I usually say the music makes the game and boy is it true for this game. Wouldn't be as good without the killer music in the background while gunning people down
Audio(also audio variety)makes a huge difference in how you remember and how immersed you can be. Many times, l prefer the older games because of their sound effects and music used on them. Specific old games capture the atmosphere of the game perfectly and fit, it doesn't sound generic or trope like. A favorite game of mine that is sadly abandoned but l always remember it is "From Earth", it is free on steam. Oh, the soundtrack there!

This was the song I'd turn the volume up full blast when the parents weren't home. Loved feeling the room shake to this tune during arcade mayhem.

Now listening to this again, this sounds like something from Tekken 4 or any similar fighting game.
