Sadly, I was only able to view a few episodes of the original Jeeg before all Japanese Anime robot shows were pulled off the air during the later years of the Marcos era. Now I have a complete set of the series of the later Jeeg, the Kotetsoshin Jeeg where both Jeegs get to fight together...
I was able to get the original series from eBay, but it’s Italian and zone 2 dvds I have a multi region player but I lived this show when I was young, saw episodes in colombia, jeeg never big in US tho
I do hope that someday Kotetsu Jeeg and Kotetsushin Jeeg get released on Blu-ray in North America. Hopefully, Discotek Media will get the rights to both of them so they can be released.
