@@Ainnem to be fair, if you’re on a budget the cheapest cases are usually the dumbest looking ones covered in RGB. If you don’t care about looks then it’s a good option.
excellent video.!!!! thanks for not babbling for 40 minutes and filled with nonsense like most other videos where people either get off track or just like listening to themselves talk.
We have a winner! This dudes stuff is legit! I always appreciate listening to intelligent people. The problem is this guy is so intelligent half of what he said was over my head.
Excellent Video for those who wish to RV, and need technological assistance. This man knows his stuff, so pay attention theres a lot of informative technical in all aspects of RVing. Thanks for your help, you made decisions a whole lot easier!
This guy is definitely smart. That’s the best setup for boondocking I’ve ever seen. Expensive to get but once you have it you’re definitely set for some long stays off the grid.
Jaw dropping! This is my dream set up. I teach online and create curriculum almost full-time. Right now I'm waiting for Tesla/StarLink satellite internet to roll out across the world so I can buy an RV and live in it.
Finally someone who understands how important internet is to do it work .... This setup is great ... This was the only thing I was worried above ... Please start audible account. It's a pleasure to hear ur voice !! A good narrative notes
These are the most positive comments I’ve seen on a BTRV video or perhaps any Rv related video and I agree. Excellent content and straight to the point. I also would like to learn more about the WiFi settings for unlimited data.
Thank you JD for having this gentlemen come on and tell his story of how he got to where he is. Nice story too. And he has great tips on how to get WiFi and cell hookups. It was very good to know. Thank you both so much. Stay safe and safe travels.
Greatly appreciate you sharing your setup with us. Very useful for me as I'm very close to doing the same thing you're doing. Thanks, JD. Safe travels!
Thanks for sharing your setup! This is absolutely one of the best and informative videos I have watched! Everything is explained for extended boondocking. I will be referencing this video many times in the future!
Those are some very well thought out solutions. And you are right - tank filling/draining are the critical items when on an extended trip and/or boondocking. My choice of 5th wheel would be different though - you can get ones now with dedicated desk areas, or as I would do, get one with bunks and convert that bunk space to a nice wide desk.
WOW! WOW! WOW! You need to make more videos like this. really good info to simplify my life. I also work in the tech industry and looking to do the same you just saved me hours of research, please keep making more videos on testing, feedback, upgrads
The production values of this video are far higher than other collab types seen on this channel. As a trainer in the tech world, clearly you know how to design and deliver content in a no nonsense manner with no need for a blaring background soundtrack. The setup you have for boon-docking is exactly the model others should try to emulate for serious off grid.
Excellent video!! The water an sewage solution is perfect for our Traveling Style. I’ve ordered everything today as we have multiple trips coming up. We have spent hours looking for dump stations, especially on the East Coast.
Another good idea for a office or work area is the toyhauler or garage area because then you could fit maybe a folding table with a computer or desktop.
What a thoughtful and pleasant video Sir, you did a great job in your presentation. Thank you for taking all the time to create it. Stay safe out there.
Thank you very good ideas. With money you can do just about anything you want. The trick it's how to accomplish what you did for less money. Thank you for sharing.
I weigh RVs for SmartWeigh (individual tire weights). Had a very large Tiffin coach come for a weigh. It has 4,400 watts of of solar on the roof, and lithium batteries. Actually wasn't over any of the weight ratings, which was fantastic.
Wow!! This is an amazing set up!! I’m having a 5th wheel built right now and will definitely utilize some of these solutions. This video was so well done. Concise and informative. Very nice!!
As another full timer here with remote working requirements, I can tell you that Mofi's spoofing so that carriers are not able to discern if it is hotspot use vs cell data has caused some carriers to ban the device or outright ban sim cards found to be inside a Mofi via Mac Address. This is crap of course but a warning for anyone looking to recreate this. If you need a truly unlimited data plan ( we use 2 personally) they still exist through resellers, just be careful who you buy from. I can personally vouch for mobilemusthave.com and their AT&T unlimited plan. We use over 600gb a month to work remote without issue on this.
Wow, can I say it again! WOW! This guy knows what he is doing and has done it superbly. That solar system is too rich for my blood, but amazing. Of course one can implement a smaller scaled system. Really appreciate this post. Keep it up JD.
Best video like this I have seen. Great solutions to real issues. I am in IT as well and looking to do the same with my family. You have given me some good ideas to research. Thank you!
Not only was this so informative, it was so well presented and enjoyable and to listen to. Thank you so much for your time and effort to educate us. Liked and of course, subscribed! God bless!
I loved this video. I am planning for my full time living 2 to 3 years from now. I have researched some of this stuff have the internet done, saving money for the solar but some of the other things like the waste bladder and auxiliary water tank are things I didn’t even think about. Thank you for this video. It helps me greatly.
I am in about the same place. 24 foot camper for now, bigger truck and 5th wheel in about 3 years. Some of the tech will change but I expect much of the video will still be relevant.
@@robertd9850 I have a 40 foot 5th wheel and truck. I have the same MOFI router that he has but I still need to get the external antenna that he has. I've camped for years and I'll have to say you've done this right. Great full time solutions. Thanks for sharing. BTW, I live part time in a small community with terrible internet solutions. I currently have an unlimited cellular package witch works great so your internet solution may be better and cheaper than my current DSL solution. Thanks again.

Clearly explained, elegant solutions to genuine issues. I haven’t seen or read of anything that even comes close. Excellent work!

It all makes sense how its built and set up - it was done by an IT GUY . Its a great build I'm jealous in a nice way of course !
