This was literally me the first time I chat to this awesome women doing Ramadan. She was a screw when I was in my last prison and she was super chill and lovely. She technically broke her fast cos she was on first response and this nutty prisoner stripped and self harmed but she was on her period with no Tampax or pad and the period was everywhere mix with the self harm blood. The screw say the stench when she went in the cell made her vomit and cos liquid come out her body she had broken her Ramadan fast. Mental. Bless up to that amazing woman even tho she still a screw lol

I fasted once, during Lent many years ago. Mate.... hardest thing I ever did! It didn't help that I didn't get up early to eat before sunrise.. I also put on weight (unhealthy food options - I was a student and the chicken shop was my friend 🤣) Full respect to those that can do this twice a year for their God.
