If you study the Scripture passages very carefully concerning the "latter rains" they deal a mass conversion of those with Jewish heritage coming to faith. It doesn't apply to Gentiles believer. It seems that a lot of Charismatic constantly take passages applied to Jews and the land of Israel to ALL the assemblies. Well, to be fair, shouldn't dismiss that there are Amill/Postmill reformed assemblies that do this as well.

The NAR, like other cults, always have to squeeze themselves into those things that are only for Israel.... it's a really well laid out example how if you have incorrect basic hermeneutics the logical final outcome is falling into doctrines of demons....
It is fascinating how the charismatics hold the authority & position of the Holy Spirit and of Christ twisted & backwards, just like the Catholics do with Mary, the "saints", and their pope.

The Latter Rain movement started in the Sharon Orphanages in North Battleford, Saskatchewan in 1947. I cannot understand how it moved to the USA. In 1947 nobody in the USA paid attention to Canada. They still do not.

It didn't. It's a complete oversimplification. Ideas and doctrines are bounced around constantly in church history. Holly is basically making a mountain out of a theological molehill with huge leaps in logic.

Problem is alot of these teachings have spread into some Charasmatic churches in the UK.
