@MatthewBrownUK - someone mentioned a video which shows the chap claiming it to be illegal - I did watch it. The maximum weight an EAPC can be no longer has a limit (I think he was reading some older legislation or something) - and with the throttle power, all of these bikes can be adjusted to restrict power or de-restrict for off road use, so a limit can be set easily enough (I’ve done it myself) - but yeah I do think they should have been shipped with a limit set, I think that’s all

A radiator cap normally (at least on a car) keeps the coolant under pressure which prevents it boiling at 100 degrees c. I suppose if it runs cooler than that all the time and you have no problems then fair play, but just thought I'd chime in.
Yeah it runs around 80c usually - I tried the cap on again and it just creates airlocks so something going on with the system - it’s been find without it
would a t strainer sit nicely over the open radiator??? reguarding dry docks there is a dry dock on the warickshire Avon called Harvington mill dry dock. if you Google warickshire Avon dry dock and it should come up

Went to Dublin 20 years or so ago. Quite young and daft, early twenties. Did the Guinness factory (not my choice, hate the stuff.) Got to the bar at the top to get our 'free' pint. Hi both. I am very new to the channel and I am watching the videos at random at the moment. I intend to go back and watch them in order, but I wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying them so far. I didn't think I had any interest canal boats but you are such an engaging couple that your videos are lovely to watch regardless. Keep doing what you are doing.
Oh my goodness Joe, that reversing, I really felt for you though you did make me chuckle when you're instant reaction to falling over was to check there wasn't anyone watching 😂 you really think they'd have closed it to stop you from heading down. Danni, glad you are enjoying your time in Jersey. The Channel Islands are Crown Dependencies and not part of the UK. You must visit the Underground Hospital and the German fortifications at Noirmomt Point. Gordy Castle is worth visiting and looks spectacular when it's floodlit. Have you tried Mary Ann Special beer yet? The French coast is only 14 miles from the north east corner, Rozel and St Catherine's, and can be clearly seen on a clear day.
You guy's need to go on the red line underground in Budapest. it will be worth it. The second oldest underground and it is amazing. And the castle district for the views over the city.
Hey an adventure. Definitely don't want to get stuck like that again. Such a shame you couldn't make it to the end of the arm. Great to see Danni again. She looks great and clearly enjoying her time on Jersey. Have a great time away. Xx
Hi Danni and Joe, Glad you got some time together after weeks apart. OMG I couldn't believe it when you come across that closure, we only watched Amy and Wes do that not long back and we said the same when you questioned whether to do it or not "why not eh, it's only small". Thos reversing skills are amazing! One question I have and I know you've spoken about them before, but what camera do you use for the footage on the front of the boat when you cruise please? Keep up the good vlogs, maybe we will see you around the midlands. We are setting off soon after renovating our boat :)

I know you have leaks, and a new engine to go in, but your'e asking for even more trouble.
It’s weird as no sign of oil in the water or water in the oil + without the cap on it doesn’t lose coolant! Worth noting ive removed the thermostat to help as well, takes a while to get warm but happily sits at 80c ! God knows what it’s up to 😂
Yeah, I agree, shame about the stoppage was looking forward to following the refit. Though I know it has to be done. Not aware of any other place that will allow self fit anywhere else. FYI, apologies if I came by you too fast last week. I did Leighton Buzzard to Limehouse in 4 days. See profile pic for my boat. Good luck you two. @@DanniandJoe
Oh dude....... removing the cap also removes the pressure from the cooling system. Lower pressure will actually *allow* the coolant to boil at a lower temperature, making vapor locks inside the engine and allowing the vapor near the cap to escape reducing the overall quantity of coolant over time.
Yeah but as I’ve said in multiple videos - there’s an issue with the cooling system where air locks develop almost daily on long cruises. With the cap off and thermostat out It runs fine and even when reversing with a bit of ‘rage’ on the throttle - it didn’t creep past 80
