Well done Kev. I was lucky enough to have spent some time with my Thai lady friend who lives in nearby lomSak district back in May of this year 2019. And she took me to see Pha Sorn Kaew in all it's glory while i was there. As you say "what an amazing place it is". And it is definitely worth the effort to see such a marvelous and intricate spectacle in such a breathtaking part of the country. If any of your many subscribers are thinking of traveling through this area then Pha Sorn Kaew is a "must see". I hope you are on the mend mate after you recent health problems and i look forward to many more of your informative videos in the near future. Keep the chin up son.
Hi Kev! we are a family of 5 going to Jomtien on Saturday for the 3 time, and watching your vloggs has given us so many more ideas of what to do during our stay. we cheer every time you put a new video out! just wanted to say thanks. the videos are so entertaining and you are FANTASTIC!
Great vlog Kev, Thailand is full of amazing places I guess that's why they call it amazing Thailand. All this and beautiful friendly women too, Paradise.
Top video Kev. I was only there 6 days ago , the temple and surrounds are amazing. Flew into Phitsanulok on 22nd July got driven through the mountains to Phetchabun where we stayed 2 nights then back to Phitsanulok for a night. So much to see around the area and a completely different world to Pattaya. It took me half a day to see a farang in Phetchabun and only when I was in the Big C.
Kev. That is one of, if not the best videos on the whole of youtube. The scenery is stunning and the temple complex is really awe inspiring. As you say one needs to get away from Pattaya to appreciate the real Thailand and there is so much more in an area the size of France. No jokes on this one. A great bit of film. Keep em comin.
love your videos and your sense of humour Kev, keep on with the good work, its so interesting to discover more about Thailand from someone on the ground
Wow that place looks so amazing Kev. Saw many temples here already, but that one is definitely on our visit list. Maybe end of the year when we will driving up from Phuket by car to Buriram for visiting Tiks Family during Happy New Year, its almost on our way. Thanks for showing, thumbs up from us. Greetings from Phuket
Hi Rene, Yes its between Phetchabun and Phitsanulok on highway 12 over the mountain i am sure you won't miss it Hahaha. And they still look like sheep to me mate i think Emily is right ? Hahaha
Fantastic vlog Kev and just love those views, a few years back I went to Ubon ratachani for a friends wedding and they have similar temples I also visited a Forest Buddhist temple. Looking forward to your next vlog Kev thank you mate.
looks to be a modern temple, but got it on the to do list now thanks to you, love love loved the vlog kev. and once again congrats glad you did not go down the zipwire, you may never have made it to show us this wonderful place x
Really scenic Kev....The money they pour into Temples and buddhas etc is staggering.. but in this case well worth it..."How's the serenity"... From Pattaya to Petchubun quite a contrast.... you will be blessing people when you get back...Tums UP mate - good job.
Hi Steven, Its amazing driving out there and makes me want to do it again, There was another i wanted to do but was so tired i was feeling sick but will go back for it, It was truly amazing there !
Thailand is a beautiful country, most people that I know who have been never get to see the other side of it.unbelievably talented people with a great culture and history, this is why I love Thailand so much,it's great that you can go and be crazy in pattaya but you can get away and see places like this, another quality film kev you just took me away for a few minutes there pal, loved it.
Smashing vlog Kev! Mesmerisingly beautiful scenery, as well as the Temples. Thank you for showing us :) We are having a heatwave at the moment 31degrees today lol!
Kev, another GREAT video. Would it be possible for you to have in the video at some point a map of Thailand with a dot showing where you are? Would be great to help when planning excursions. Keep up the great work Kev!
a lot of work gone into that place kev , one i would not have found my self ,thanks i will visit there one day ,another great vid keep them coming ,ATB les
Hi Kev. Could you do a blog on Koh larne island? Its got to be one of the cheapest but great days out in Pattaya! Only 40 baht for the half hour crossing and all those quiet and peaceful beaches away from all the noise and hustle of central Pattaya! Mind you, you have to hire a moped or bus to get around!
Hi Kev. Love your daily blogs. I am a Pattaya Lover and have been comming ( no pun intended ) 3 to 4 times every year for the last 10 years! I can't get enough of it! Anyway, we just got over the recession ( 47-48 baht to the £ ) now Brexit with only 45 - 46 baht to the £! Just when the Brits were starting to come back, now sadly I fear it will be at least 2 years before we come back again! Luckily, I have put 2 more trips spending money in my Thai bank account! good luck mate, and keep them blogging, you are doing a Sterling job. Bill Ruby.
Nice to see something different Kev. We went there in December, viewed many sights around Khao Kor with Wat Phra Sorn Kaew first port of call. truly stunning. have to day the mosaic temple is one of the most stunning I have seen in Thailand. even more so than Wat rong khun and Wat Phra Kaew. your video didn't quite do the mosaic temple justice. do you agree? the part with the white Buddha's is nice too though. keep up the good work mate
Hi Kev, really good place to visit, but if I am only in Bangkok for 4 nights, is it possible to get a day trip to visit the temple? Any suggestions on how to do and possible cost? I am thinking maybe I could hire a taxi for the day to take us - or is this possibly too far from Bangkok to do in a day?
Alright Kev. Great video again... love the content your provided. Tell me.. have you visited the 'grand palace' in bangkok? If so what did you think of it? Cheers Gary
Hey mate keep it up I watch your videos all the time you a good lad keep it like this don't change what ever stay real like you are now ,if you could do me a small fever and do a video about the hotels and what best location to stay in .thanks a lot mate
I have Adam, The best location in my view is Soi Lengkee off of Soi Baukhao The Opey De Place for cheaper Hotel or the Areca Lodge for more expensive which is across the road in Soi Diana the other side of Soi Baukhao check back on my vlogs !
Kev I'm just pulling ya plonker fella! Lol you keep me entertained regardless the content :) just nice to see the real beauty of Thailand. Thank you! Mean it buddy! Keep the great videos coming.
Impressive temple , visited one similar right in the north of the country, modern, set on a viewing platform . Couldn't help thinking it was there as much as a tourist attraction as a place of worship . Not a monk to be seen. Did you get same feeling with this one ? Worth a visit just the same . .
Hi Stephen, It was a great place and free to enter everywhere although the parking was 30 baht, I did not feel it was touristy in fact there were very few tourist's there mainly all Thai so was a nice feeling all round ! The apartment block i showed was the monks living quarters 5* at that !
Thanks . The one I visited didn't have anywhere for people to actually pray , which gave it the touristy vibe , this one looked similar . Looking forward to Korat video .
I think ive said it before Kev what a talented nation to build such a thing on top of a mountain, i wonder how long it took to build do you know? the floors were amazing also, great video Kev, ah well i have to go back to work !! keep living the dream mate well done great vlog.
Hi Tony, It was built for the Kings 60th Birthday, There is nothing i can find of how long it took to build but is the most revered Temple in Thailand and is also the number one dream destination in Thailand apparently !
Great video Kev, Both the temple and the surrounding scenery spectacular, thanks for all your efforts on this road trip - by the way what are petrol / diesel costs like in Thailand ? .. Baht per litre
bloody stunning kev what views so interesting I can see the attraction kev great vlog kev yes I can see what you mean about real Thailand have you gone there on your tod kev ? and hows the bhart doing rate wise pal ? wind noise aint to bad kev you can hear you clearly enough regards jamesey
Most beautiful temple in Thailand ( my opinion) I went last year but the viewing area on the white part wasn't open yet Please tell me you stopped in at wichian buri on the way back for the world famous chicken ? (Gai yang wichian) Now that's worth a vlog?? Keep up the good work kev
Great upload Kevin but you must do something about your pronunciation of Phetchabun and Phitsanulok, I lived in Phetchabun for a few months, the greatest part of Phetchabun is the people, I have never met happier people in my life, add to that you can walk off the street and get a DECENT hotel with a/c for 800 Baht per night and you are on to a winner, as I mentioned before great upload as it is only because of people like yourself that others get to know about these places.
If you want amazing scenery go North....so many places it would take years if you are not afraid to go off the tourist paths but towns nearby to use as a base.....I loved living up north with the easier language and lifestyle.....then the tourists came ...long time ago.
Good vlog again Kev. When you were 'Up North' did anybody recognise and stop ya? I suppose my question is are you a celebrity all over Thailand or just world famous in Pattaya?
can you show the money exchange rate every few days Like you did just after the brexit.. good to see what the Australian dollar is doing at the place I'll be going. cheers kev.
Well done Kev. I was lucky enough to have spent some time with my Thai lady friend who lives in nearby lomSak district back in May of this year 2019.
