skill makes him the troll master when Rashford has been making trolls for such a long time. This is I think what is called Brazilian bias.

When his confidence is up and team is doing well then you get that generational English talent
But unfortunately he isn’t talented enough or bothered to getting united out of this mess
He’s definitely talented enough but Rashford alone cannot save Man Utd
Need Arteta to perform another miracle
You are being too harsh on him. Give this KID a chance to prove it
27 years old by the way.
Rashford is not that good. He's a mid table quality winger who gets the occasional purple patch that seemingly always happens when they talk about selling him.
Tbh Man Utd is the perfect team for him rn
Lmfao shut up 😭😭 he’s a top talent who’s been playing in an awful team
Yo raymar can you do a video about the 3 midfielders debate: gerrard lampard scholes ?
No. Now we can move on to more important players. He’s a bang average player and if he played for any other team no one would even mention him.
Rashford is one of the most frustrating players oat at his very best he is unplayable and easily one of the very best in the world but for some reason can never consistently keep his form/confidence
Dude went downhill after his injury during lockdown. Didn’t help that he was given ridiculous contracts and surrounded by teammates like pogba and lingard
After lockdown he had a 40 g/a season…
Not to mention overfocussing on race baiting instead of his actual career.
He should join FcBarcelona because Barca need a LW but the problem is his price tag and he does not press
No thank you.
LOL there are plenty of youth team players at la masia that are better than him.
Wouldn't even get into a Ferguson side!
Wonder if Rashford's PR team gets in contact with you after this video
you think people that high up have attention for random football opinion videos???
I honestly don't get why he keeps getting played but man's is making a comeback from nowhere 😅
What a player Rashford
Rashford is what you get when you have a wonderkid with a pa of 190 but put him in a mentoring group with Lingard and Martial...
He had mentoring from Zlatan and Ronaldo. Now Van Nistelroy. If these guys can't improve his mojo then he needs to speak to Rooney to see see how he managed to keep it up 😂
@@jaja5870
Zlatan yes, unfortunately he didn't seem to pick up his attitude and mentality. But Ronaldo came quite late. He also said that the players didn't want to listen to him, so gotta wonder who those players were... Same with Ruud. Too late to make a difference for Rashy unfortunately.
@@SomethingLegit1 Late Ronaldo is definitely not someone you want as a mentor.
@@Drigallski Ronaldo before his daughter passed would still be a good mentor. That was the end for him - mentally he's regressed so hard since that moment
@@nathanhosea489 I'd say Ronaldo has been on a downward spiral ever since he left Madrid
He gave EA the idea of The Journey so he’s good with me 👍
The media made him into some sort of hero
0:26 holy fuck we as United fans have been through some tough times. Jesus you can't say United fans aint loyal after watching this team. As for rashford the fans have placed him on fraud watch every touch every mistake is on him
I don't think Rashford is a bad player and to be honest, I never liked the guy at all. The only thing bad about Rashford is refusing to exit man united when he had the chances. Even Ronaldo left. No one can survive man united
He isnt a bad player, I think he is decent.
Excellent video as always Raymar. It’s quite sad as I grew up watching Marcus Rashford play alongside Martial and Lingard. Their careers all seemed poised for something great but it feels like they’ve all gone down the same path.
I am man united fan and I don't hate him or love I just feel he is not good enough thats it and guys rashford has a big pr team they might come for this channel
Young Jessoe Lingaard will be his successor.
Bring back the music!
7:53 foden jump scare 😂😂😂
Everyone's speculating on this and that, but the truth is that he doesn't care enough anymore. He's done great things outside of football, but he isn't putting in the effort inside of it. He has the ability to become a world class player, as we've seen in 2 seperate seasons, but that's the problem, 2 out of 8 or 9 seasons have been excellent, the rest have been way below par. That's not a 300k a week player
The issues are more ten hag recently than Rashford lol
i love rashford
They said Marcus Rashford would join Barcelona… BARCELONA 💀💀💀
He destroyed Barcelona in camp nou
He destroyed Barca in 2022/23 season in Europa league
Rashford is a good player, the problem is that he is a good player in a good team, it’s not a coincidence that he has done double figures for both goals and assists every time United have sort of had their act together and made top 4.
Bro is lingard 2.0 man had 1 world class season and everyone thinks hes world class but he’s honestly not hes a decent player and he needs to be benched so garnacho can develop
One world class season 😂😂😂 he’s had multiple
I saw Marcus I clicked!
Simple truth is Rashford is not elite.
He would not fit into Sir. Alex Ferguson's starting eleven.
He is okay as a squad player.
It was the league cup in 16/17 not the fa cup
7 goals and 2 assists right after a 17 goal 5 assists season is crazy, he's just playing for the paycheck
Probably just depressed because being a superstar footballer in England would actually kind of suck. But if ever there would be a shot in the arm, it would be barreling down the wing on a Flick coached Barcelona. Should be interesting.
nice thumbnail
Only thing consistent about rashford is his inconsistency, frustrating knowing he has the ability to be world class but attitude is never there
In Barcelona he will unlock his true Potential
New manager let’s go marcus lad
If the likes of Ronaldo and Rooney performed like him back then, Sir Alex would've sell them away without a second thought.
He would be in his prime or end of his prime by now (depends on how long it last) if he is really that good instead of still being known as some so called young prospect that hasn't hit his potential.
Who are these mythical people who consider Rashford a wonderkid? We've had 3 generations of wonderkids since he was a wonderkid
He's talented. He could or should be doing better. He's inconsistent. If they haven't already they should get him a sport psychologist
His progress halted 3 or 4 years ago 2nd coming of Lingardinho
Bros gonna be a wonderkid till he's 35
Marcus Rashford has been consistently creating trolls for the past 3-4 years except for a 4-5 month period, yet he doesn't get the recognition of a Maguire or even Antony(who must have played 20 games for United). I can understand about Maguire leading the troll charts 2 years back when he was a constant threat to de Gea. But I don't understand how Antony's 1 skill makes him the troll master when Rashford has been making trolls for such a long time. This is I think what is called Brazilian bias.
He's just getting his pay day, plays very well, he just waits. When he gets it he just returns to playing like he doesn't care and inconsistent 🤷🏾♂️.
Your making these videos and you don’t even watch the games mate he’s been one of our best players this season
Y’all fucking suck
Exactly
I see new Raymar video - I hit play...👍 As for Rashford? Seems as he's set for life, apparently bored of the physical commitments of football and knows he can have a great life / survive just fine without it... a shame.
Marcus Rashford will score many goals under Amorim, pin this comment!!!
This one hurt cuz I really did like him but now learning about his lack of dedication im out ✌🏼
The longest wonder kid holder of all times.
Send him back to development, simple as that
Its a shame that a player like rashford broke a record held by a legend like george best
I want to like Rashford, but everything he's done lately just makes me hate him now
Please make a video of ( Dida 6th video)🎉🎉🎉
