In spite of the "powers of the keys", the concepts of interdiction and excommunication have been totally abused throughout history. Only God knows if someone has de facto excommunicated himself.
Thus we really can't say Vigano is excommunicated
      This is simply Bergoglio's opinion.
Those who feel Bergoglio is the oracle of God are sadly mistaken.
The powers of the keys is something very serious like speaking "ex cathedra" and not something to be trifled with by angry prelates!

My family and I attended the Traditional Latin Mass and could never go back to the Norvos Ordo Mass. Since Covid we have been very awake to the corruption in the church, governments, etc. I pray for Archbishop Vigano daily. I believe one day he will be considered for sainthood. What a brave, wise, faithful, and good man he is. Thank you for sharing his website and for another great show today. God bless you both.

@@kimberlihahn6648 I began attending TLM 10 yrears ago. I used to drive an hour to an hour 1/2 to go, and I bounced around because they were all around the same distance. I found one that started a few years and only about a half hour away. Love it! It’s Cathedral-like, absolutely beautiful, great priests, wonderful, faithful, like-minded community.
Unfortunately, I’ve been having heath issues and cannot drive or hitch a ride with anyone because they don’t live near me. It’s too hard to drive even locally. So back at the local N.O. It’s okay, the Lord has me detaching from a lot this past few years. He knows how much I love it, but assuming He’s preparing me for something, so embracing it. Where Jesus is licitly is all that matters!

Your deeply touching discussion brought to mind, Christ’s immortal Words,in answer to the Sad’ducees lawyer “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” And He said to him” You shall love the Lord, your God , with all your heart and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And the second is like it, you shall love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets.” It would be a good reminder to the faithful to put these words on the notice board inside our churches!

I agree with everything here, and it is good to discuss it, as many will learn from the discussions. But the reality remains is that those in this Pontificate (and many clergy around the world) have a different view altogether of Catholicism, from worship to doctrine, pastoral care and beyond. It's a different "color" of Catholicism. We are at an impasse, and only God can fix this with our prayers and lay people involvement.

I thought that because Vatican 2 was a non-binding, non-dogmatic/non-doctrinal, “pastoral” council, then it’s perfectly in keeping with the tradition of the Church for Viganò to reject V-2.

Yes and to be honest to be true to Vatican 2 doesn't actually mean to adopt all the chnages that were not even approved anyways. German and Dutch Bishops are the main ones who introduced the Eucharist on the hand and girl altar servers and and such amd so if we are to be true to factual church history we are obligated to reject all thise perverse practises that have no place in the church and never had any approved and were snuk in. Let's not be hoodwinked ked any longer and kick let's freemason heretics out when found to push back on the return of Tradition

My conclusion on Vatican II is, since it was stated publicly by Pope John XXIII before the council. That the intention was to be pastoral. And since Bishop Baron has said it was mostly a doctrinal council. The doctrines of the council are unintended and failed to engage the magisterium on any level. If you as a priest state publicly before Mass you don't intend to change bread and wine to the Body and Blood of Christ, it does not change during Mass!
Fr. Gregory Hesse argued a council is called to correct error, define doctrines, and condemn errors. Vatican II is the only one called without that intention, so it lacks the proper intent to be a valid council! (Some councils never got around to doing that which they were called for). He said Vatican II is more like a synod of bishops, then a council! Fr. Hesse went on to say, the bishops of the world were wined and dined for dinner (super), then given the documents of the council to be voted on the next day. They were told it was custom to vote as the pope was voting. They were told they are not dogma but pastoral documents and were not infallible, so their arms were being twisted so to speak, to vote in favor of them. Do you think one or two bishops read the 16 documents before they voted for them? Could you read them some night after super and after drinking two glasses of wine, and let me know how that goes for you? Are you familiar with Cardinal Ottaviani when he spoke at the council, how he had the mic turned off on him. How the pope made those running the council apologize to him? A pastoral council that is mostly doctrinal, how is that not a bait and switch scheme? Having said that, you know no Traditionalist is denying any authentic Catholic teaching reiterated in Vatican II. You know we accept more of the council then the liberals do.
The Church has always wiped books from our memory that contained just one error. The only need to correct the council is for the good of the faithful. But the faithful are now mostly lost anyway, so throwing it out all together, rather then correcting it, would not create anymore damage! Let's be honest, that's where we are at!
It's a sin for us to be purposely ambiguous, so why were almost 100% of the bishops of the world, as well as a pope and popes since the council, willing to be ambiguous? It's justified Catholic shame, that should be moving Catholics to discard this council, composed in sins of ambiguity as well as bait and switch sins! Can we in an attempt to defend that which we think is Catholic, knowingly defend sins of ambiguity and bait and switch?
You are both admitting what Archbishop Lefebvre believed, the new Mass is dangerous to the priests who end up forgetting what being a priest is all about!
Fr. Murr, does error have a right to exist if it comes from a pope and is not corrected by a cardinal or a bishop? Not only do I have a right to correct you my superior. I have an obligation to do so. You have both a right and an obligation to correct erroring bishops and popes. The cardinals and bishops are only 1st in the order of that obligation to correct an erroring pope.

    • @mn17771
      @mn17771 Місяць тому

Yes. We each have a right and a duty, commensurate with our abilities, and in defence of our Church, to correct and admonish our Superiors, our Equals or our Subordinates in the Church.
We are the army of defenders of the Catholic Church.
Jesus expects nothing less from us, and Canon Law obliges us.
      'Canon Law 212:
§3. According to the knowledge, competence, and prestige which they possess, they have the RIGHT and even at times the DUTY to manifest to the sacred pastors their opinion on matters which pertain to THE GOOD OF THE CHURCH and to make their opinion known to the rest of the Christian faithful, without prejudice to the integrity of faith and morals, with reverence toward their pastors, and attentive to common advantage and the dignity of persons.'
And indeed, Mercy alone obliges us.
Three of the seven 'Spiritual Works of Mercy':
      Admonish the Sinner.
      Instruct the ignorant.
      Counsel the doubtful.

Gentleman, thank you once again. In a recent utube interview (7-13-24) Bp. Athanasius Schneider, fielded a question (read from the host of the podcast) from a women discerning to be Catholic. Her question:"In order to become Catholic, must we accept Vat II and the "new Mass?" Bp. Athanasius responded w/ the following, taken from the transcript, and my edits, given his accent in English:
"No, to be a Catholic you have to profess the faith (of) the Catholic faith, the dogmas. And even before the council, the church only asked in the so-called Profession of Faith, a long list to specifically to accept the [those] dogmas infallibly taught. And therefore, [the] Second Vatican Council did not propose any Dogma [new dogma] or definity (sic) teaching at ...only more pastoral teachings. We are not obliged as Catholics, strictly to be Catholics, to accept specific only pastoral teachings. We have to accept the magisterium as such and the reigning Pope, that he is a valid Pope, and the office of Peter and the papacy, and so on, but not specific teaching which has not the guarantee of be [being] infallible which has not the guarantee to be a definitive teaching. But (um) and therefore, and the nov order [Novus Order] we have not to accept to be Catholics, because it contains some ambiguities, and the church cannot obliged to accept ambiguities.
We have to, I repeat, accept the authority of the popes who made the no mess (New Mass) but they remain the pope nevertheless, but in this case did an error (uh) it's not a heresy, the new Mass, but some ambiguities, and therefore, you can be a a true Catholic not accepting the new Mass. well you have to you must as Catholic say and this requires the all see accept that the new mess is valid, this you must of course, and it is valid. And so, and even Archbishop Lefevre accepted the validity of the New Mass when it was celebrating according the books, the liturgical books, so in this case yes.”
    Hope this helps...

Talk about ambiguity! That's is what I cannot understand when the Holy Mass has been reduced to a caricature of what it was from 2000 years, why is it not emphatically condemned . Heck, till a few years ago the words of Jesus in the consecration of the Blood of Jesus read ' for you and for all' then one day it it changed to 'for you and for many' so who answers for that glaring mistake that was deliberately put in. Mark my words one day tbe SSPX will shine, and I hope the remorse from all its detractors will come in thick and fast. God bless Archbishop Lefevre and the SSPX for their unwavering stand. God sees the intention of the heart, he saw the intention behind the actions of Saul before his conversion, and He knows that unless those men were ordained Bishop, the TLM would have been wiped off the face of the earth, and we would have been in the soup we are spiritually many decades ago. 😢 the very fact that the Pope's in the past have disregarded the words of the very Mother of God at Fatima should mean something sinister. Yet we are to blindly belive what mere man has created to be the Sacred form of worship. Look at how they have watered down the Sacraments. All I can say is God help us all.

I think the Lord intends a pope for life, I think it very rare, to the point of "inadmissible" - to pick a wonky oddly flexible word of our time, so wonderfully adorned with many flexible connotations.
I, personally, have felt rather inadmissible, even at mass, often at weddings, and certainly in my political views, like an Eskimo in the Sahara. Nonetheless, I think the completely evident diabolical intrusion into the church and the extra strength version in the world, is, aptly described as smoke. It has both a stench and an ability to obscure and confuse and divide and upset. The solution?
Don't let the smoke bother you, God will clean it up in His time. Stick near Our Mother. She's tall enough to see over the smoke. Pio had it right: Pray, Hope and don't Worry! Can you dig it fellow babies! - I am channeling Dr. Johnny Fever there for you, WKRP.
Now, where was I sitting in this leaky boat? Oh yes, between Our Lady and the guy sleeping in the back, that's where I sit, and there's room for you too!

At 28 mins when referring to John 23rd, it’s also prudent to consider that he was instructed by the Queen of Heaven through the Fatima seer Sister Lucia to reveal the third secret and defied The Queen of Heaven and subsequently convoked the council.
While we cannot judge his intentions, we cannot also ignore his actions and can make sound observations that his decisions, which he disbelieved the Fatima message, ran contrary to that message and we now see the results.

The reason we are feeling off balance with the attempted assassination is simple. The ground below us spiritually is shaking continually and has for a long time - nearly 60 years. Many people not all - have refocused and started looking towards the government Nanny State. We know that didn’t do well with the Israelites. Read 1 Samual Chapter 8. Until we individually and collectively turn our hearts and minds and wills towards God, nothing is going to get any better. Scripture says he is a jealous God. That jealousy is for our souls. Anything that interferes with that - any appetite, desire, focus other than Him is in competition to His will for us.

Why do you keep confusing the spiritual with the political? The Catholic Church has been completely monopolistically dominated by the school of Ressourcement since the opening of the council.
We have had decades of thoughts and teachings put out by a series of popes that were essentially neophytes as a school of thought.
And with Paul VI and Francis this is more political than it is spiritual. That is why there is a masonryesque preoccupation with the world, the flesh, and politics.
I am not at all confused that the Church is doing anything, because I’m aware that men like Francis are total political animals.
It is helpful that they are not dogmatic and don’t believe in dogma and are modernists because they don’t touch the Deposit of Faith directly. They just walk around it and skirt it using pastoralism like a heresy.

All I can see is an impotent priesthood led by bickering old men blundering along with no purpose! A wise priest in our local church, though quite a modernist, told us the following anecdote:
The Church leaders gathered at the Vatican to confer on doctrinal matters. The Holy Spirit was passing by and heard them debating. He put his head round the door and asked: "Would you allow me to join in the discussion?" He was told: "Can't you see we're busy? We don't want to be disturbed!"

Regarding whether the Vatican II Council was Pastoral or Authoritative in its teaching (Dogmatic), Pope Paul VI stated:
"But one thing must be noted here, namely, that the teaching authority of the Church, even though not wishing to issue extraordinary dogmatic pronouncements, has made thoroughly known its authoritative teaching on a number of questions".
(Address of Pope Paul VI at the Last General Meeting of the Second Vatican Council, 7 December 1965).
This being so, a Catholic in good standing cannot withhold assent to the Council's teaching nor refuse submission to its authority & authoritative teaching.

    • @Apcvc1
      @Apcvc1 Місяць тому +2

Very few claim that the Second Vatican Council is an ‘invalid council’. Many point to the INCONTROVERTIBLE truth, however, that the Second Vatican Council does not, and CANNOT, take precedence over the infallible doctrinal and dogmatic ecumenical councils that preceded it. The Church did not suddenly appear on the Earth after December 1965.
Your position implies an equivalence between the ecumenical council that took place between October 1962 and December 1965 and the infallible teaching of ecumenical councils that preceded it. This, simply is not true. Not even the statement of Pope Paul VI can change this.
The men in positions of authority, influence, and power in the Church for the past fifty nine years have attempted to reimagine, reinterpret, reinvent, and remake the Church, the liturgy, the magisterium, and Almighty God, Himself, in their own image.
And THIS, my dear @dariusclovis1374, is not only heresy, it is anathema.
One can discuss the issue of the Second Vatican Council from very different perspectives. The incontrovertible truth is clear: one judges the tree by its fruit.
The tradition of one thousand nine hundred and thirty two years before 1965 has born rich fruit.
The chaos and confusion that has beset the Church since the close of ‘The Council’ is poisoned fruit.
Poisoned fruit commands neither obedience, nor submission.
      And there it is.

When nobody believes things are going to get wicked, you will see evil you have never seen evil worse than any horror movie someone has seen.
    2 Thessalonians 2:7
For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way.
The young ones who are coming out into the world experiencing life are finding that they are filled with the Holy Spirit and they’re seeking it out, The “traditional mass gives them that golden thread of Jesus connection that nobody else has.. it’s like walking in the coolness of the garden talking to God.

Why persecutee priests and parishioners that want to stay close the teachings and reverence of our Roman, Catholic and apostolic church. This confusion that they created the exudes of the people. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
