Ari --- Sin Chicken is an un-tapped market. For instance, if one is eating ghost pepper chicken wings, you want the sin chicken. The Goth have to eat and would pay premium for sin chicken. Not to mention the Santa Ria market, the product comes pre sinned.

Lol I love you ari and I know it must have been awhile for you but you got the ritual wrong. You don’t hold the chicken by the neck and you don’t waive it around until it dies.
What you do is hold it by the back of the wings and rotate it around one’s head 3 times and say you are atoned with this chicken.
It’s not violent at all and is harmless to the chicken.
After that you bring it to a designated butcher who donates the meat of the chicken to families in need on your behalf. It’s not as traumatic as you described. The feeding bread to the fish while saying a prayer is basically the same idea but a different practice, it isn’t either or.
