Tin roof blowdown might be the best of the series. And I think that’s the greatest book series ever. He’s my favorite author. Absolutely Amazing.

You never heard of Elliot Patterson because you avoid the Patterson Shelving with such determination !

The Mack Bolan, Able Team and Phoenix Force series brings me back to when I was 12 and loved the books so much. I just recently bought a decent lot of The Executioner and Stony man books.

    Fun, fun, fun!
I wish someone would film a tv series based on Travis McGee. It would be great for those times when I need to relieve eye strain from reading.
The Jack Reacher series is very entertaining.
    😺✌️

I have read many "Abel Team" and "Mack Bolan" books years ago. I enjoyed them.

The Tin-Roof Blowdown is brilliant and the Dave Robicheaux novels are very high on my tbr list.. complete change of subject but do you know if the Kindle Oasis offers custom sorting within collections so I can order a series into publication/chronological order. Thanks for the continuous great content.

    Looking for light novels?
You might want to check out vampire hunter d.
Dark horse is currently reprinting the entire series in omnibus editions. Not sure if you would enjoy the writing style but it's over the top action with over 20 novels and counting.

Congratulations on the book haul and I was waiting for them to eventual toppling. I went to a regional library sale last weekend and they had a James Patterson table with books stacked probably a yard high. I was kind of hoping they would fall over too.

That sounds like a horror show! I’m not surprised though, my local library has a ton of Patterson

Hi Olly. From your videos, and on the recommendations of others, I really fancy reading some of the Executioner books -- but what I wanted to ask was: do I have to read them in order? Second-hand copies of some of the earlier ones -- particularly the first one -- are quite pricey, so I'm just picking up cheap copies as and when I find them (I think the earliest in the series I've got is number 3). I'm aware that book one sets up the premise, but after that does it matter whether or not I just read them randomly?

Can anyone who has read the Harlem Detectives novels by Chester Himes tell me if they have to be read in order? I know it is best to start with A Rage in Harlem but is it ok to jump around after that? Thanks.

what do you think of the potential that able team and A-team are related??

There are definitely big similarities! I think Abel Team came first
