As someone who has had multiple issues with different drugs from weed to percs to gear, weed is addictive but the difference is (now 1.5 year sober) I don't get weed cravings still. It was the hardest to quit but the none addictive side comes after time. However I do still get cravings for coke and percs. That's the very simple difference. I used to smoke weed to help with anger but now I've quit I see that I'd get angry over smaller things because I'd subconsciously end uo rewarding myself with another spliff, and it gets more and more until you become fully dependent. I couldn't go to work without smoking on the way in, on my lunch break, on my way home. Hell yeah I do miss the feeling n that but it's much easier to cope with when I go out to a skatepark and there 5 other man blazing up than when I have an event that I'd like to do a bit of sniff at. You can always change, it's never too late, just sometimes it takes a real wake up call or real effort.

E.g. controlling emotions so you dont become a slave to your anger tendencies. So not becoming reliant on such things, is where you can start to face these things head on and see genuine growth and progression without having to use crutches to feel good or enjoy yourself. Key is simple mental discipline and the perspective you can do everything well and cope fine without these things. And as you say some real effort involved - but everyone should want to better their life so really is a no brainer 👍

It was a mild inconvenience and I simply wanted a spliff for a few days and now I'm just more bored when I'm chilling out. Weed is addictive, but it's nothing really, there's hardly any "withdrawal symptoms" other than wanting a spliff a bit. And it's made zero difference to me or my life generally other than being a bit bored. It shouldn't even be illegal. If I drank alcohol as much as I smoked weed and stopped suddenly, my body could go into shock and die. I'm not telling people they should smoke weed but honestly, It's not serious or heavy. Ngl you can definately be addicted to weed mentally. But it doesn’t make a difference to your life. I just had a month off after smoking for 4 years every day cause I went to Maldives. But it made no difference to my life. I feel the exact same as I did when i smoked every day. I don’t even think about weed because it doesn’t make a difference to me. I was going to just stop when I came back, but now I think what’s the point 😂 I’d still rather smoke than drink at the end of the day. So when I come back I’ll smoke again, there’s no real reason not to. I don’t spend a lot on it, I smoke a Q a month which is what most people spend on a night out. So until I need to quit, there’s no reason to do so.

There is many medical reasons for mary jane, but most people aint using it for it. people become dependent and cope with depression by using it, I would know man I've been doing it for years
