In the 199394 season, I seem to remember that Norwich played better away from home than they did at Carrow Road
Back in the 199394 season, the UEFA Cup final was a 2 legged home and away match.

Dont know why I thought of this game but it popped into my head whilst I was speaking to someone about the early 90s and I thought I would check it out. I follow The Arsenal but that day me and everyone else was a Norwich fan (maybe not those in Ipswich). Norwich were immense that year, think the san siro applauded them off the field as well and of course, Goss against Bayern. Lovely little team back then.

You were unlucky to lose this one. Bergkamp who became the greatest player I personally ever saw in an Arsenal shirt had a storming season in the UEFA that year, think he scored about 8 goals and they ended up winning it if I remember. Apart from that he did nothing for them. Incidentally enough im off to the Grove to watch you lot on Saturday. Good to see you back in the top flight, Carrow rd was always one of my favourite grounds and had a cracking day out earlier this season. Stay lucky.
We were rubbish and we definately got away with it! Squeky bum time for champions league place now. Drank with a few of your lot on Holloway Road, as I say mate, cracking little club and Paul Lambert has you playing some decent stuff. Good luck for next season fella.
thanks mate, the only English club which remained in Europe. were unlucky to lose to Inter but they had too much european experience, I guess the same can be said of Arsenal more recently in comparison as they have a great little team now but AC had too much for them this year. Unfortunately, the silver was sold off from Norwich also similar to Arsenal selling their players before their contracts run out. Arsenal have still managed to box above their weight though and compete with the big boys.
Goss was the man of the UEFA cup run - unfortunately a lot of the NCFC players were suspended from the 2nd leg otherwise I think we wouldve caused another shock like when we mugged Bayern off!!!
what a great game at the Emirates that was. For the neutral that must've been a great game to watch, dunno about City and Gunners fans though!!!
Norwich frightened the shit out of Inter.....very unlucky....Goss played a blinder from what I remember.
