- Опубліковано 19 жов 2024
- I purchased the SS-11R last ice fishing expo and got them installed in late December 2019. I was told these can last up to 10,000KM on road vehicles.
I only put around 650ishkm on my ATV last year. I highly recommended these if you run a quad on lake Simcoe. its night and day and totally worth it.

What if you put them in too far? Will they pop your tire? Did any of them fall out? Thanks for this review Seabass, I was looking at getting these a few weeks ago, but I have tubeless tires and I’m worried they will pop my tires, thanks again!
I have no issues at all. Haven’t lost one and they haven’t dug in. These things legit works
I love them for ice cream
Good to see you again and good information
All your reviews r great thanks for them making us better fisherman
Thanks brother means a lot
I cant wait to get mine. I'm going to use them on my 200cc mini bike on the ice
another good review.
No worries about tire puncture.i have them in my heavy winterboots also.works great. No slip!
Yup, they work big-time. I use them in a few different applications and they kill.
The studs are great. The install tool is awful. I tried three different tools, but they're all the same. About 10% of the studs get caught in the tool and have to be ruined with players to be removed. I just reinstalled mine for the second season and lost about another 10% to the same problem. These are WAY too expensive to lose at that rate.
I’m not sure how you can ruin them with the tool? Mine worked flawlessly and I’ve installs thousands.
@SeabassOutdoors the tool is softer metal than the fastener, which is a huge no-no in machine design. It causes the tool to deform slightly, which traps the stud. Then the only way to get them out is with a pair of pliers.
Another great review, thanks 👍
Would you leave them on all year or remove them for summer and reinstall for winter again ?
I’m still waiting for your sonar battery review
I leave them on. I use it more in the winter. As for the battery review....it was JUNK!
You can buy them for your boots too !
good stuff, but..... 50 per tire? i plow snow with my machine and i have 200 per rear and 160 in each front, lol. overkill? probably not, i don't get stuck, lol.
I used them today with 8inch of snow on the lake and they still helped dig in that ice
@@SeabassOutdoors oh no, i have no doubt they would help dig in. 50 just didn't sound like very many. when i did my tires, i figured i had the studs, might as well use 'em all, LOL. i plowed 12 to 14 inches of snow just this morning with no trouble at all. ;)
Send it!
Are these removable for summer months?
what about you drill a bolt inside a tire will that let the air out from a tire ?
That outside lug doesn't touch the ice because you're tires are over-inflated. You only need 3-4 lbs in each tire for ice and snow.
Ran it on glare ice all day yesterday. 90km/hr no problem. Plenty of grips and no need for low pressure on glare ice. All 3 studs are touching the ice
3 years later and no video on the results?
Still on my quad and I run a lot of rocky roads I have almost 2k on them highly recommend them
@@SeabassOutdoors I just ordered a package and look forward to seeing a difference. Thanks for the video but was looking for a follow up video on your results. 2k is impressive!!!
So are you suppose to remove them after winter? Or run them year round?
I ran them year around
Rated up to 10000km apparently
Would you consider these a replacement for tire chains?
definitely!
@@007tallguy What setup do you have? What terrain have you used them on?
How have they held up so far? Have a lot of them tore out?
None of them tore up they are worked well
These look more like the "picks" you put on the track of a racing sled, rather than just sheet metal screws.
Sheet metal screw will get doll quickly. I’ve had those for a couple years now. Ride on the road and still like new and sharp.
Sweet vid love the honest reviews. Any updates on the bass cat ?
It’s still stand as a boat I wouldn’t rather not have purchased! Headache 🤕
FUGGNEH SEB WHEELIE THAT CAN AM!! ATV SEND ALL DAY LETS GO CHEERS
You lost me at “install them yourself”
🤣
Would you consider these a replacement for tire chains?
Honestly wouldn’t know I never had chain on an ATV but I think these are painless compared to having to put chains on and off
