Bro i cant give you enough props on this video you broke this one figure down and the comparisons are just incredible what a helluva job on this video probably the most in depth and comparison videos ive ever seen 🤣 no lie great job you are a real deal bat fan
Really extensive look at such a highly anticipated figure! Good job on covering all the bases and looking forward to your review on Supes and their animated counterparts :)
Nice! You're the first guy to review any of the new DC McFarlane offerings. I'm only interested in getting Comic Superman, the Armored figures and The Batman Who Laughs. But after seeing your review, Batman has warmed up on me. I hope that stores here in my country would carry them fast. Great review! 🍻
@@dHuntersReviews I'm from the Philippines, man. We had terrible distribution for the Mattel lines. I'm very hopefully for McFarlane though because I've been seeing Fortnite figures in stores.
It’ll be a few days, superman next, Harley Quinn next, then Batman the animated series Batman. With working a lot of hours it will be a couple days at least.
Awesome review. Thanks for going all out with the scale/other figure lines. I was iffy on the regular versions of the characters but this seems like a more detailed version of DC Essentials. Sorta ironic that I got the DC Essentials Nightwing a few months back to scale with my NECA Batman/Superman.
Wasn’t going to pick up the Batman in the line. Thought from the promo pics that is was pretty bad. But after watching this review, I think I’m going to buy it. Thank you for the good review. Here’s a like.
Yeah, she almost looks like she should a lump in with the animated figures. I look forward to doing a review and digging deeper into her. Next superman and then her.
Good review. I was waiting for you to try other heads on the Batman body and vice a versa. I agree a cloth wired cape would really improve it quite a lot.
Man, I'm so happy the first review of McFarlane's DC figures I've seen is from you :D Edit: I wasn't expecting you to talk about how he could fit in Batmobiles and several vehicles, and thank you for really pointing out how Mattel's recent releases are way softer than these McFarlane's releases. They really delivered, they just have to work at hiding articulation a little better and sculpting some more muscles, especially in the thighs, muscular thighs really make a difference. Thank you again for taking the time to answer every possible question we could come off with.
Thanks for the review. I’m really looking forward to getting mine. It’s so great they scale well with the DC essentials. I have a Wonder Woman who will be a stand in until McFarlane makes one.
dHunter's Reviews same here. My only nitpick is that I felt they could have a bit more variety. Four Batmen and three Supermen seemed a bit excessive, but at its a nitpick and I get why. They are the two of the biggest dc heroes. I’m looking forward to what comes next from McFarlane Toys.
I have a couple Mattel Batman sets. One is the Batcave set with a computer, the other is the Wayne Manor set. It has the 60's items. The sculpture bust that flips open to reveal the red button, and the red Batphone. Also a bookshelf and some other stuff as well. But I haven't seen the one you have. Nice. Mine is based off the 60's series line-up. I love that line. The F.Gorshin, B.Meredith, B.Ward, A.West, and J.Newmar figures are so cool. The Joker as well. They all look awesome. I also got the Batmobile from that set. One of my actual good eBay buys. The Wayne Manor and Batcave were from Toys R Us on clearance for $14.99 and they came with a Batman figure as well. So I one for the Batmobile as well as the wall diorama. It is one of my favorite sets.
I have been saying, let's give love a chance, let's give McFarlane a chance. He has a 3 year contract under this license and thanks to your honest review I am satisfied that he will improve this line. Thank you so much for your time and honesty in regards to this review and please do the animated series real soon!!!🤘🏼👏🏽
@@dHuntersReviews It might not look great for awhile, but the point of it is that they will eventually warp back to be much straighter and then you can flip them back around. I was literally coming into the comment secion to recommend the same thing lol
14:38 Animated Green Lantern and Animated Batman are both taller than Animated Superman Harley is the TALLEST of them all Comic Batman & Comic Superman hardly look like they go together From what I’m seeing, this line’s biggest issue so far is consistency. The figures on their own are okay, but they don’t look like they’re even made to fit in with one another. How do you expect people to want to make a collection when none of the characters look like they go together?
Haven’t been able to dig in too deep into Harley Quinn yet, but I agree, it’s like three different lines going on, as they expand the line hopefully it will make more sense and complete collections/teams.
Even though the animated series is my favorite Batman, I picked this one up instead. I'm on a budget so I had to limit myself to two right now. While TAS Batman has better accessories, I think this one looks way better.
I would definitely choose this one over that one. This one is great, classic, standard, comic accurate, the other one is very stylized and doesn’t fit in with the majority of my collection. Still both are good figures.
Given recent releases like knightfall and the upcoming black and grey hush batman do you still find yourself appreciating this figure? Also how does he scale with rebirth or infinite frontier robin?
I love the NECA Bats and Superman from the 2-packs but...I thought they were too big already for my display.... I am going for the Batman who Laughs and the rest of his crew eventually. Also I’m sure I’ll dabble in a few I just don’t have the $$$ to go all out on another line.
@@dHuntersReviews lol I hear ya. Here is my email again. christianstorm007@gmail.com Just need a few clear shots of it laying flat so I can print it out and put it in card board. May even use plastic.

DC UC was always 6.5 inches, a scale of its own. I am happy that they will work with DC collectibles and DC direct figures. Two lines, same scale, should’ve been this way from the beginning.
TBH this is the only figure I didn't really like among the rest of this wave, but I cant wait for that AC 1000 Superman, nightwing and batgirl. I hope Mcfarlane soon releases characters as Deathstroke, Firestorm, Blue beetle and Booster gold, or Dr. fate, all in comic versions.
@@dHuntersReviews yeah dude, I wouldn't mind if it comes as a deluxe figure, a bit more expenssive but with many weapons and alt head of Slade. And yes, clayface would be awesome!
The fact that the comic Batman and comic Superman scale terribly together(Supermans head is much larger, they both have tiny legs, Supes doesnt even have double joint elbows and for some reason they have different ab joint locations) is just awful. Its like both figures were designed by two different people working seperately from each other.
Love the figure all except for the scaling- but not like ?? Other line scaling?? The in-line scaling seems pretty dang off, it doesn’t seem to have much cohesion. Batmans head is WAY smaller than Superman’s, and Harley isn’t scaled even REMOTELY accurate to either of them.
