- Gigantic quantities of goods and wares move through the world’s ports every day. In this way, ports are the backbone of globalisation. Did you know that an early form of globalisation already existed in antiquity? Ports played a significant role back then. This video shows you you the conditions of ancient sea travel, how ports of Greek and Roman times looked like and who worked there.
Gigantische Mengen an Waren und Gütern passieren tagtäglich die Welthäfen. So gesehen sind Häfen das Rückgrat der Globalisierung. Wussten Sie, dass es bereits in der Antike eine frühe Form der Globalisierung gab? Häfen spielten damals eine wichtige Rolle. Dieses Video zeigt Ihnen, wie die Seefahrt in der Antike funktionierte, wie die Häfen zu Zeiten der Griechen und Römer aussahen und wer dort arbeitete.
