Ported Husqvarna 375 XP

- First test drive on a freshly ported Husqvarna 375XP. It is actually a 372xpw top end (Husky's factory big bore 372 - ), intake boot, carb., and air horn fitted to an otherwise 372 XP X-Torq.
We are working in the backyard on a second growth redwood that leans right toward the house. We had cut trees on both sides, as well as the front of the house already day lighting the property. This project provided power lines, roads, and many structures to miss with some of the shots being relatively tight. We managed to get all the trees down without mishap.
This saw is currently for sale as a power head only. Comes with large aftermarket bucking spikes as well as the heavy duty clutch cover.
I'm currently available for port work. If you are in need or want to try something new shoot me an email.

Thanks Jack, Praise God for your testimony.
Glad to see you back Jack! Some of the most skilled cutting I have seen. It is a blessing to hear you give glory to the Lord! Hope everything has been ok.
Good to see your healthy as well.
Thank you for posting videos again danger_cat.
Hi Jack, glad to watch another fine video of yours on my lunch break. The 375xp is my favorite go to saw, but I think it's got the power to pull full comp chain without going to full skip. I like the beard too, keep the vids coming. Be well.
Lacking power is not the reason he runs full skip chain, I can assure you sir.
Dude!!! It's good to see you're making videos again!!!
Hadn't seen anything from you in quite a while, I was hoping nothing had happened to you. I really enjoy watching your falls and hearing your tuned saws.

Good looking saw. What do you think about the new Oregon light weight bars?
+Jack Pennick Jack hi. I was in on the testing 15 years or so years ago of the first 100 and had two. They are the lightest that I know of, and have the least lateral stiffness because of it - so your chain better be sharp. My thoughts now and then. Great if you have a lot of limbing, the ground is super gnarly, or you are in a tree. Not as durable as the Tsumara, Stihl, or Sugihara so they do not seem to last as long.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the info. Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming. I've learned a lot from your videos.
what exactly does ported mean?
Cameron Crane hope you figured it out by now
damn that saw pulls nice, that's a 32" ?
Yes.
is the carb different on the XPW compared to the non XT 372?
Honestly, I have never seen a non XP (I think you mean XP not XT?) 372 on the Westcoast. There are variations on the 371/372 carburetor. Of the XPWs that I have worked on, they share the same epa version carb as the 372XP from the same time period.
Thanks for watching.
yea I mean XP because the XT has the strato situation going on which is a completely different intake than the XP. so I was wondering if the XPW carb is bigger than the normal XP carb. disregard the XT carb becasue it has 2 chambers because of the whole strato thing.
What were you using to sight the tree?
+advenseeker My plumb off the sites on the saw.
Thank you awesome videos man
