What did you do with the strap at the front?
It goes around the handle bars. In case the bag ever come unattached to the tank. It's the safety strap.

@beethekay it has saved my bag once. I didn't fully attach correctly once and it fell off on the freeway. The strap saved my bag and all my camera gear.
