I deal with uncontrollable body odor too, but I'm not sure if it is TMAU 2 or not. It started in 7th grade one day when I put on this lotion that made me smell bad and everyone began talking bad behind my back about it.
Ever since then, I became self-conscious about how I smelt and I would try all these different things and nothing would work. Although it started off just because of the lotion, it worsened over time to where I didn't even know what the problem was and people were loudly and still clearly saying that I smelled bad. I would try all these different things and nothing would work. The reactions from people in my school kept getting worse and worse and eventually I fell into depression because of the people's comments. I began taking 2 showers a day and would scrub my skin until it was raw and it hurt. I spent a good amount of the money I would receive from my father ( in total it had to be over $1000 from 7th to 8th grade since I would get $100-300 at a time every few months ) on body care products and supplements that I hoped would help. Each and every time, I thought the products helped a little but it still returned to me getting comments from others.
After some research, I figured I had TMAU type 2 or a condition of that sort because nothing I tried helped. The smell was coming from something internally.
The 2 years of 7th and 8th grade were the worst years of my life. I felt drained and desperate from putting all the faith and hope I had left into the supplements and products others with TMAU said helped them only to still smell bad. I began to fall into deeper depression.
Who would love a person who always smelled bad? Who would want to be their friend? What guy would want to date me or in the future marry me? What manager would keep me as an employee?
It got to the point where I was contemplating cutting myself and I remember being in the bathroom with a razor. I was thinking of doing it, but there was this strong feeling in my heart that kept me from it. And I remember it so clearly, it was this strong feeling of hope in my heart that helped me to keep going.
Little did I know, that hope was Jesus.
I know this is probably unexpected and it was for me too because I wasn't Christian nor attended Church and neither was I thinking about God. But the hope in my heart that kept me going was Jesus and it was from Jesus.
Now, I am happy and actually very excited to go to school tomorrow (for 2nd day of 11th grade) knowing that I am more than this condition and that God has a purpose for me, and that this life is only temporary with eternal life being next!❤️
I hope you guys find hope and a solution to your conditions too and if you're willing, I believe that it is in Jesus that you can find hope and purpose and true life.
How to be saved:
-Pray to Jesus and ask for the forgiveness of your sins and for Him to come into your heart
- Repent of your sins and begin getting to know what Jesus did for you more through reading the Bible and praying.
- Go to Church to grow in your faith and become friends with other believers!

There is a UA-camr who said she did not start to suffer from this until she took and antibiotics called Cipro.

I have TMAU also, the odor come from my feet not the mouth.
I get the odor when i eat food like: Meat, Egg, Fish, milk, yogourt, or anythink that come from animals.
when i stop eating any food that come from animals the odor goes away like in 2 week.
The odor varies depends on the food that i eat.
when i eat "sweet food" i get a strong foot odor,
when i eat "any food that come from animals" i get the fish odor, but on my feet not in the mouth.

Can you have tmau and not smell the odor yourself??? I get reactions and I don't smell anything. It really confused me.

You can not detect the smell due to your body it self is amanating the odor from your skin, mouth and nose.
I can almost never detect the odor myself although there are rare occasions when I’m in a building or in my car and as soon as I step outside I get brief whiff of it.
I occasionally get a wig off my breath. I used to smell it when I got back into my car and sometimes just in talking. But not to the severity of others. Others may step back or cover their noses for protection. It's shocking and overwhelming, somewhat like sniffing smelling salts.
@Blue Bird It's because they're nose blind. Tmau does not cause allergic reactions; you just smell.

I saw something online a while ago where someone mentioned this. A guy needed a liver transplant for other health issues and the transplant ended his TMAU. The liver transplant list is already long as fk and there's no way a doctor would give us new livers.

I have Trimethylaminuria as well as Aromatase excess syndrome. Here is
how I treat this im myself it works for me I have no detectable bad
smells anymore, im 43 it took me decades of experimenting to figure out a
working protocol for myself. I take 2000 mg of activated charcoal 3x
per day once when I get up once mid day one when i go to bed. Also I
take 4 target brand Fiber gummies 3x per day at the same time. I use
Nu-Salt Potassium based salt and never eat sodium based salts. I only
eat 2 meats ever they are chicken without skin and 99% fat free ground
turkey. I only eat from 1 pm to 6 pm daily. I never eat eggs, red meats
fish seafood , milk products etc. And I do mean never! I dont drink
alcohol of any-kind. I avoid all sugars but use equal fake sugar. I eat
lots of potatoes and corn but only in natural forms. I dont eat any
nuts or beans of any type. No soy or soy products. My diet is very
restricted and I never go out to eat. I do drink coffee and tea. I can
eat any kind of fruit. I eat a tons of apples and figs and cherry's and
plums all of which i grow. I have written down everything I have eaten
for the last 15 years. In my 20s I was very depressed and had given up.
Once i got dedicated to beating this life got better and livable. Also I
used to be in the 300lbs range but have been under 200 now for 13
years. It alot of work at first but nowadays its just routine. I have no
detectable odor under this protocol. This is a lifestyle not a cure. I
slipped up 6 months ago and had a steak cooked in butter, it was Wagyu
so I figured lets risk it. Within 12 hours I could smell some odor from
myself. It took a few days back 100% on the protocol to get back to
smell free. I have friend who also has Trimethylaminuria he literally
only eats 5 things chicken, lettuces, popcorn, fruit and sweet potatoes.
He drinks many drink types which are full sugar. He also has no
detectable smell and he is a hippie looking guy who only baths about
every 4 days or so. He does not take any supplements except a few
various gummy vitamins. He is very thin about 140 at 5 foot 10 or 11.
One thing is that just because you smell bad it does not mean you have
Trimethylaminuria. Tons of other things can cause bad smells. The only
way to know you have it for sure is to get a real test for it. The test
is a urine test and its hard to find places that can do it. They look at
your urine and see if you have trimethylamine in it. The key is to no
put any foods into your body that contain trimethylamine or that make
your body produce trimethylamine. If you actually have Trimethylaminuria
your body cannot break down trimethylamine. This disease is genetic so
both of your parents must have it or at least carry the gene for you to
get it. If you actually have this then you will smell worse based on
what you eat. Your body has no ability to break down trimethylamine so
the more that goes into your body the more you will smell. Try my
protocol for a few weeks its not really that hard in the long run. I
know it will work for anyone who actually has Trimethylaminuria. If
there is no trimethylamine in your body then you will not smell its
simple science.

@@timon9306 Nope im 44 still doing the same protocol. Only change is that I alternate days on the activated Charcoal. One day i take it the next i do not. I was getting some acid reflux and the taking less has helped.

The video is eye opening to me, I notice people covering their nose or making faces at me. At work am isolated, even when they want to be my friend, is hard for them. Am 43yrs old, this smell started 2019, started taking kefir and kombucha or fermented cabbage and pickle. I stopped eating fish, meat, onions , garlic, fresh cabbage, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, some spices ,eggs, a little chicken once in a while. Pls can you put a list of food we can take? I included zinc tablet. I also was tested for fatty liver. I need help please, have been called or kind of names.

Look up Mtfhr as well. It’s a genetic gen that can’t activate folate. An enzyme issue.

One minute you’re fine and the next you start to stink of sht, fish, eggs or sewage in public and on the bus. I have baths almost daily and hygiene is perfect but still stink. Can’t stand loud mouths on the bus when they complain. Instead of wearing a mask, moving or opening a window they need to be a loud mouth.

The reason why this disease is lonely is that even the closest family members do not understand. Obviously, people around me react and my family feels it, but they don't tell me honestly. It's even worse for me not to be honest because I'm afraid it will hurt me.

@Hayley Paige I try to force myself to eat a lot more green vegetables, it helps but with my living situation now I can't take up a real healthy diet, I know my problem isn't a chemical imbalance problem because I get pain and hemorrhoids chronically but when I have a ton of fiber but only certain types (green) it helps a lot

@@captainkapalot9644 I think doctors lie to dismiss patients, they will likely never help anyone who works for a living because there's no guarantee they will get paid in full, I have to put off seeing a doctor again because support takes around 50% of my income with taxes and I need to have major repairs on my car so today I'm just going to buy a bunch of food loaded with fiber and see if that helps at all, I suffer also from hemorrhoids since about the age of 12 so over 20 years and constipation. I do also get diarrhea constantly to that leads to hemorrhoids so I doubt it will cure me.

You have TMAU not because you are dirty, you are just lucky.
: At home or in your personal & private space let the odour out freely, don’t control or block it. And in social situations use deodorants & antiperspirant (commercial/regular ones, if u r not comfortable with chemicals on products, don’t worry occasional use is fine, also try using natural deodorants like soda, apple cider vinegar, alum bar or powder, lime/lemon juice etc whichever is available at your place. For now Take them as solution/cure to the problem provided by God. At this stage it is not yet 100% curable. Just hang on a little longer.
Also research more about the cause, what’s going on, what’s wrong, what is it etc....it helps when you have more knowledge about it !
