The LCK is currently experiencing continuous suspected DDOS attacks.Although we are doing our best to respond, the attack pattern and methods are constantly changingand will make it difficult to continue with Match 52 T1 vs FOX Game 2.After discussions with the teams, all parties have agreed to finish Game 1, even withcontinuous pauses, and reschedule Game 2 for a later date.· For fans who purchased tickets for the match, full refunds will be conducted.· We will further inform viewers throughthe LCK's official social media about the rescheduled match· We apologize once again for the inconvenience
For everyone asking where Game 2 is: Due to ANOTHER DDOX ATTACK at the start of game 1 which resulted in about an a hour and a half of a pause, FearX and T1 agreed to finish game 1 no matter how many pauses there were (points for dedication) and finish off the series on a later date. The schedule is going to be posted on LCK’s social media
Conflict of protocol. Bows are taken at the end of matches, not individual games. The match was not over so T1 should not have been required to take a bow. Faker was using correct protocol by remaining seated.@@wonrei
LPL ddosing LCK after T1 embarassed them at Worlds, and now that they lost Theshy the viewers dried up so fast they gotta ddos LCK to get some viewers back during LCK pauses xdd
My initial thought for real hahaha but kidding aside we can't say for certain who's targeting the LCK server since last Sunday and as much as I hate it, I think it's best for LCK to just go back to 2020ish set up of games but this time it's always be recorded games instead of live in-dorm ones since if that's the set up the game is free flowing and no pauses happens.
I always thought pro games were played in a safe LAN. I cannot believe they had to reschedule T1 vs FOX. Imagine this happening at Worlds Finals. This is embarrassing.
fyi ,in T1 vs FEARX they got DDOS attacks ,so their ping is very2 high ,because the guy who spam DDOS attack is sending alot request to their game ping ,causes highping
Avoid DDOS by having local game servers Internet is NOT required for streaming. Use good old XLR and Coaxial AV duplication to the steaming server connected to internet. It is easy to stream with a LAN cable setup, but XLR/Coaxial guarantee one-directional AV only feed. This is a mature standard in live production where you see a large panel plugged with hundreds of cables for mixing and monitoring. They just need to test their gaming PC driver so audio & video don’t lag on player’s side. With this stack, DDOS can only go to the streaming server, not the game client or server, as there is only HDMI and XLR in between.
I think they have a tournament realm, but even if it was a local server the spectator has to be a part of the game, and connected to an internet connection in order to stream the game so there would always be an access point.
@nighto7411 Yeah a lot of people don't think about that which is chill most people don't need to know that kind of cyber security stuff, but it helps to know.
@@dtsnelsonwhy would he need to be connected to the Internet tho? Can't he just send the video to another PC that isn't connected network wise. That PC can then do the streaming part. Of course ddosing that PC still sucks for the stream but it should not affect the game or am I missing something?
ur so wrong lol. There is a internet connection for the broadcast sure but the whole game can run offline even spectators and what you would achieve ddosing this is lag for the VIEWERS not pauses on the game. It would be nice to know something about cyber security no? ;)

I think the fact that no DDOS is occurring when they play without an audience clearly shows someone is actively trying to sabotage the game in-person..maybe they should have stricter security?

I'd guess huge LPL fans doing something like this. Kinda worried about T1 fans doing a response attack on LPL games. Those fans are nuts over there.

I always thought pro games were played in a safe LAN. I cannot believe they had to reschedule T1 vs FOX. Imagine this happening at Worlds Finals. This is embarrassing.
and a massive financial loss. Within a LAN network they could have continued the game and resumed the live stream with delay afterwards
Imagine target attacking because a lck team beat all 4 lpl powerhouse teams in worlds. Pathetic.
proof? or just larping.
No game 2 is crazy.
i'm confused, do these players not play on a closed LAN?

hmmmmmmmmmmm... DDOS only occurs for SOME teams and not all. If they did more live games, it would be interesting to see if that trend would continue.
T1 games probably have highest viewer count.

Chinese attacking lck coz they're scared that's clearly lck is in the best form this year and they gonna take msi and worlds title
Hard to say if it's chinese. Cause riot games is chinese owned.

How does riot still not have offline matches. There is no need for this nonsens.
