Honestly, as far as card games go, this game kind of does everything correctly. I’ve been waiting for a card game like this. Every tcg I’ve seen has always had something that I didn’t like about it. This game seems to check every box
I'm glad people appreciate this games efficiency when it comes to the idea of damage as resource.
SO many games give you jackshit when you take damage, but here it can really turn the tables.
Other games give you card advantage when you take damage, this is fine too as having more cards means more options which is nice.
The japanese definitely know how to make fun and functional trading card games.
Look at these hand models! Digging the step animations.

You are correct! I noticed that when playing a different game afterwards but forgot to note that in the video. Sorry about the confusion! Still learning! Thanks for pointing it out though!

Quick question guys, let’s say my opponent activates a flash effect and then I respond with a flash effect. Does my work like yugioh with chain links or does my opponent flash effect need to fully resolve 1st before we move on my card effect.
Unfortunately, no. There are no . Flashes are instant speed and resolve as soon as they are activated and there are currently no counter spells in the game (but hopefully they are added eventually). So if your opponent flashes, you must resolve that effect first and then you are able to flash yourself.
Nebula needs lvl 2 for it's extra damage. You could have just put the extra cores on it instead of nova and still won but yeah
Yeah, I realized that was a misplay after rewatching the video, but you're right. I could've had lethal regardless.
Ngl I was searching for a good battle video of BSS to see how it plays and this was exactly what I was looking for. I like the simplistic yet complex way it seems to play out. I'll deff check this out and probably grab a deck when I hit my local shop up next Friday. Thanks for the help mate!

@20:21 the purple player didnt draw 4 cards from his nexus effect? because he destroy the 4 spirits with core reduce?
Correct! I actually point that out at 26:08. We were both still new and noticed the misplay too late. He was supposed to draw due to the nexus, but we didn't notice. Thanks for commenting!

We shuffled before the match recording starts and we shuffled between game 1 and 2. I just edited it out!

It's pretty balanced actually..
This game is very balanced so far. And the spoilers from set 2 so far dont look like they are going to break anything. Every color is getting some good stuff
Yeah. After playing it every day for the past 3 weeks I can say that each color has something that it does very well and the ability to mix colors is seamless. Red just gave me the impression of being broken because of the cheap destruction and draw power that it has but white and purple have really strong characteristics to help slow down aggro to crawl and turn the game into a more midrange style of play.
