Huh, this actually sounds pretty accurate to the original, even with the limitations of the NES AND the different instrumentation! Pretty nice job! Its always pretty nice to see Famitracker covers, and yours is no exception.
Someone tell me why this guy isn't internet famous. Please! I've heard some great FamiTracker pieces, but none even stand a chance against this one. You have definitely earned yourself a sub!
+ComputerCraze Oh hahah, thanks a lot. I'm actually fine with my current status in the community but it would be nice if more people knew my stuff. I've definitely gotten more overall views than I expected though!
RRThiel The module is probably only 29 KB because a lot of frames repeat along the song (pay attention to the frame editor!), and there's barely any instruments: 3 blanks (one for each expansion), 1 simple noise with only a short volume sequence, and 1 fade-in instrument, also with only a short volume sequence. The newest FT beta (0.5.0) seems to save smaller modules too. I didn't even notice this one was that small until you pointed it out lol.
It seems the latest beta version (0.5.0 beta 5) destroys a few aspects of this song due to some changes on the 5B expansion. I'm thinking about reworking this once 0.5.0 stable comes out.
***** Good to know that you like it! Also it probably is slower, I haven't compared directly. What I'm 100% sure of is that this cover lacks the skippy tempo of the original song, but it would have been hard to replicate anyway. :P
For old FamiTracker this was more complicated as you had to export a module through text export, modify the EXPANSION number (make it the value of 5B + VRC6), tweak the frames manually and then reimport. Now this isn't really necessary because there's 0CC-FamiTracker which supports it out of the box (in the same old module properties dialog, you can check the expansions you want). It's also nice because it adds a lot more useful features, including exporting multichip modules to NSF, which old FT can't do. Get it here if you wish to try it out: hertzdevil.info/programs/
when an NES cover of a SNES song has more channels than the SNES

I LOVE IT
Best music of its type not gonna lie
It's the 12-pieced "Overclock 8-bit Orchestra", ladies and gentlemen!
As long as it's not a duck orchestra it's all fine :)))
That's the Tsuko orchestra haha
Good job, man
Thanks a lot
this... this is beautiful.
Excellent, I'm glad you liked it so much.

@@BlazeWeednix welp, famitracker 5 never came out. but hey we have 0CC-Famitracker now so that's neat i guess
Wow holy crap!It's awesome.
I love this song. : )
Also, is it just me, or is this slightly slower than the original?

When you successfully commit tax fraud
Nice! However i don't recommend the Sunsoft 5B as it's very loud compared to most other expansion audio
All teh channels
Almost original. Nice.
how did you made that song with only *4 INSTRUMENTS!?!¡?!?*
edit: oh there are 5
Great track! I have a question, though, hoe do i make it multichip?
