Yes there are three separate eye problems: dark circles which where the service is flat but dark, baggy eyes which are fat deposits caused by weaken muscles around the eyes which allow fat to slip in under the eye. And puffy eyes which is fluid retention under the eye. Dark circles is the easiest to deal with as the surface is flat. Baggy eyes can be the hardest but if you have the money and are not opposed to surgery you can have them removed. Puffy eyes in some ways is the hardest to treat as the surface is not flat so covering it up does not help and you can not remove fluid via surgery. Caffeine products for under the eye can work well.
I like Caffeine products for exactly that reason too. I never struggled with puffy eyes until I reached my 40s, now every late night shows there immediately.
I bought it! But I can't wear it at night for I sleep on my face so anything on my face ends up in my eyes. And I can't wear it in the day because my eye area is greasy. Can it help the morning puffiness of my nose?
You could try, but it will probably be less effective around the nose as the skin there is thicker as the one around the eyes. I would be curious to see how it works out though. Have you tried it on the eye throughout the day? It is really lightweight, so it might work even with greasy skin.
Anna! Thank you for your energy and knowledge put into your videos! It is absolutely easy to understand while laconic. I am sure, you helped many people (including me) sharing trusted information☺️
I don't have much puffiness, but when I apply it after crying, it prevents the puffiness that usually appears, and if my eyes are puffy, it brings it down within the hour.
Hello is it ok to use the inky list Retinol anti aging serum on my face also under my eyes with the Caffine eye cream at the same time in my night time Routine
hello! So i just bought the caffeine eye cream by inkeylist as well. I have very sensitive skin. I watched another youtube video saying 1% more caffeine can block the production of youngness looking skin. Can you clarify this for me please & thank you!
I don´t know what you mean by "production of youngness looking skin", but I assume that it refers to a concern that too much can lead to constriction of the blood vessel with low oxygen and consecutive ageing. If that is what you mean: I wouldn´t worry about that, I don´t think it is an issue with topical products.
That depends on the reason for your irritation and redness. Eliminating the cause will be more effective than introducing new products - they might even make things worse if you react to something that is inside them.
That depends on the cause. It won't be able to counteract massive fluid retention, allergic reactions and such, but at least for me it counteracts the swelling that comes the morning after a long crying session at night.
Hello Doctor, I have these question, can I use this product if I have 23 years old ? And the other question is: can I prevent fine lines with this product ? The other question is: what product you recommend me or which product is better for me? caffeine the inkey list, caffeine solution the ordinary or Yerba matte gel the good molecules ? Greetings from Ecuador 🇪🇨
Yes, you can use the product at any age. And no, you can‘t prevent fine lines forever, but you can make them appear less visible with this one. I have not tried the Caffeine Solution from The Ordinary, but I do like both this one and the Good Molecules one and think either works fine. I personally prefer the one from The Inkey List, but that is just personal preference.
That depends on the reason for your dark circles. If they are mainly hyperpigmentation, retinol is fine. If they are more puffiness and blood shining through, caffeine will help. But overall you won‘t be able to see a huge difference with topical skincare.
Hi! I bought it thinking it has retinol. I don’t have dark under my eyes but I have little expressions lines that I want get ride off, so this caffeine eye cream will help me?
I have got a really sensitive eyes..retnol really cause be burns... And right now I'm using this one...please suggest me a eye serum that can sooths my eye area skin
You mean both eye creams in the mornings? It would be safe, but retinoids are recommended to be used at night, as the retinol can be UV sensitive, and both would probably be too much anyway.
But wait, why do we have to be over 25 to use it? I am 24, and was kind of looking forward to using it.. Is it best if I don't? Or are there are other products more suitable for me? I also struggle with puffy eyes and dark circles..
You don´t have to be over 25, you can use it at any age. I just mentioned the age range because I have 12 year olds asking me about peels and retinoids. Basically: If you feel you need it, you can use it, no matter your age.
There are different reasons for dark circles, and most can't be helped with skincare, but it might help if it is due to blood shining through the skin. I have a video on eye creams where I touch on dark circles that you might want to watch.

Hello Doctor! Just to let you know I love how humble and genuine you are so I feel really comfortable to share my query with you. My mom who is 38year old now is having the problem of dark circles and a bit of puffiness under her eyes. Her dark circles are really prominent. No one in our family has any sort of issues with that but when any stranger or even the parlour artist points that out, it gets on my nerves since I love my mom so much. That’s why I’m on the quest to find the best under eye cream for her in a budget(being a student myself). So can you tell is the Inkey list i-brightening cream better or should I go with the caffeine one or you can suggest any other better cream in this budget? Can you please please also suggest one or two home remedies for her as I am concerned for the chemicals. Please do answer my query kind ma’am. It would help me and my mom a lot. I am waiting for your kind response doctor. Much Love.
First of all I think it is lovely that you care that much about your mother. I think this eye cream would be a great one to try, but to be honest, topical creams won't do much for dark circles if they are really prominent. My recommendation would be to invest in a corrector as this is the best way to make the dark circles less noticeable. As for home remedies I am not the right person to ask: Everything is a chemical, from the air that we breathe to the food that we eat, and man-made chemicals are usually safer than natural concoctions. Cosmetic sold by reliable companies is safe to use and has less irritation potential than DIY solutions. That is my belief, which is why you won't find any home remedies on my channel.
@@DoctorAnne Ma'am I was waiting for your reply since yesterday and I am so glad that you reached out to me. That really helped me a lot. Actually I never knew a lot about the manmade chemicals and your message was actually an eye-opener for me. You are really sweet. Thank You So So Much❤❤
And Ma'am corrector as if? I couldn't understand that. I am a 16 year old and don't know much about these stuffs. Can you please recommend one budget corrector?(Is it the make up colour corrector?)
@@saswatimishra4563 Yes, it is a makeup color corrector, usually more peachy than concealer. You are supposed to avoid rubbing and tugging at the skin, which can mean tapping if the formula is thicker or gliding over the skin with your ring finger and minimal pressure if the formula is as light as this one.
It works well on skin of all ages. The added peptides make it attractive for more mature skin too, but the hydration and the depuffing are something that is great no matter your age.
I don´t say that very lightly, but this one is really a miracle for my under eyes. Have your tried it yet?
I have it and I keep it in the fridge so it's cool when I used it...I also use The Ordinary caffeine solution for eyes, it's like an oily solution

@Jenna Smith It is hydrating, so it will help plump fine lines and wrinkles. Deeper lines will not be affected by skin care.
This is the only product that’s made a difference in my dark circles. Holy grail product for me.

Doc, is it okay to use this product under Paula’s Choice BHA or The Ordinary Niacinamide serum? Thank you so much. I love your videos.
Yes, but technically that shouldn't happen - I would not put a BH serum near my eyes, and that one is an eye cream.
Hello is it ok to use the inky list Retinol anti aging serum on my face also under my eyes with the Caffine eye cream at the same time in my night time Routine
That depends on your skin. I usually only use retinol products made specifically for the eyes around that area.
Does it iritate the eyes? Also does it have fragrance? Also do you know what the ingredients are?
No, it doesn't irritate my eyes, and yes, I know what the ingredients are, and I list them in the video/ corresponding blog post.

If you have eczema around the eyes, you should see a doctor to figure out the cause and possible treatment options.

I have not tried The Ordinary Caffeine Solution, so I can´t comment on that, but I don´t see a problem.
