there's no better way to get better than looking back at past mistakes and learn, but I agree doesn't feel so good looking at how you lose, keep the good content Mangs
So Kanbei getting atleast an extra 2k income by using his powerful units and that cancelling out his 20% extra cost is another thing I learnt from this video. Already learning a lot from you which will help improve my high funds gameplay, which is the game mode I'm most scared of.
Also, as player 2 and starting with an extra infantry, Mangs could have been able to secure an income advantage, even if he wasn't playing an aggressive CO like Kanbei.
You mentioned that you used move planer to plan out your moves. I didn't manage to really get any value out of that tool, so maybe you could show how to utilize the move planner correctly
cheesus crust this blight was savage, also his opening was pretty slow from what you explained, i don't play high funds but I can imagine being faster in captures/preventing captures is major here.
18:40 I disagree with the neotank. If he builds a medium tank (or neotank/mega tank), you should build a bomber. The bomber is not only cheaper than the neotank, but faster, has fewer weaknesses, and counters them MUCH harder. 26:00 Same thing here. This map is way too open for mega tanks to be particularly useful. Should've been two bombers. All in all, a good showcase of countering Kanbei in HF, although it could've used far more bombers :)
its really a coinflip on what would be better yes a bomber would hard counter but a AA gun being produced and and meerly existing in the backlines would zone it out and that defense would make a difficult choice on what to throw it on and it wouldnt be a killshot it would have to be from a city and the enemy unit not it a favorable terrain HOWEVER a mega tank can be rolled up to the frontlines and become a part of the defense/attack and not worry so much like a bomber who has to dance back in forth waiting for a opening for a trade or free hit
Thanks for the feedback. Although problem I see with bombers is Kanbei just builds fighter and then has air supremacy, heck even an AA would work for him I think... and it's not like I could exchange a bomber for a Md tank. Neo just counters the Md and gives me ground supremacy with no drawbacks :)
@@atruebossawbw If Kanbei builds fighters, you just build a bunch of AA. His fighters are so expensive that it's not worth it for him to attack bombers outright. Even worse for him, despite the extra defense, his fighters STILL are a guaranteed two shot from AA no matter what CO (assuming one COM tower). What the above means is you can put bombers on the front line (minding only his AA/missiles), and laugh if he tries to actually take them out. It will not be a favorable trade. Obviously you can't build ONLY bombers and AA, since you need to be able to kill the enemy AA, but it's a very nasty triangle for Kanbei to deal with.
Nice replay! I enjoyed it and the insight into high funds. I must say though, I don't really think this was a Kindle beats Kanbei video... It was just that you played significantly better (which is expected due to your assumed HF experience). By the first Urban Blight you'd already got a strong lead over Mangs, and used very, very little of Kindle's D2D which is close to bland 90% of the time. With a different CO who has a stronger, less situational D2D you'd have been even further ahead. Forgive me if you mentioned this, but I think what really gives Kindle the edge over Kanbei (and any global damage CO for that matter) is the irrelevance of Kanbei's unit defence. All other COs struggle against Kanbei because he simply negates their firepower boosts, but with global damage you will always deal the same amount of damage! Conversely Grimm and Sturm are better against global damage as their lower defence means you're getting less bang for your buck and a firepower bonus would be more potent.
Awesome video, I really like your analysis. That said it felt just a bit too slow and I had to put the vid on x1.25 speed. Funnily enough, it was a lot smoother and your explanations were just as clear that way.
The moment I saw the synopsis screen the end, what stood out was the sole MD Tank built by mangs: a) Undestroyed! Technically a survivor 😁 b) Somehow lost more value than it cost to build in the first place, and this is a KANBEI MD Tank too 👀 Urban Blight, ladies and gentlemen
Hey, can you explain why Kanbei is drops a tier in Hi funds, and why he is countered by Colin ? I'd love to get your opinion about it ! Looking forward to your content, it's awesome getting vids on AW !
I am by no means an expert but I believe Colin is good against Kanbei because he can use overwhelming numbers against him. Kanbei will have stronger units but Colin can have so many that he can't clear them all, they could outflank and gang up on single targets, or provide enough fodder until Colin's OP power starts to make the funds gap unbeatable. For example, a Kanbei tank is very powerful but it cant break a line of infintry supported by an artillery or rocket or fight against 3 battlecopters. Colin can consistently put out 2 units to Kanbei's 1. Colin also gets access to powerful units like bombers and neotanks way before kanbei can, which can help neutralize the difference in power. These are just my thoughts, I'm sure I could be wrong and if anyone is more knowledgeable feel free to correct me.
Hey there, he's a lot easier to play against in HF because you will have more build options, so you can usually build units that "outtech" him for example building Md Tank against his Tanks, Bombers against his Mds, Megas against his Neos etc. Colin is even better because is even better at outbuilding him. Kanbei is gonna have an army of tanks against Colins Md Tanks and so Kanbei loses. I talk about the builds at around 15:16. Hope I helped :)
@@redfly8797 that’s a misunderstanding that Colin has more troop. Troop in a match is highly dépendant of the number of base (and airport) so the only way for Colin to have high number is by building more air unit which isn’t a bad idea since his b copter cost 7k2 vs standard AAir 8K. High number CO are the like of Sensei and hachi. However Colin has the benefict to get much higher tech unit and is the opposite of kanbei (enemy want to kinda mirror Colin unit, but Colin. Reduced price and gold rush allow him to outtech most of his opponent). But if by chance any player manage to consistently match Colin same unit type, Colin should lose but then again, spamming Md tank and better at a high rate, no one can do that beside Colin and hachi
he check out my map! the name of it is( for fun lol ) I haven't seen a holdout mach but that all changes today, the map should be perficalty balanced. can work in fog, regular and high funds!!
God doesn’t want anybody in hell because He loves us, but you must understand why we deserve hell and why those who refuse to live under His authority will go there. He gave us the law (Ten Commandments) not to make us righteous, but rather to show us our sin (Romans 3:20). We’re not sinners because we sin, but rather we sin because we’re sinners. Sin is the nature of our flesh that we are born with due to the sin of Adam in the garden. For someone to be justified before God they have to be sinless. We’ve all sinned (Romans 3:23), and the the law demands death for those who sin (Romans 6:23). God is righteous, so He must punish our sin, which is what He did through His Son Jesus Christ on the cross. Jesus is Holy and sinless, yet He received our sin when He died on the cross, so that we can be righteous before God (2 Corinthians 5:21). When He died on the cross, He said “It is finished” (John 19:30), which means He paid the full price for all of your sins (past, present, and future) to be forgiven. He was buried and rose again from the dead. God will forgive anybody who puts their full trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. We aren’t saved based on our good deeds, but only by the grace of God (Ephesians 2:8-9). His precious blood that He shed is the only reason why we can be forgiven of our sins (Hebrews 9:22). If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised Him from the dead, then you’ll be saved (Romans 10:9). You are born-again with the Spirit of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17), and are not only legally justified before God, but also are accredited His righteous (Romans 4:24). Believers live for Christ now, so get to know Him through His Word. I recommend reading the book of Romans and the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), and watching Pastor Joseph Prince’s online sermons!
Good video. But I think you overexplain a lot. Which gets a bit tedious as you want to see the fight and not have 5 minutes to explain every move. It's a bit unnecessary.
