Welcome guys great to have you in the group. Some fantastic tips and also good to hear about different planning for different types of trip. Look forward to see more from you 😊
Thanks for these tips. I remember turning up at a site forgetting the towels so after that I laundered them at the end of a trip then put them straight back
Got to make sure there is a pub or restaurant nearby. Ciska and I have a habit of spending far too much on eating out when we are in the van🤣. Great first Vanother Vlog guys.
Just looking to book france now, thanks for the reminder about food though! What documents do we need to travel with other than the obvious, passport and travel insurance, our caravan insurance. What else will we need? Any other tips welcome, we are first timers!
Hi you will need to carry your V5 with you, You Car Insurance your Vehicle Insurance Certificate and if you are planning on entering one of the many clean air zones you will also need a Crit Air Certificate / Sticker. Hope that helps
Hi Yes, We had the caravan updated, when we bought it to give us the extra payload and are lucky enough to have a weigh bridge in our village that we can use with permission. I also once packed before heading to to France check the nose weight with a calibrated tool.
Welcome aboard guys, great to have you with us.
Thank you

@@CaravanEscapades101 You already know that the french police do stop cars that look overcharged
@@mentonish I do and we make sure that we are well within the weights. Its one of the reason I go for a very big car, it gives us plenty of capacity.
