Wanna do this job in less than half the time? I just installed this system on my 2022 RAV 4 XLE hybrid without removing the bumper. Remember, the reflector is just plastic with no wires. I took a screwdriver, popped out the notched side of the reflector. The reflector broke in half (so what? you aren't gonna reuse it ). I broke the the reflector again until the only thing showing was the screw attachment. I removed this with a drill, screwdriver and exacto knife or anyway else you think might work. There was a small plastic bump protruding outward on the notched side. I removed it w/ an exacto knife. Drill a hole in the middle of the plastic bumper where the wires will thread through. Feed about 1 ft. through this hole. Then remove the bottom 10mm bolt under the plastic cover (both covers can be seen in about 1:09 into the video, just to the inside of both tail lights.) You will eventually remove the upper two bolts also in order to remove the taillight. Removing this bottom bolt will allow you to pull the plastic bumper out just enough to retrieve the wiring from the light (I used part of a wire coat hanger w/ a hook on one end.) Next follow the video until the wiring hook up is complete. Then take rubbing alcohol, clean the back of the light as well as the surface it will attach to. Then take 3M double sided tape to secure the light to the bumper..believe me, it won't be going anywhere. At some point before the final 3M attachment, you might want to test the lighting functions out.

I have those on headlights and taillight wires of my 07 tacoma for last 13 years without any issue but yes, I waterproofed them with clear silicone.

Here is my latest update: These lights disabled my car's collision detection and cruise control system w/errors on the dashboard. Those systems are linked directly and indirectly to the brake lights. These lights interfere with the brake system when they malfunction such as when the water penetrated into the light's housing. Toyota won't touch my car until those lights are removed.
It seem your car has alot of problem or you didn't do it right especially since the beginning you're already complaining about it telling people not to install it. As far as I know people messaging me about it never had an issue. So I'm starting to think that either you hate the product or just simple hating it. But anyway you can always upload a video showing to people on what you're saying is true. Anyway thank you for commenting 😀
@@WhatzsProduction Actually those LED lights were functioning as advertised despite the water condensation in the LED housing. But the condensation was causing a short in the electrical system; which in turn causes the collision detection system to shut down. The collision detection system will apply the brakes if a collision is imminent. And if it thinks the brake light is not functioning properly, it won't automatically apply the brakes. The dashboard errors went away after those LED lights are disconnected.
I'm having same issues, mine soon as headlight on all of those errors start popping up, once I remove those lights no more errors, back to normal.

I have them in my rav4 2006 you can also do the signal light to I know I did mine like that

Maybe you have a turn signal light its a same process you just gonna connect the wire for the turn signal for the fourth wire
Or if you don't like a turn signal option you don't need to connect it anyway it's gonna be fine

Don't buy these LED lights with the AMOPA brand name. Those LEDs have water condensation inside the light. AMOPA told me that their LEDs need heat ventilation. This implies that these AMOPA lights are NOT waterproof. Their recommendation is to remove the light to "air it out" ... as if removing the rear bumper to do this is a 2-minute ordeal.
Really Its been my car like 6 months and no condensation or any problem so far and this is the best cheap LED light I install on the rav4

The clip is easier but it will fail.
Why would you say that I been using it for years and it never failed on me maybe you using it in the wrong way?
This is a pretty dumb idea. Those reflectors are there for a pretty good reason. There have been many times I've followed vehicles with malfunctioning tail lights, and the reflectors were the only thing that kept me from running into them. I think I'll just leave mine alone, thank you very much.
