I use to catch grass shrimp off the Dumbarton bridge with a DIY trap made from a plastic milk crate and screen material. During high tide we would catch lots of Leapord sharks. The fish love that fresh natural bait, it's like flashing a candy bar in their face. Lol
"Any number of hooks and lines may be used to take finfish in all ocean waters and bays except in San Francisco and San Pablo bays between the Golden Gate Bridge and the west Carquinez Bridge, where you may only use one line with no more than three hooks. Species-specific gear restrictions (such as for rockfish, lingcod and salmon) do apply when fishing from the shore."
@@JZFishing the second rod stamp is basically applicable to freshwater. Trout rods and such. But because you can basically use unlimited rods outside of the bay from shore, the bay has a 1 rod limit, unless on a man-made structure meant for fishing like a pier. Then 2 rods is OK.
I see a lot of comments below and yes, unfortunately the rod stamp only works for fresh water. I know it sucks, I bought one too with the same idea and later found out that it was useless for me lol
honestly my favorite part about the whole video was just the Drone footage 🔥
Ay thanks man!!
I believe the rod stamp only works for freshwater the bay is strictly one rod unless your from a public pier. I could be wrong
No that’s right a fish and wildlife officer told me
Nice looking video
Thanks man!
Very good video great editing...look forward to more of your fishing videos

Good to know we will give it a try sometime!
Good job guys
Thanks!
Do you go ever go to Moore rd pier since your so close or the lighthouse pier if so which do you think is a better fishing spot
Cool video, but you are incorrect about the 2 rods. There are specific regulations in the sf bay that limit you to 1 rod unless on a pier.
Really even with the extra rod stamp?

Well rip to our rod stamps lol
2 rod stamps are only good in freshwater from shore, talk to your local game warden. They will help you.
Thanks! Good to know!
I think it's a bat ray not a sting ray
Yep it’s a bay ray
