This bad and testing year just slid away; leaving me feeling massaged relaxed. So thanks for providing me with a break in what is my life.

Used to live on the CDS for many years and Malaga is great. It's a relatively normal place which is not too touristy compared with the rest of the coast. Happy memories of the cathedral as my daughter was born in a clinic adjacent to it.
I know Malaga and Seville really well. The square you ate in is called Obisbo square and the painted building opposite the cathedral is the Obisbo palace( Bishops palace. Fun video. Thanks James and Helen.

I have never been to Spain because the heavy weight of responsibility and the tiny wage for long hours has always held me back. I have done a fair bit of boating on British waterways though. The biggest boat I sailed, single handed mind, was a beast on the Caledonian Canal. I crossed Loch Ness in a dreadful storm in 1984. That was scary because the Loch is 900 feet deep. You'd need a crew of sailors to run one of them yachts, you'd be unable to sail that single handed.

PS - the red wine with ice and fruit you were drinking when you said "ive no idea what that is" - its called "Tinto de Verano" (means summer wine - usually made with red, sprite and fruit) very popular in Spain and we were drinking it in Beni also - did you not like it?

You guys are so much like me and the other half when were on holiday - mostly wandering, looking and largely sitting eating/drinking - repeat! When you see such places with park like scenery, you realise how backward the UK is, with property designer planners with councils etc having no idea or caring how to enhance peoples lives, thanks for another great video.
Why do people always use videos on Spain as an excuse to have a go at the UK... It's getting tedious now!... There's tonnes of nice places in the UK, many of them showcased on this channel.

Isn't it gorgeous, we got into the Cathedral through the door around the left of the building last year. Constitution Square is lovely hope you made it there, go in December and watch the hourly Xmas light show with fabulous music.
Anyway james,ya like yer fish an chips,we are on our hols in marske next the sea which is near redcar,so i can recommend Seamist Fish an chips.ive had them twice now,weve only been since friday but anyway the fish is to die for an the chips aswell.might be one to put on ya list? Enjoy yersens!!

You need to go to La Carihuela it’s in between Torremolinos and Benalmadena, it’s full of seafood restaurants ( sardines on sticks 😂 ) walk from Torremolinos ( bottom of steps ) into Benalmadena harbour, it takes about 50 minutes it’s beautiful, I know what I’m talking about I’m from BARNSLEY…

I do catering James and Ellie Bob. Smashed Burgers are the best, they are alot thinner than a standard burger but the advantage is you can season the meat to how you like it ie chilli, mint etc etc and make them into balls and smash or press them town, You tend to put 2 or 3 on a smashed burger dependant on appetite.. Delicious 😋

You should give alicante a go.. i always thought it was just a stop off on my way to benidorm but i was totally wrong. Iv been to malaga and its very similar but i think better. Got a beach a harbour . An old town and a new part and easily walked around. Its fantastic .
We've done Alicante a few times and absolutely love it. We have a vlog somewhere in the back catalogue. :-)
