Honestly the Skaven Lore and the Dwarven Lore are probably what keep me going the most. But I wish other units were as detailed by GW and CA. And I guess you would say subfactions/factions that haven't been actualized in the game yet Got more time and credit in these videos, which is most appreciated, Thank you. Still I mean factions like the Albians or the Araby. Although the Albians need more lore, the Nippon need their's reworked (probably by a team of writers), and there still need to be largely African based (or more based after the Tomb Kings) units, North American Native based units, and Polynesian based factions. At least 3 or so tribes/subgroups for each. Even an Australian one where the Gods of Chaos are afraid to play, like if they combined their powers there once, almost becoming the Chaos Undivided and never wanted to do that again and what they made even scares or worries them, like the Beastmen or their Champions of Chaos but in a way that gave them too much warp energy, the kind that could make someone like Skaarbrand or Bela'kor take a shot at them. The Skaven pretty much represent the evils of unchecked consumerism. The Empire of Man is basically a united front that lacks total cohesion but keeps trying. The Greenskins would definitely have to be Aggression for the sake of Aggression. The Tomb Kings are likely the refusal to lay down and die, literally - which might also count the Vampires although they seem more like naturally internalized inhibitions released along with the thirst for blood so also a predatory nature. Although if anyone were the Predators it would definitely have to be the Beastmen whom live to do nothing more than to hunt and slaughter men, prove to everyone they're the children of chaos, destroy civilization and feast on human flesh most above all others besides maybe the Wood Elves whom are also kinda social Anarchists. The Chaos Dwarves are basically someone pushed too far and suffering too long before they become what they fear and/or hated most. The Ogre Kingdoms would also represent consumerism much like the Skaven, but more like the personification of the sin of Gluttony, since all they seem to care about are; food, more food (which could also be people, including other ogres), fighting, money and worshipping the Great Maw by throwing in scraps of food from their plates and anything that was stolen, dead, or still alive - all wrapped up in the form of the Biggest Bullies ever. Empires like Cathay and Kislev are literal bulwarks against whatever comes their way, the ideal - “a great defense is also a great offense” - as a military force, and most of the time they're right (otherwise the Empire and other lands like Tilea would've been overrun by Demons and Norscans whenever they marched South). The High Elves (including Sea Elves, Snow Elves, and the Dragon Legion) and Dark Elves and Wood Elves all represent the two sides of Pride (both the good that rises up and makes you feel strong, especially in a sense of duty to protect others. And the bad, which makes you think yourself invincible and everything belongs to you even other people) and a Need to return to Nature and get away from it all (almost like those Hallmark movies when some city person moves out to a more rural township area but mixed with the Ents/Talking Tree people from LotR). Each faction has something representative of human nature or worldly nature that we can observe or philosophize over. So if they made a sort of British Isle and Afro Royal and Tribal Kingdoms, Native Tribal and Polynesian Royal Kingdom style factions I wonder how they could and would look like. Especially since it's canon that the Giants often acting as Mercenaries for Beer and food or occasionally enslaved by certain groups (like Chaos warbands) from Albion and that when the High Elves made the Vortex the Albion Truthsayers did so as well. But in the process began to doom their people because of how the warp effected them, since it was opened on their main landmass instead of central island to focus the energies of the Warp. The animals became monsters, some humans who lived there were twisted becoming mutans almost like the Beastmen. The sorcereres who used Old One style magic like the Slaan of the Lizardmen began to dwindle and forget their craft and the environment went from lush green forests and hills into half frozen bogs and swamps. That's also not to forget the influence of Bela'kor as well. With a cult of the fallen wizards there worshiping him and almost setting him free much like how he was almost made a god in Total War: Warhammer 3. These are stories that could provide new fun lore and cultural perspectives if they're explored. I personally wanna see a version of sort of “Mexican-ish” Dwarves, that like the Chaos Dwarves/Dawi-Zarr survived in a new environment and essentially became a new race with close relation to their traditionally Dawi cousins and they rake in the gold trade, mining, have more women (the female ratio is now about half to that of the men compared to 1 quarter in the home continent), drink more wine than they usually do beer (Although they probably still make a mean brewski lol), and specialized even more in firearms and growing long mustaches along with their beards 🧔🏾➿⛏️🍺🍷♂️♂️♂️♂️♂️♂️♂️♀️♀️ Lol. And like Karaz-a-Karak feature a large bustling city built out of mesas and mountains armed to the teeth with explosives, sharp weapons and guns. So anyone from Demons to the Dark Elves would be sent home packing.
Would be fun but warhammer fantasy is a dead setting so CA won’t add any of those extra factions you had in mind due to GW not implanting them into their lore. So the factions that we know of in warhammer fantasy are static and won’t change, though there’s some under water primordial race of fish people who Lokhir fellheaet fought once. But yeah Nippon, Araby and Albion always needed fixing
@@makeytgreatagain6256 Yeah the Idoneth Deepkin. They're supposed to be created by Techlis after the End times come during the Age of Sigmar, he tried to rebirth the Elves but messed up. Instead he ended up accidentally creating new race sort of similar to the dark elves. Constantly watching and waiting to attack settlements and ships to take people and suck out their souls since they need them to live. And that is disappointing that the series has become so large yet they've come to a point where new innovations are basically moot unless they're for already established factions like the High Elves, Empire, Norscans, Orcs and Goblins/Greenskins, etc. And they're still plenty of room to grow. A new faction that's been getting some attention recently where the Hung tribe - who are basically Eastern chaos worshippers who ride small horses And apparently somehow co-op giant worms. But I struggle to figure where they probably fit in the grand scheme since the lands in which they inhabit would be smack dab between Cathay and the Mountains of Morn where the Ogre Kingdoms usually are. And there's still no major developments in other human nations in the series like Tilea or Estalia. Now I'm learning that there are Pygmies which wouldn't survive as a faction, especially since the lore (such as it is) that I'm finding online says that they hire themselves out as mercenaries to the ogre kingdoms. Which to me just sounds like they're serving themselves up for a snack, and the ogres already have that with a gnoblars. There's at least like 7 or 8 potential factions and like 4 or 5 interesting subfactions out there that could be utilized not just for the stories told but for the adventures and conquests yet to be had. Enough to truly put the world into the eternal struggle of order against chaos. Especially when you got characters like Nagash for whom is more or less trying to destroy the world because he didn't get to have a crown and a little kingdom of his own in Nehekara. #BitchBabyNagash Lol
@@trailblazerlazerrazerd9027 yeah it’s a shame, but GW never been very creative that’s why they won’t ever touch Araby with a 10 foot pole because they literally made their god Allah… yes literally Allah spelt the same and everything. The Pygmies won’t exist either because well just look up the models and you’ll realise why GW won’t ever touch those. The Amazons may exist for Fan service. And yeah I often said it’s silly how the lizardmen of the south lands don’t have their own unique roster as South lands has differnt animals to Lustria, and why isn’t their culture jsut a bit different it could be based on Inca if they still want the Native American feel or could do some African culture such as the Ashanti empire which would work. But GW as I said is lazy so such things are too much to ask for. Estalia and tilea are just rip off Italy and Spain very few differnces only one being that tilea has a huge part of their army being mercs and that’s about it so imagine conquistadors and the like for their spearmen and such. The Kurgan were described to be similar to the Hyborians of Conan so basically picture Conan the barbarians tribe and that’s basically the kurgan. The Hung are basically Turks/mongols in culture and warfare but chaotic. The only other human nation where anything went down was brettonia and even then it was always overshadowed by the empire, kislev was never even thought about until CA got a hold of them and Cathay may as well not have existed if it wasn’t for CA which created Cathay from scratch basically
@@makeytgreatagain6256 Exactly and that would make the Ogre Kingdoms the Mongols. Are there several different cultures that they could definitely be implementing in but won't from your aforementioned statement of their laziness. And I would hate to see the series become too stagnant that way. I guess it will probably have to really be about how they're all going to fit into the “end times”. Because just about every kingdom, every faction, every favorite fan unit or character for heroes like Gotrek & Felix, are all going to die. That also being said I can see why GW and CA aren't too hasty about getting into some sort of international conflict using certain cultures and races as their template. But that also kind of makes him a bunch of pu**ies too. Since they know that what they would do is going to come off culturally insensitive. So that's when you start including people of that cultural background and race in on the conversation said you can start making new ideas. It's easy to ignore all that stuff in the far future of 40K. But in the fantasy setting all this is like medieval/early Renaissance. When culture, trade, “exploration” and sciences were really starting to take off. And the world map is already a little goofy compared to ours because they put Araby in the West and Ind is so small while India is vast, about half to two thirds the size of China. Which also still doesn't leave a lot of room to throw in a Polynesian style group because of how the sea is dotted with those craggy islands east of the New World/Nagaroth. At best they might put in something similar to the Philippines or somethin. Overall the entire map needs to be redone too, staying more or less the same but with many alterations. And there should be at least three like African type tribes/factions with a fourth that worships Chaos. In one hand they absolutely would be half naked for the fans but we already see a lot of that as it is with the Slaanesh demons, Wood Elves and Dark Elves. So I don't think they would absolutely just be fan service full-on since they also probably wore armor and stuff. And it's be bad ass to see a group like them, some of them probably even being chaos worshipers, go up against a group like the Sisters of Battle aka the Nuns with Guns, from 40k. But the Amazon type units would have bigguns in their armies like Breanne of Tarth from GoT probably wielding spears long enough to pierce an orc clean through. I even have sort of an idea for like a whole sort of Greco Roman style faction, or at least some of their lore. Which would go much like the myths do except whomever would be like Zeus for them, would be beaten and eaten by his enemy who might be his father, and the result would actually merge the two of them into one being instead of just being a victory cannibalism meal. And the rest of the gods and titans just squash the beef. They probably couldn't have Satyrs/Fauns because of the Beastmen or those would be their's, making most humans of that region too fearful going into the deeper woodlands. And both they in the Polynesian style group would be constantly attacked by giant sea monsters like lesser water dragons and massive crustaceans, as well as being attacked by other factions like the chaos warbands. The only thing would be is out their weapons are largely made out of a weird mix of iron and bronze, which is impart because they try to summon the power of electricity from their chief god when on the battlefield regardless of whether or not they might be struck by regular lightning on a stormy night/day. They'd have other weapon types too but the bronze would definitely be inlaid even if someone had something like a trident mostly made of coral and other sea stuff. Like how they did Poseidon's Trident in the last Pirates of the Caribbean movie. And once again they can have as much fun with them as they'd want because ultimately they're all going to die and not be there for the Age of Sigmar. I for one wanna see a fight between a Talos like that one from God of War 2 in Rhodes, fighting a Iron Colossus or a Necrofex Colossus or even an Ogre riding an extra big Stonehorn. Once again going back to a more African theme, there are at least 5 or 6 different animals that aren't showcased in Warhammer Fantasy that would do great as more afro-based maybe monster units from the Southlands - Giraffes, Hippos, Hyenas, Wildebeests/Water Buffalo, Elephants (instead of the mastodons that are already claimed by the Norscans), or even Mosquitos - which could be a more aggressive version of the Rot Flies used as mounts by Nurgle's Plague Drones Since in real life mosquitoes do carry and can spread diseases like West Nile virus or Malaria. Lions would be in no-brainer but somehow they have snow lions which I still don't get/understand but at least they look cool. Technically Cathay should have some bad ass looking flaming lions or something thanks to Buddhist myth. The bad lore from Nippon said that they have them, but they can just go with foxes (since Foxes have a bigger spot in Japanese Shinto-Buddhist folklore for them).
@@makeytgreatagain6256 Yeah they really messed up with making the Araby either worship the Djinn which they summon and use on the battlefield as units (or maybe those are a lesser variety, once again this is why they need work on the lore writing) or Allah - most merciful and compassionate, peace be upon him. I'm not religious I just need to get that out my system since it sounds so poetic lol. South Park got threatened by Al Quaeda Because they thought they were actually going to release an image of Muhammad. GW doesn't want that find of legal war, best to clean that up. And if they ever do get their heads out their asses, they can just say one of the African factions worships a pantheon of like 7 or 8 gods like the Yoruba Orisha. In fact it's weird that they didn't go there considering one of the biggest tribes still around used to worship Anansi - a trickster Spider God. It should be easy to write in that this could be a manifestation of Tzeentch much like how people theorize that being the true forms of The Great Horned Rat for the Skaven or Hashut the Father of Darkness for the Chaos Dwarves. And so far the only group I've heard about that has a worth of a giant spider is the dark elves in DnD or something for and ad they did on UA-cam about a new tabletop expansion. But the dark elves in Warhammer Fantasy worship some of the same gods as the high elves, albeit in more sinister ways.
hands down i think that the strongest leader in any total war warhammer is ikit such bs always makes me mad how unbelievably OP they are even at just the start of campaigns

The land selling thing to gain lordship is just as Skaven as Tretch’s tale… but I’m okay with that.
Good content
The Lore is cool and all, but I swear every campaign I do this clan always gets wiped before any of the other major clans always
Clan rictus supreme!!!!
