Im lucky enough to be going to see The Blockheads in November ! I dont know if Wilko will be there, but I would be delighted if he were. I last saw him at the Half Moon, Lwr Richmond Rd, Putney in the late 80s. It was a great venue and am pleased to say that it is still is.
Wilko wasn't keen on the piano on the version of this he recorded with Dr Feelgood (though I like it). He said the piano player did 'some kind of disco thing on it', and referred to Tim Hinkley, the aforementioned pianist, as Him Tinkley. That's always made me laugh.
I'm surprised no-one's mentioned Norman Watt-Roy on bass!
The two together are electrifying ! Just raw, pure rock/blues at its very best from the top of the tree.
Wilco has recovered miraculously. I am glad.

'Norman Watt Roy on Bass'
Monti on drums is terrific..more impact on the songs than Dylan Howe.
yeah Dylan is cool but a bit too jazzy
@@sinisterbuthappy208 Agreed.
Agree Dylan is a good drummer, but wilko needs a power drummer 😂
Steve Monti!!!!
Any comments by our American cousins ?
I'm liking it. Wilko has a great draw. Sweet heart to boot.
