Thanks! This video really helped. Just installed some Biltwell Murdocks. The only thing that slowed me down was installing the clutch cable. I needed another set of hands to set the pin in.
Glad it helped! Yea that cables a pain in the ass. I believe I just used some needle nose and pulled hard as shit lol. Also I think I relieved the tension on cable
Thanks, I used your video to confirm after I put my Thrashin Risers on. I needed to see if I was crazy for running my clutch cable outside the Tree. It seems fine. I only did 6.5" risers with 1" sweep back, and it took no extensions. The initial brake line is a little tight, but not enough for issues.
Can you post a link to the upper brake hose kit or how long the brake hose is end to end? I actually make brake hoses where I work, but knowing what length you went with would be helpful. Im holding out for the FXLRS T!!!
Thanks for ur step by step video, although u claimed not to have all and or the right tolls some u managed to get it done, I k ow tolls matter but imaginations works as well, I’m waiting for my Low Rider S to arrive & I want install new risers too, where are located at keep up the good work man
Did this bike have ABS? If so , how did you fill the new empty front brake line? I'm installing 12" bars on my 2022 FXLRST with ABS and I know it is different than regular brake bleeding, just not positive on how to do it. Thanks Stan
Yes this bike had abs. So what I did was I let the line “soak” while finishing up everything else. To let it soak, I left the banjo bolts slightly loose to allow brake fluid to run thru and air to escape. Watch it close tho while working so you Don’t get fluid on any painted surfaces. After that and I was done with everything else, I proceeded to bleed the brakes normally. I had no issues.
Hey man thanks for posting. I was reading thru the comments and one guy from your state mentioned the ridiculous high $$$ HD charges. Well I’m in NC and they told me today the labor alone was 8 hrs (just over $1k mark). I almost shit. I’m w construction guy and barely hold my own on basics with bikes/cars. How long should a job like this on average take? I got the ‘22 lowrider S. Thanks for any reply.
This job in reality took me about 6 hours. Mind you I’m no professional either. Just a dude looking to save some coin when he can. Just take your time. I believe it’s easier on the lowrider s than the street bob if you decide to keep your stock bars because then you will not have to rewire anything
The cable set was actually a kit put together by Dylan at speed-kings cycle. I went in person to pick this up. If you go to their website tho and go under the electronics option, they have each individual harness extension listed. The brand for all of them is “guerilla cables”!
I don’t know the actual length on the extension harness but if you go to speed-kings cycles’s website, they have them Listed there individually. They’re made by guerilla cables! I actually went in store to purchase these and Dylan there hooked me up with a kit that he actually put together himself. I will check the length on the hose as well for you.
After rerouting the clutch cable outside the tripple tree, did you still have enough slack to turn the handle bars all the way to the right? Or did you loose a few inches of travel with the 10" risers? I was thinking of doing this. Thanks
We did not lose any travel and are still running this same setup till this day. If you want oem look tho I would suggest replacing the cable with the extended one. My buddy decided since he didn’t sacrifice function, he would replace it when he replaced the stock exhaust
He’s running the biltwell 10 inch risers with the stock bars which are between 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 inches tall. I can’t find this s exact height online at the moment. So with this set up, anywhere between 12.5-13.5 inch height. He is also 5’11

Great video! Do you got a link to the cable extension kit? I was in speed kings and couldn’t find it.
Thanks for mentioning the grip warmer cable is pre-wired.
I live in SoCal, I don’t know anything mechanics wise. You’re lucky, I wanna get risers for my 21 low rider s, but Harley charges ridiculous prices.

Very good content
But I still not sure to buy the parts for my st 😅
Any suggestions
I been researching around.
I always recommend @speed-kingscycle

Thanks Enzo. I'll do that and reverse bleed.

Link for everything but the cable set. Any chance you can link that? Or tell us what size cables we need

Did you just use a 19mm metric socket? Im from europe and dont have Any Inch“ Tools. Can I just use my 19mm?
I have a question. Can I just change the cable on the top of the brake? I'm riding the 2014 low-rider. 7:11
Thank you so much. I'm going to install the cable on the top with Street Bob Can you do it's possible, right?
Also, where did you get the harness extensions, and how long did you go on those?
