www.skillshare.com/r/profile/... When learning how to use a 3D modelling application like Blender, one of the things that we’re going to learn is terminology. There are a lot of terms to learn when we are developing our skill sets with an application as complex as Blender 3D.
The term attribute is used to describe data that is associated to a specific element. For example, a vertex can have multiple attributes associated to it. These can be either pre existing attributes or user generated ones. One example of an attribute associated to vertices is the position attribute.
When learning to use a tool like Blender, it can be very beneficial to understand the different terminology used for the various aspects of the blender software. The better we can understand the software that we’re working with, the more we can do with it.

This tutorial is an excellent example of teaching terminology. All too often we use a product, like Blender, with lots of "let's try this or that" but not fully understand/appreciate the basic concepts of how we arrived at the final image or animation. Just now subscribed and looking forward to more tutorials on terminology and concepts so that we can be more efficient in producing the end result. Thank You!
From another creator, great work. This subject is not covered by many

Thank you, Mister.
Excellent description. Clear, concise, with a fully understandable logical flow. Thank you.
This was a great tutorial. Clear, straight forward and very informative with solid details.
Thank you!
Been using Blender for years but new to geometry nodes that video was excellent very well explained and I learnt something I did not know.
Thanks. Hope your channel continues to grow.
I've watched several videos supposed to explain me what fields and attributes were, but to no avail... Now that I watched yours, I don't even remember what I was confused about! :p
Many many thanks for your help!!! ^_^
