I completely understand. I'm going through the same thing. I feel like like I'm losing everything and everything around me is falling apart. At first I got really mad at God, but I'm starting to come around, to really trust Him, not just in the good times but also in the bad, through all seasons of life.
In 2016 I nearly lost my marriage. My wife and I separated, a family member spread some nasty rumors about me cheating on my wife and dug into my life to find past sin and exposed it, to my church and act as if I was still involved in those sinful things. Durring this time, unknown to my wife and I, our children were being emotionally and verbally abused by their grandpa. I hit a massive of low point, where I contemplated taking my own life. But it was in this season of pain, I learned what it meant to really lean on and trust God and how to truly forgive. I am so thankful for that season, because God grew me and though my past sin was exposed, it became a part of my testimony. God is good, he will never forsake you, I have faith he will hold you tightly when you endure pain and he will lift you up, so your testimony will bring Him glory. I am praying for you!

Since last year I’ve lost my job, all my money/ possession, home, family, friends everything. I even lost my husband for a while. He lost his health and even his mind. God has always been there and He restored our marriage and my husband’s whole physical and mental health. Ha has healed us spiritually and emotionally! He has provided every step of the way and is guiding us. He gave my husband a job after 3 years of searching and right on time! I'm finally on the other side of it (THANK GOD!!!) and was wondering what was the purpose so looked at ur vid 3 signs the devil is tempting you (or something like that). How my heart sinks when I hear people in grief say that they will never forgive a perpetrator of bad events in our lives; or question why God did not do something to save a situation. These people ultimately end their anger or grief by denouncing the Almighty, showing they have no faith, and they no longer believe! A lost situation. Are we to question God's timing and purpose for our lives? The point is, we cannot understand his thoughts, since they are much higher than ours, so Keep the faith and thank God in all things!

I am definitely being tested at the moment. I believe my breakthrough is coming and cling to 1 Peter 5:10. Heart break is hard- especially when you truly thought they were the one and they broke up with you 2 days before your anniversary. I pray that this trial of uncertainty is turned into a testimony due to my trust and faithfulness in God. I pray the Lord will restore our relationship and continues to work on my heart, give me strength and helps me be more patient.

My life is almost completely destroyed. My mind casts me down into a pit of my failures. I'm losing my home and car. My family has cast me out cause I keep letting my depression and anxiety cost me jobs. All I can think is god save me from myself.

I'm praying for you and everyone involved. I don't know how it is affecting you and your suffering might be different to mine. My husband of 2 years did the same thing. The fallout was horrific for the family, with people blaming each other and then themselves. We had to pray and just be patient with one another's grief and I got closer to his parents than I was before his death in the end. It is a test, but God is in it with you.
I was recently tempted, well about 5 months ago. I realize what I was doing was so wrong. I noticed it was pulling me away from God. My moral code was being tested, and I would fight with myself daily. I hated this and the person I was becoming. I am a kind and sweet person, but I noticed I was always mad, upset, probably not too fun to be around. I am happy I found your channel. I know what happened was not a test, but I am so glad what happened did happen because it made me open my eyes and see what is most important.

As you said, we can grow in faith by saying "This is one of the most horrible experiences I've had. I don't know what I would do if God wasn't with me".

Amen, Amen!!! Perhaps God is asking all of us parents to be willing to let go of our children to live for Him. Sometimes our children are our idols. We place them above the will of God even though they will not obey Him or honor us. It is possible that letting go gives us an opportunity to experience greater trust in Christ as well as leaving our children to find Him for themselves.

In my limited experience, tests are what you say: benchmarks for where you’re at with trust in God. They can also be wake-up calls when I’m falling short. I’d also like to say that I believe temptations can be a part of that test, but that the temptations never come from God. I’m always amazed when I’m going through a major test and spiritual warfare simultaneously how God is working and using the situation for His glory. I suddenly become aware of God’s hands in the circumstance, and it’s then that I am not afraid, but in awe of His sovereignty, love and support in that hard place. Love the video! God bless!

Guys i need help, ive been struggling about the existence of God after knowing some kind of "simulation theory" where we live in a simulation where nothing is real and is ruinning my faith in God. Is this theory real and how do I know if God was even real? 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
so thats why before i always recieve thoughts such as "give up on God and sin forever! Become an atheist so you wont have any worries! sin more! Because God has forgotten about you. and if he has forgotten about you, you'll get away with this sins!" i always recieve thoughts such as "this is God's test, he is only testing your faith in him. please, during this test do NOT ever turn away from him. please." its as if the Holy Spirit in me knows my kind of mindset, so thats why He warns me to not do whatever thoughts i recieve such as sin, becoming an atheist and killing myself because im too tired of recieving all this thoughts. wow… this is such a relief!

When you come down to it, aren't these tests just cruel? The Book of Job has to be one of the cruelest stories ever told. And how do you know for sure that they're tests, not downright punishment? This illustrates a problem with much of Christianity. It often fetishizes suffering.

I asked my cousin, who is a catholic priest in Los Angeles. About God testing me and for the rest of the conversation no matter which direction it went he always came back to that God doesn't test anyone and that God will walk with you through a situation you have found your way into but was very clear that it really upset him when people asked why God is testing us. I can say I saw an angry almost pissed off priest and felt as if I was speaking right to Our Father. Every question I asked or situation I told him he kept coming back to how it really irked him when people say that God tests them. So remember God doesn't test anyone do not listen to this crap. God didn't put a situation there to test you. You made all the moves that landed you where you are he will walk with you as you figure your way out of it but he will never test you. I believe that and you would too and this guy would really not like to hear what a priest has to say.

I completely understand. I'm going through the same thing. I feel like like I'm losing everything and everything around me is falling apart. At first I got really mad at God, but I'm starting to come around, to really trust Him, not just in the good times but also in the bad, through all seasons of life.
In 2016 I nearly lost my marriage. My wife and I separated, a family member spread some nasty rumors about me cheating on my wife and dug into my life to find past sin and exposed it, to my church and act as if I was still involved in those sinful things. Durring this time, unknown to my wife and I, our children were being emotionally and verbally abused by their grandpa. I hit a massive of low point, where I contemplated taking my own life. But it was in this season of pain, I learned what it meant to really lean on and trust God and how to truly forgive. I am so thankful for that season, because God grew me and though my past sin was exposed, it became a part of my testimony.
God is good, he will never forsake you, I have faith he will hold you tightly when you endure pain and he will lift you up, so your testimony will bring Him glory. I am praying for you!

Job held on to God. He was confident in God and knew that he was sovereign over his suffering and would literally die if it were His will. The book of Job illustrates that all people at some point in there life will endure tremendous suffering and that we all the choice to either have confidence in God or not. The ending of the book of Job reveals God’s Grace, once again.
Life is suffering. The question is: what/who are you going to turn to? Only Christ is sufficient. God bless.

God never remains in debt to anyone, but He often repays more for what is lost, working all things together for the good of those who love him. At the end of the day, it's all about God's glory, not ours. I understand that may be difficult for a non-believer to accept, and that's okay. If God wants you to "get it" He will reveal that truth to you in time.

How my heart sinks when I hear people in grief say that they will never forgive a perpetrator of bad events in our lives; or question why God did not do something to save a situation. I am definitely being tested at the moment. I believe my breakthrough is coming and cling to 1 Peter 5:10. Heart break is hard- especially when you truly thought they were the one and they broke up with you 2 days before your anniversary. I pray that this trial of uncertainty is turned into a testimony due to my trust and faithfulness in God. I pray the Lord will restore our relationship and continues to work on my heart, give me strength and helps me be more patient.

There was a person from the Old Testament, Job. He had received every good thing in his life that God has given him. But one day, Satan heard of that Job received everything good from God. So Satan and God made a deal to see if Job would stay loyal to God or curse in God’s face by losing all he had. Yes, the tragedies and losses were emotionally upsetting. But despite the tragedy and losses that Job went through, he never gave up on God and as for Satan, well he lost the deal with God and had nothing else.
My life is almost completely destroyed. My mind casts me down into a pit of my failures. I'm losing my home and car. My family has cast me out cause I keep letting my depression and anxiety cost me jobs. All I can think is god save me from myself.
Please dont feel bad about getting professional help. Sometimes people have a chemical imbalance or something similar. I pray in Jesus name you feel better soon. My heart goes out to you.

I'm praying for you and everyone involved. I don't know how it is affecting you and your suffering might be different to mine. My husband of 2 years did the same thing. The fallout was horrific for the family, with people blaming each other and then themselves. We had to pray and just be patient with one another's grief and I got closer to his parents than I was before his death in the end. It is a test, but God is in it with you.

I was recently tempted, well about 5 months ago. I realize what I was doing was so wrong. I noticed it was pulling me away from God. My moral code was being tested, and I would fight with myself daily. I hated this and the person I was becoming. I am a kind and sweet person, but I noticed I was always mad, upset, probably not too fun to be around. I am happy I found your channel. I know what happened was not a test, but I am so glad what happened did happen because it made me open my eyes and see what is most important.
I'm going through so much even though I'm a teenager I'm losing all my friends in high school and more people that I know are dying and I'm being fed false friendship.

Wow, what an awesome video! In 2016, my grandmother passed away, and the only question I had in my head was why was God allowing such horrible things to happen. As you said, we can grow in faith by saying "This is one of the most horrible experiences I've had. I don't know what I would do if God wasn't with me".

This was so helpful to me today. I'm going through a test right now and the first thing I felt was, where is God. But then immediately I remembered what the bible said that we should rejoice in our trials. It's not easy cause it hurts, but I'm putting my faith in God to work out for my good and his Glory. Amen.

Amen, Amen!!! Perhaps God is asking all of us parents to be willing to let go of our children to live for Him. Sometimes our children are our idols. We place them above the will of God even though they will not obey Him or honor us. It is possible that letting go gives us an opportunity to experience greater trust in Christ as well as leaving our children to find Him for themselves.

In my limited experience, tests are what you say: benchmarks for where you’re at with trust in God. They can also be wake-up calls when I’m falling short. I’d also like to say that I believe temptations can be a part of that test, but that the temptations never come from God.
I’m always amazed when I’m going through a major test and spiritual warfare simultaneously how God is working and using the situation for His glory. I suddenly become aware of God’s hands in the circumstance, and it’s then that I am not afraid, but in awe of His sovereignty, love and support in that hard place.

He tested me when I was having major depression point in my life and had major harm OCD, I was walking into my kitchen to open the microwave when I saw the knives and felt an immediate drip in my stomach and felt like I was going to die, I ended up calming myself down after a while though and luckily I was fine

I am 57, and your wisdom is beyond your years. It has been three week since I “ran into” your channel and God speaks to me many times in many practical ways through your biblical insights.
When you come down to it, aren't these tests just cruel? The Book of Job has to be one of the cruelest stories ever told. And how do you know for sure that they're tests, not downright punishment? This illustrates a problem with much of Christianity. It often fetishizes suffering.

I asked my cousin, who is a catholic priest in Los Angeles. About God testing me and for the rest of the conversation no matter which direction it went he always came back to that God doesn't test anyone and that God will walk with you through a situation you have found your way into but was very clear that it really upset him when people asked why God is testing us. I can say I saw an angry almost pissed off priest and felt as if I was speaking right to Our Father. Every question I asked or situation I told him he kept coming back to how it really irked him when people say that God tests them. So remember God doesn't test anyone do not listen to this crap. God didn't put a situation there to test you. You made all the moves that landed you where you are he will walk with you as you figure your way out of it but he will never test you. I believe that and you would too and this guy would really not like to hear what a priest has to say.
