That has made up my mind , Ive knocked both the gray nichols and the GM off the list and am going be getting the little guy either , 1st choice the kahuna light or the rapid . Suppose its price and availability that will have the final say . Keep up great show . I love it , I can watch you guys do that all night . Thanks once again for all your advice and input
Strange that australia have a completely different bat range with different stickers only the beast ghost and kahuna are the same models Btw can’t wait for the gray Nicholls and ton bat reviews
I want a kookaburra alternative for the gm brava, i want the huge edges and spine but i personally like the look of kookaburras as well, they’re cheap too
guys do you know if there are clads available for Morrant pads. Again some great advise for batters. I play with a Ben Stokes GM Diamond 2.10.1 and sometimes i am later on a spinner if I have gone front foot and moved back as I am a heavy human being Please guide if the K L Rahul 2.8lb bat is a better bet.
Loved your video and analysis of the Kookaburra cricket bat range. Thorough and the perspective was excellent given the actual playability. Cheers from Australia. Keep up the good work. Whilst the Kahuna may be a bit heavy for me, I think it would be a good choice, given that I don't have a lot of power. Therefore, I need thickness in the middle of the bat of which Kahuna offers. Cheers.
My country started their first womens cricket league this year. I didnt know where to start with choosing a bat. This video was very insightful. Two things though: 1st) How do I know what size bat I need? l've seen 3, 4, 5, 6, H and I dont remember the last size. 2nd) The bats also come with a number like Aura 2.1, 4.1, 6.1. I've seen them as far up as 9.1. How do I know which one to choose? I already know I want the Aura (It's so pretty.) Please help.
Hi Esete, please check out this video which will help you with your sizing questions - ecs.page.link/CnyLe The differnt numbers represent the different quality of willow. The lower the number, the better grade of willow. Hope this helps :)
Ta for the video, I'm a Vets cricketer here in Aust and still use that 90's Bubble. I find it very light 2.4 ish still has a beautiful hitting zone but a tad dead up high, trying to hook one that come on a bit quick caught at square leg type of feeling. Anyway, obvious question, have these bubble bats improved out of sight since then or is it ok just to keep on keeping on with my 90's bubble bat?
Looking to get back into cricket and need a new bat, got a question - how comes Kookaburra charge a similar amount for a Grade 6 bat to a Grade 2 bat by Gunn & Moore ? Do the bat manufacturers grade the wood themselves, some stricter than others?
I’m not sure what it is but I’m told that kookaburra usually have higher quality wood. But grade is based on if its bleached and how many grains it has. So the gm might have more grains (lines in the wood) whereas it might not be a as nice piece of wood. This might be helpful or completely useless.
Kookaburra GM GN are all classic premium top quality bats Yes every bat manufacturer grade the wood themselves So they have their own unique grading system Kookaburra claims to have the best quality willow and the willow comes from England and GM and GN are from England so they do have high quality willow Don't spend much on bats if you're playing at club level For GM you can get Original, 909 or 808 even signature is good affordable
Hi, thanks for your question. The Bubble is discussed in this video from 26:42 onward. Also, look out for the 2024 Kookaburra bat review, which is coming very soon, as the Bubble also features in that range!
Hi Akshat, thanks for the question. The handle of the bats should be similar but the grips are all different. The grips are the following: Kahuna - Vertex Grip Ghost - Players Grip Aura - Aura grip
Genuine doubt. Are they Kez and Dan's dads? 😅
Rumbled....
They to good to be their dads

what about Kookaburra Shadow?
Sadly we don't have access to the Shadow this year 👎
Do u guys now what happened to Dan and Ken and why they cancelled we cricket
Ghost 7.1 ❤
Does 7.1 mean it’s wood grade 7, where 1 is best, 2 is next best and so on? What does .1 mean vs .0?
Is kookaburra bubble 4.0 good for hitting and playing drives too?
Who can remember the Ridgeback?? Damn that was my favourite of all time 👊👊
This video helped me choose what to buy, I'm getting an Aura, it is just perfect for me.
Thank you, glad we could help!

The Australia Bat Range is slightly different to the UKs
@@SeriousCricketTV So will we get these new edition bats like the beast which is already in Australia or is it only sold in the UK?
Hi

Love the videos guys. Swaying towards a beast myself
make sure you clear the ropes!
So 7 "new" bats of which 5 are the same as before just with new stickers, and the other 2 are exactly the same just different graphics 😂
The rapid was rapidly light😂
Is the handle of the Ghost and Kahuna similar to the Aura?
Hi Akshat, thanks for the question. The handle of the bats should be similar but the grips are all different. The grips are the following:
