Thanfully as a child of 1946 I grew up on a whole dairy diet. Milk, butter, and cheese along with homegrown vegetables and meat. Habits I retain to this day. ??? I have had genetic testing with the C282Y as well as many in my family. Unknowingly I struggled with many of the symptoms of HC for Years and Years before diagnosis. Dr.s thought I was Crazy. Now, at 65 female, my Ferritin is Low at 41, But everything else is High, Iron 154, Saturation at 52%, TIBC at 294, Hematocrit at 48.5. I hurt so much, I'm exhausted, I know I need a phlebotomy. The Dr I use to go to would say no, your Ferritin is fine. Thank God the Dr. I have now listens to me. I can feel it all over my body when I give blood, it takes several days, but I begin to feel so much better. Why does this not match with the Ferritin "law".

I Think there is something to that Magnetic thing~!!! Both my husband, my self, our two sons, one of my brothers, (other brother makes watches stop and radio's won't tune) probably both of our parent's, and at least one of my grandfathers all have it
