Glad you liked the video Suzi and Travis. They are one of my favorite newer groups. I say newer because I go back to the days of Deep Purple, Led Zepplin, etc. Their musicianship is tops. The first time Band Maid was suggested to me, and I saw their outfits before the video my thoughts were (this is going to be some pop group). Wrong!! Pleasantly surprised.
The whole band is great, but I am personally drawn to watching Misa. I love her bass playing, and her style is so darn cool. And like Suzi I love that outfit. So cool! And she usually plays barefoot! Because of the way it looks she has been nicknamed the barefoot assassin.

Tho you can't beat the intimate atmosphere of a small venue the more i see the awesome Yokohama show i know B-M deserve to playing in arenas every time :)
The sound is a lot better than the small clubs that they used to play in and at least everyone at Yokohama gets a good view but you do feel a sense of loss knowing that they will probably never play a small club ever again. It's a bit like your child becoming an adult you still love them ofcourse but the child is gone forever and I am left feeling like Puff the magic dragon .
You're right Stephen. Success brings bigger stages & you're further removed from the band. I know why it has to happen but how is Kanami s'posed to lean over the barrier to give me a pick & sign my t-shirt when you're already 30ft away from the stage even at the front?

Having followd Band Maid nearly from the start of their career, watching this performance actually makes me well up. They have come so far as a band and never lost their sense of fun on stage. Not one member dominating with their ego but working together to make an entertaining show to see and obviously, listen to.

These ladies are so fucking cool dude, I love them like I've never loved any other band. They're just a squad of goofballs who are talented as hell and having the time of their life. You really can't ask for anything more than that.

I think this group is currently the best rock group. The bass and lead guitar are the best, as you can tell right away. Please also notice the greatness of the drums. Please also notice the wonderful harmony between the main vocalist and side guitarist. What's most amazing is that the main guitarist has composed over 130 songs, and the side guitarists have written most of the lyrics. There is no bad work among them. BAND-MAID has a wide variety of songs that you can really enjoy.

The moral of the story, "Don't piss Saiki off!" Saiki wrote the lyrics for this song about her friends husband cheating on her during the pandemic. Epic back and forth from MISA and Mincho! Some have called it a musical argument as two people in a heated argument, it ramps up more and more till they are both yelling incoherently at each other. In this case though, we get the benefit of the musical excellence!
