Great video again Stephen, the sea is very angry you wouldn't stand a chance if you were unfortunate enough to be swept into it, it's made me shiver just looking at it, get back home and get something warm inside you.👍
I remember after one such storm, the sea dragged a lot of sand out exposing the legs of the ice cream kiosk, and revealing money. Old large pennies, and 2p bits which were similar in size, l even saw just showing a 50 pence piece with the hands design......Worth between £300-£900 today!👍 Innocent fun, and happy days, gone but shall never be forgotten.
Hey Stephen, brilliant video,we love seeing the sea and waves coming over, lovely sky too, I remember in October 1981,a very rough week, rounding woollies corner the wind nearly blew the pushchair out of my hand, was so rough,so we went in the tower on the roughest day, watching through the windows, the waves were amazing, folk were getting drenched walking on the prom, they were so high. We did laugh at them.thanks again Brill video, memories flooded back to then. take care
Wild world. This is something that has always fascinated me when staying in seaside resorts, the wind cutting through you, and the waves up in the air.
Nice video Stephen although rough and windy. That sea certainly was angry and the way that was jumping up over the prom it could have so easily caught you out for a real soaking.
Great wave footage Stephen, The Irish sea in stormy weather is some of my favourite to watch. Really like your wooly hat, looms nice and cosy. Happy new year
Its worth subscribing just to see your hat ha ha. I love seeing the waves & people who are saying it looks cold & rough sea. Its bloody winter!. Thats what happens & its good that you show the 'wild side' of Blackpool, hence your channel name. I am off to find a hat like yours ha ha. Great original entertaining channel. Thankyou
I love the sea even when it's angry 🌊 💙 one things for sure you don't need a shower just stand there long enough with your shower gel problem solved 😀 😄 😅😂🤣
Looks amazing out there. Keep up the good work and keep your sense of humour ;) God knows we need all the fun we can get when there are so many miserable people and so much miserable weather 😁
Meant to mention it earlier but think you really suit having a beard. The weather here has been rather nasty, however, those waves have a lot of force. Very different to yesterday's sea. Nice to see a hint of blue sky. Haven't seen any of that for the past few days here.
Would that be the Isle of Man Steam Packet Ferry, from Fleetwood, Stephen? I've been on that, a ship called King Orry. They had an office in the street side of the Metropole Hotel, where the trams used to share the road with other traffic. Not yesterday, mind you!
Forgot to say Steve you have some great light for photography there and love your sunset & stormy skies vids, here's a suggestion for you I live in Lowestoft most easterly point t of UK so first to see the sun would it not be great if you can film the sunrise here in Lowestoft then back to blackpool for the same sun going down now that would be epic!! and not done before
Absolutely amazing Stephan! and we are in for A rough ride tomorrow night mate, strongest winds of the winter so far in Blackpool, upto 70mph! my bins were flying around today in 45mph!
Hi Stephen thank you for another great video as always omg the wind is so bad mind you don't get blown away wow look how mad the sea is love the mirror ball so pretty have a great evening xx
the weather has had to many beans and sprouts that why its so windy . plus i have noticed where is Stevens glasses he normal wares glasses in his vlogs
I thought I'd take m y glasses off as they'd have just got all wet and I wouldn't be able to see. My eyesight is only slightly off, so I can see ok without them.
Thanks Steven for your videos I’m going to Blackpool on June 12th for a week and was wondering a few things. I know the illuminations won’t be on but will the tower etc be lit up at night. Also could you do a video please from outside the happy return hotel please I hear that’s 5 minutes from everywhere. Also we are planning on getting the big six ticket is it worth it? Is Madam Tussaud the dungeon etc as good as the London ones thanks and if you are in Blackpool when I’m there I will say hi thanks
@@AWalkontheWildSideBlackpool ok that’s cool. Look forward to more videos especially the good places to eat etc watched the Pablo one before that’s on my list
Pity tidal or wind power couldnt be used at Blackpool as plenty of both and profits go to local food banks or help with fuel poverty etc local crowdfunding could possibly help achieve this.
Well it wouldn’t be winter in Blackpool without the angry high tides and gale force winds. I doubt anyone would stand much of a chance if they had the misfortune of being swept out to sea in these conditions. Stay safe 👍
hi, steve I worry that when I walk round the solarise those turbines are going to fly off the way the wind spins them there bloody scary when you walk past hearing that whipping sound yeh they spin at some speed when the wind gets going. wowwww...
I remember years ago getting stuck in the toilets that used to be down on the prom when the sea started comming in 😂
Thanks Stephen i was once in Blackpool and seen the water on the tramlines that was before the new sea wall was built i hope you are well

Wow Stephen, would love to stand there and watch those waves... at a safe distance of course. Thanks for all your great videos
Most people would need a sick bag if they were going to the isle of man on days like this.
I will be back in Blackpool in the summer ❤
Hello Stephen and yes another rough and windy day

Hello Mr Blackpool hope you are good mate
Good to see u looking well and that u weren’t blown away 🌊. Take care and stay safe 😊
Thanks Tanya.
That building is now owned by the council, you’d pay like £4 for a sandwich when before it was £1.50
Yeah it's not cheap in there. Our astro society wanted to do an event there, but the money they wanted was astronomical!
It doesn't matter how inclement the weather, if you like Blackpool (you'll always like Blackpool). 🙄
True!
Would that be the Isle of Man Steam Packet Ferry, from Fleetwood, Stephen? I've been on that, a ship called King Orry. They had an office in the street side of the Metropole Hotel, where the trams used to share the road with other traffic. Not yesterday, mind you!

I absolutely love that video! You showed beauty of the stormed sea 💙 Thank you for sharing this with us
The stormy seas are amazing to watch. Fierce, uncontrollable. You just hope you live far enough away, to not be affected.
I am a few miles inland. It must be a bit scary living on the prom when it's like this.
Nothing like a rough sea In Blackpool mate 👍 👌 😀
Wow love watching the waves and listening to the sea 🌊 ty Stephen Great video 😊x
Glad you enjoyed it Julie x
@Duncan Letts haha Duncan I can see you on a surf board with the beach boys tune playing 🤣🤣😁
