- When flying into Lima, Perú you will land at the Jorge Chávez International Airport (LIM). Most likely you will have to get off the plane and onto a shuttle bus to get to the terminal. This was my second time flying to Lima in the past decade and both times were like this.

During peak times, they give priority to busier destinations(and bigger planes) like Miami, Atlanta, Bogota, Santiago, Madrid, Mexico City and Amsterdam. But since there's only 19 gates with jetbridges, even the other busy routes like Panama City or Buenos Aires will have to disembark on stairs.

@@TravelDolo Also, there’s a new much bigger terminal being built that will have 45+ jetbridges which will be ready by 2025.

Está en construcción un nuevo aeropuerto. Va ser más moderno y mejor y más bonito!!!
