As a newbie barterer, the idea of settling Illiya storage as a center of bartering is one of the best tips I've ever learned so far. Also, collecting all goods until the storage is full then do the double Hakoven run is very useful! Thank you!
Parley refresh = Crow's Trade Voucher = Manufacture -> Item Collection Increase Scroll . This helped me the most to finish my all my trades without refresh and get my trades count up very fast
Blue I love your content, especially your sailing and bartering content as I am a bartering enjoyer myself, recently built my Advance first obviously thanks to your older Boat guide!
For Hakoven Island I made a 2nd Caravel, Corsair and I just leave it there and pick up stock from Ancado Inner Harbor. I have had up to 6 barters in a row where I didn't have to sail at all. Just login to 2nd barter character, do the barter for CC then swap back to Main barter character. Takes longer to load between characters than it does to complete those barters.
Nice Guide, I made bartering the lasst weeks also. What I did was to use a epheria sailboat & frigate together. I upgraded the frigate for self-firing. with the sailboat I made the bartering tours & quests in ilya. The frigate I placed at oquilas eye and do the sea monster quests. This way I could upgrade the sailboat to caravelle very fast, what is essential for effective bartering. I play on console.
I honestly think sailing is probably the best lifeskilling content in the game, it can be done semi afk, it has some active ways to progress, it's rewarding enough, and its cool and fun. I definitely wish they would make all of the life skills better, idky this game is so against like missions or open world objectives, im not talking about the basic quests that are boring and usually more annoying than anything, i mean dynamic events or area specific objectives. What if when you're sailing every week 10 groups will be randomly spread across the sailing islands where barters are done and you can run into them whil batering and you either give them some of your materials or you have to do a short activity on that island that gives you a bunch of random useful loot. Imagine going to an island to barter but you didn't take them down so they want your stuff, so you get off your ship and hunt down all the "gangs" leaders on the Island and then have a boss fight where you get a bunch of loot akin to rift bosses. That would make these islands way cooler even if you aren't into bartering. They could make tons of little activities like that, they could give you cool ship skins or ship upgrades and basic materials for your character like rift bosses it would be cool. It's like they have these really cool ideas but they never take them all the way, they kinda just half bake them and move on
Marooned on an uninhabited (habited now) island in the middle of Margoria sea. Sailboat sank with all the trade goods I bought with the money I'd loaned from the Calpheon Merchants Guild (Good luck trying to find me now, Ljurik). Only things I have with me is a crate with 30 days worth of Valencia meals (I'm badly allergic to teff), my trusted parrot Schrodinger (who knows how to speak, but chooses not to) and a broken into three pieces navigation compass (how do I put it back together?). Great guide 10/10. Would recommend. Thank and nice.
I know this video is 3 months old but after all my time in BDO, I decided I wanted to try sailing and bartering. In my three years of playing BDO, my Bartering is zero and my sailing is only Apprentice 9. With all that said, I like the idea of a Corsair alt. Here is my question: back in the day it was advised to stay under level 50 with a sailing alt to avoid being ganked; is that still the recommendation, or can the sailing alt break level 50? Thanks for any feedback.
Had no trouble killing the sick sea monsters near velia shooting my cannons manually. Was a little tedious but it can be done. On console if it makes a difference.
With manos accessories market crash I think that bartering for crow coins if you want raw silver is a waste of time. Just selling your T5s is the way. The crow coin shop needs a substantial buff.
Max boat weight is not 25100 its 27300. Yellow weight crystal and 5 parrots (4x T4 1xT5) You lose a little speed but being able to do a full T1-T2 is pretty nice. Cant quite get a full 10x T2 to T3 unless you ditch all sailors though.
I always feel so judged by anything you say but i actually don't know if I want to go Valor or Volante bc idk if I wanna stick to pve or join pvp later... What do you recommend?
okay well i bought a max carrack from afk fishing for a week. i have no gear tho so im trying to do sailies iwth my carrack that has no gear. make a guide for that buddy thanks
About around 1b a day if you do 3 item refreshes. Bartering isn't really a good way to make money, but you can do it while working from home or semi-afk. You can get a lot more, but you have to be really lucky, I once got a garmoth heart for like 2b worth of gold bars
GUYS IMPORTANT ADVICE: DON'T DO THIS CONTENT, IT'S NOT WORTH IT, NOT ENOUGH MONEY PER HOUR, YOU'RE WASTING YOUR TIME, IF YOU BECOME A SAILOR BECAUSE OF BLUE DRAGON HE'S TROLLING YOU, AND HE DESERVES TO BE BANNED AND BLOCKED ASAP, REMEMBER THIS IS A RACE, NOT A MARATHON, HE WANTS TO WIN THE RACE BEFORE YOU, THAT'S WHY HE'S TRYING HIS BEST TO MAKE YOUR PROGRESSION SLOWER, OK THANK YOU PS: THIS IS NOT A TROLL COMMENT, IM REALLY SERIOUS, THIS IS GONNA SLOW YOUR PROGRESSION BY A LOT, LIKE FOR REAL A LOOOOOOOOT
you buy low sell high, everybody ignores boat content, but when they inevitably introduce some endgame stuff that you can only acquire thru sailing, ayayay where is ur carrack now
I thought people did sea content because they liked it, not because that would make them geared af... At the end of the day what matters more: having fun or forcing yourself to grind just to get more gear to grind better?

Idk if it's limited or something but in the pearl shop, the storage at illiya is also cheaper than most other areas
As a new player in bdo love evrything about you dear keep it up you doing an amazing job to help others understand this beautiful game :D
Perfect timing I just started bartering 6 days ago

I will absolutely consider it. That kind of guide would require me to go out and do each of them which would be interesting
@@bluesquadronlive Sounds awesome man!
Just got my frigate and needed this desperately. Appreciate the insight Blue 🤝🏼
Oh damn it... I just watched the 11 months 3 hours long video yesterday. And it just get updated. XD

Great video keep up with the guide🎉

There are 5 grades of Sea Crystals...
Final grade is a Red one and is considered a Treasure Item hehe :)

Next patch: We announce new bartering changes
On god.

well the volante is a solid choice if you are on the fence, but I still recommend the advance into building a volante second.
okay well i bought a max carrack from afk fishing for a week. i have no gear tho so im trying to do sailies iwth my carrack that has no gear. make a guide for that buddy thanks
Those who had Balanced is either the OG of ocean coz they got all the ship already , or the "chosen one" who not suppose to play BDO.

how much silver can you expect from bartering currently?
