- Lake Winnebago is the last event of the Bass Pro Tour season, and I'm looking for a solid finish that will put me into the Red Crest Championship. Coming into this tournament, I was excited for the smallmouth bite and felt good about it in practice. Unfortunately, conditions changed and I struggled to adapt and make the cut. It's a close one and comes down to a few bites. Let me know what you think below.

It can be a tough bite out there for sure depending on the weather. You battled hard this year. Sometimes the fish just don't cooperate. Thanks for taking us along for the ride!
Great footages! It was nice seeing yall in my home lake. When the school of smallies are found out on the reefs, lady Bago(winnebago) will produce nonstop action. The lakes so big finding the active school can be tough.
This is my hometowns Lake. Tbh the Lake isn’t really known for biggins for bass. It’s known for their walleyes. There’s very few big bass in the lake. The heaviest I’ve caught was 3lbs - 3 1/2lbs

I live on the lake and the west side is the best side of the lake for bass fishing in the cuts and smallmouth out on rock piles

I got lucky and found some fish the day after you guys took off but bite went back to junk for the walleyes. Took 4th place that Sunday with 19.75 lbs took 27lbs to win it! I’ll have to go check some of those reefs today when I hit the water!

Great work this year on the circuit. Great work on the videos and keep up the great work! What rod are you using when throwing a frog? I tried the Alpha Angler Zilla, but I'm thinking the Slasher might be the go to.
Which alpha rod and Diawa reel combo are you using on that frog?
Derek Stewart I am pretty sure it’s a zilla and a steez a. If you don’t have a zilla you need one!
That’s what I was thinking. I’m more interested in the gear ratio on the steez and I was thinking the zilla. I have one obviously I need at least one or two more lol

I have the Steez-A 7.1:1 on the Alpha Angler Zilla. Perfect balance of speed and power.
