Best Common Sense approach for not scratching up Your Prize Stratocaster I have a Custom Shop Eric Clapton Signature Stratocaster I Would Not Want One Scratch on it because OF Not using A Common sense approach Thanks for this Great Tip for using Common sense approach to Take care of my prized Ultimate Stratocaster
I read on a forum where a guy use needle nose pliers to pull them out and scratched his guitar so I thought of doing a video showing the correct way of removing them
Thanks for the video, very helpful. My Squier Strat only has two springs - should it have three or more? I recently put on a higher gauge set of strings and the bridge is up out of the body somewhat now.
Unfortunately due to the guitar I was doing this to being utter crap, the screws stripped after putting the strings back on, that’s less of a risk on a decent guitar but be careful
@@vacuumtubesandguitars that’s true, however bad quality wood definitely makes it significantly easier to do, especially the cheap softwood used in this guitar

3 or even 4 springs will help, plus screw the 2 screws holding the spring block in farther

Just a regular Phillips
