And here I thought I was helping out by putting my own newbieriffic video up. Devs even let me use this avatar (I asked on the twitters.) Well now I have something to strive for. Awesome video.
I decided to look up what loop 50 was like because I was curious, and I am simultaneously appalled and disappointed. One one hand, they gave all the regular enemies attack patterns not too unlike what you would expect out of monolith. On the other hand, they didn't really give the bosses the same buffs, proportionally speaking. Then again, if they did, bosses like chaos god and monolith would likely crash the game.
To most players, in most runs, Database will be an exceptionally difficult fight. Had I not been so very lucky to get such a good run overall and a good final weapon, it would've been a much tougher fight. It is by no means an easy fight, but practice and fortune were on my side.
Okey... so I guess it's not as common as some to get a super firepower here? (this just reminded me of the Witness in TOBI Antibirth, which is really hard to deal with but always killed too fast with good gears. It would be awesome and challenging if such is avoid! XD)
@@dsuahdandasuhdsa9282 Yes, it is unusual. An exceptionally fortunate run can give you the tools to smoothly destroy even the biggest superbosses. I assure you, if you try to defeat this boss yourself, you'll find that most of the time, it'll give you a rough time. Unless you've already had a lot of practice, in which case, maybe it's not so bad.
@@NIQNick by the way excuse me to ask something... is that orange fighter Database summons at last showing up with a name? I'm doing some pictures collecting and this one got me stuck since I'm taking it not as just a form of Database somehow (=_=b)
Loop number can continue indefinitely, but you'll eventually run into trouble when the game tries to generate thousands of bullets at a time. So in theory, there's no upper limit, but in practice, the game will eventually be unable to handle it.
@@NIQNickThanks. Can you show some footage of loop 100/500/ whatever you can reach with your loop picker? Just curious to see it. By the time I reach higher loops it just seems like I'm not supposed to dodge the bullets but hide from them
With sword mode, the difficulty caps out at like loop 20-30 since you can remove bullets with a sword swipe. The hard cap on loops is around 300 because the bullets basically cause the game to halt to a standstill.
>unseeded
>"The Nick Special" pulsar
more like blessed run
I won't deny that this was indeed a fortunate run.
not taking the crimson lotus was the right choice, but it was clearly a hard choice

Thanks for watching, and I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
I like this. I need the soundtrack from the DLC one. Like, really needing the new DLC songs. Cuz the original one is just publicized already lol
Meanwhile im here still unable to get past phase 1 of the monolith
Practice, practice, practice.

Don't worry. The next big update will give bosses scaling attack patterns. The devs have emphatically confirmed that.
Monolith fight was so epic...
42:21 yeah boi
holy crap THAT Secret boss is Monolith True boss! 41:20
The game's original True Final Boss. Still in the category of superboss fight after the DLC has arrived, in my honest opinion.
What do the loops even do? I can only guess make an ungodly amount of bullets come out of every orifice of any given enemy
Yeah, that pretty much sums it up.
Wait I looked up stalker memes??? Why did I get this ngl tho
absolutely insane
Gotta challenge myself somehow. :P
You're a God!
I'm just a guy who loves this game.
ohhh... you are not supposed to try to dodge those bullets in that playback phase. i feel weird right now
It's alright, it took me a while to figure out how to play that phase. No shame in struggling at first and then having someone else help you out.
@@NIQNick i actually dodged the first crazy barrage luckily but died after that...
Subterranean animism flashbacks
Ultra mode
The share x noise lmao
Wait, what...?
I`m not exactly getting the point of the database except for the ruin keeping... it just dies so easily??

@@dsuahdandasuhdsa9282 The very last phase of Database, after it displays "Playback..." actually does have its own name.
Point Zero
Is loop 50 the last one? Is there even an end to those loops?

Just a bulet hell game by now
I mean, loops do make the game silly, but that's clearly going beyond good balance, and seeing if players can make it.
