ASMR Up-Close Microphone Brushing & Rambling Whisper / House Update

- This is a bit of an experiment, with me whispering very closely to the microphone. I also brush the microphone and lightly caress it with my fingers. Let me know what you think!
You whisper is amazing even far away from the mic, but this one, up close, is incrrrrrrreeeedible! 🌛✨💫 please do more of these!
As a matter of fact, you'd better turn the stereo mode on. Without it, the brushing sounds and others except for the whispering don't give so much of an effect.

I do like the close up whisper, but I'm not a huge fan of the brushing. Sometimes it's nice, but sometimes it's (like you said) distracting. It's still an absolutely wonderful video. Thank you so much 😊
Thank you! I will probably make at least a few more of these in the future, but yeah - personally, I prefer videos without anything touching the microphone. That's just me.

Please do a bitchy pharmacist role play! I was sick last week and I had this bitchy pharmacist who was filling out prescriptions but her nails against the counter and the keyboard typing kept me zen.
she was actually nice to me bc I was waiting for my stuff but she had no patience for people asking for OTC drugs lol!!!
I worked in both retail and hospital pharmacy, and oh my GOODNESS some of those people can be hateful! Thankfully, most are not, but occasionally (especially in retail pharmacy), you run across a really grouchy pharmacist. I had to work with a few in my time. I'd LOOOVE to do a roleplay like that! :)
Marilyn V. This would be so good!! I'm a pharmacy assistant and we have to ask all sorts of seemingly random questions that might not make sense to you, but we're required to ask eg any other medication you might be taking or any medical conditions you have, if you have any allergies, whether you've had the otc product before, how often you buy pseudoephrine products, ie are you an addict, whether your asthma is under control and if you're on a preventor, what pain you're treating and so on and so on before you even get to the pharmacist! It would be so amusing to see Mary act like a bitchy pharmacist, I've had to work with a few!
Chloe Gregory this one pharmacist I was talking about have me so many tingles irl, I couldn't keep up. She was nice and kind to whoever was worthy (thankfully I was one of them haha!) but soooo bitchy to the rest. it was very amusing.

Thank you! I lost them for a while. They were buried in one of the drawers of one of my jewelry armoires. It took forever to find them. I love them because they're so unique! I think I found them on ebay.

I use your videos to fall BACK to sleep after my boyfriend wakes me up getting ready for work. He gets up at 5:30am Mon-Fri & I always have trouble getting back to sleep but you make it much easier! Thank you so much! ☺

One of my earliest memories of ASMR was my high school physics teacher. She had a lisp and she would drag out her S when she spoke. I could hardly stay awake in her class! I struggled for sure!😂

Any video where you're whispering and rambling or whispering a show and tell is right up my alley. I'm not the biggest fan of microphone brushing or touching but the way you are doing it is subtle enough so I can still hear your voice. I loved this. The close whispers were very tingly; I do like the brushing of the mic but would definitely like a video of pure whispers (if you wouldn't mind doing that, of course☺️). Also, I love your choice of nail polish. I live in SC and we've been getting nonstop rain as well. Side note, my friend and I are traveling to New York in June so we both have something to look forward to in June! Best of luck with the house; I'm super excited for you!

I had a friend in middle school that would come over and stay the night and we had to be quiet when we went to bed. Well she used to read these chapter books and I'd act super interested so I could hear her whisper all about the books until I fell asleep lol...she gave me some good ASMR

For two years this has been my go-to same video when I can’t fall asleep, and it never fails that I fall asleep so fast I never get to the part of the video where you talk about your house. The close up whispers alone could put me to sleep but the brushing is my favorite trigger and it’s heavenly. You’re awesome Mary!

15 seconds in I already had tingles. Love that your videos are normally more natural, but your whisper voice is absolutely amazing and I think it was even better with the mic so close. I personally wasn't a fan of anything touching the mic though. Oddly I actually liked watching your hand movement when you were brushing the mic, but the sound wasn't relaxing to me.

When I was in school I always had the same experience when someone would want to braid my hair (I've always had long hair down below my back) or when someone would be fumbling through a text book or a notebook!

Some of the big ASMR names have moved very far away from their basic roots, and take absolute ages to upload. Your consistency and asmr style blow me away!
I started watching ASMR videos about 4-5 years ago. At first whisper videos were almost too much for me and I stuck to soft spoken but eventually I found whispers were soothing too. I would even get tingles. Eventually I lost the tingles but I would still watch because they helped me sleep. This is the first video in years that has given me such intense tingles. Thank you!
I absolutely love the close up video part of the video, but I'm not a fan of the brushing or anything that touches the microphone directly. I have always found that sound too harsh and distracting no matter how I adjust my volume settings. However, I think that's just matter of personal preference. I know that other people love the microphone brushing, so maybe you can do both :) I would love a close up whisper about the house buying process in general and real estate maters etc. I would like to buy my first place next year and I'm just starting to learn about the process now. Thanks for all you do!

I really like the up close whisper but found the brushing intrusive. I know others like it though. Just my opinion
Maybe instead of brushing the mic, try using the brush for visual asmr like brushing the air around the frame of the camera
