Yeah, you can shield with the fire ring on the back. Originaly I had in the review but cut in editing because of sound issues. It doesn't really do much on his back like the 200x or Origins Sy-klone rings do.
I have the Heads Of Eternia set. I'm getting an extra Sy-Klone for the Classics head. 22:17 That looks awesome!!! I can't wait! I have the neck-ball adapters I made so I can easily make any head fit on any figure. I made a video about them but I may need to make a new video showing how to make them in more detail. They are easy to make with silicone mold rubber & a soft/flexible resin.
That's awesome you have the head pack! I used or at least tried those heads on all the Relating Masterverse figures. They are a bit stiff but still look great on the figures. That adapter piece sounds interesting 🤔

Sy-klone is a very popular Vintage inspired figure going back to the original 80s collection. The Masterverse gave him a newer update and the design now.
Leech and Skeletor are just waaay too small...Villains should be intimating. Sy-Klone looks really good. They went hard on this release the box art even is above par. He looks like a spooky Djinn almost and I'm here for it.
Yeah Leech is definitely on the smaller side going back to the animation series. But he seems even shorter in the head or something. Aside from that, his design and details are really cool. I really like this Sy-klone design for Masterverse. The spooky Djinn you mentioned is a good comparison to this figure. Looking forward to this one! You might cover this (I'm only a little over halfway thru the video), but it seems like if you plug the energy effects into the shield & then plug the shield into his back, you basically get the red ring effect they included in the Origins & 200X design. I know some people wanted that red ring included with this one, so it's a nice way to achieve that effect with the Masterverse.

Great review! He’s a pretty good figure, a departure from what we’re used to but I appreciate Mattel giving us something different here. Not a must have right now but will definitely pick up later sometime.

23:46 Boiling water & a flathead screwdriver. Lift the edges of the helmet just enough to fit the pegs in. Shouldn't do any damage. It might only release a tiny bit of the glue holding the helmet to the face. But that won't be a problem.
Yeah, thanks for the info. I have pulled apart things like this before with hot water and a pry tool. I just mentioned that it is pegged and glued on and would need custom work to remove it. But I don't make suggestions because I don't want people damaging the figure if they are not confident in custom work.

I am curious if the rings from the origins sy-klone can be put under the shield on the back of the masterverse one i really like the neo samurai look from 200x and want to see it on the masterverse one more than the origins version. Thanks for watching as always! Yeah, I couldn't get the Ring off the 200x figure. It articulates, and I tried pulling it off before i filmed. But it wasn't coming off, and I didn't want to break it. I have a feeling it won't work anyway without some kind of custom setup.

Been waiting all day man.. 😍 Yeah he turned out great. Just wish he came with more effects. I actually really dig the face mask. Most of these new Eternia Figures are trying to make them look like the designs from the Power and Honor book. ( early concept) Wish it looked a little more like the sketch . I also wish certain accessories or other original design features were added to some of these New Eternia figures sometimes. Depending on the character. But im used to the changes and different directions they go to sometimes with this line. I guess nothing will beat the Origins and certainly the Classics with true vintage inspired designs. But I like what this series is trying with most figures. In hand, this Sy-klone looks really good 👍

Myself and other content creators usually get this stuff on eBay for a higher cost from sellers and toys buyers that get a few cases ahead of the distribution time from the factory and fly it into the USA. Most of the stuff travels by ship, which takes over a month and then sits in the warehouse before trucking distribution starts to retail.

I try to show what can or have available with certain parts or figures that make the most sense to try. I can't get everything. I also try to keep the videos as short as I can and still make it a review on that figure and not an hour hangout changing parts. It gets complex trying to balance that in a figure review. Man, I was sure you will get it as you were looking at it but then you moved on so I was yelling at the screen the entire time you were talking and toying with that red back piece from the Origins figure! 🤣 You should of tried plugging the shield to his back and then plug the flame effects into the shield so the longer ends are pointed up. I think Mattel added this to emulate that red circle piece, without making that giant red circle piece... 😂 Other than that, great review as always, I can't wait to get this guy. 🙂

@@hegga_nm No I try to cover everything! I film things in parts then edit the cuts together. It takes hours of setup, film, edit, parts swapping and re shooting to put my reviews together. A 20 plus minute review takes over 6 to 8 hours to put together. That shield on the back with the effects I showed was a last cut shot in my filming that I was gonna cut in order later. But as I mentioned there was a sound pop as I was talking about the effects on the shield paying homage to that Origins space ring I was trying to fit. I just cut it editing and didn't feel it was overly important because it dosent do much but sit there and dosent even show it on the box .I'll mention that in my Thunder Punch He-man review!
Another great review, I like this, But may not get it, Too many things I want right now, but I think this is the best version of the character so far, part of why I am tempted to grab the pre-order, But gonna go with one of the others first, after buying New Eternia TriKlops from a local store next week, after that ? Possible MV Leech. being a bit smaller doesn't bother me, it's great.

They are very unique but yet feel like old-school Motu character designs. That Masterverse Snout Spout is by far the coolest figure from Mattel Creations this year as far as New Eternia goes!👍

Once I collected the Classics, they went aside the few I mentioned. Now, with all the Origins and Masterverse in my collection on top of all the Classics. I have very little interest in that 200x line of figures.

This version of Sy-Klone is okay, certainly not terrible. I think it’s the face sculpt that brings it down a notch for me. You pointed it out perfectly, sort of has a more anime-style to it that I’m not really a fan of. I’m also a bit indifferent on the Storm Trooper-style mask. That 200X-inspired Classics head, however, looks really good on this figure! Everything else looks really good though, I like the energy effects on the arms. I agree that it should have included the ring like the Origins figure did, or at the very least made it possible to use that accessory on the Masterverse figure. The crack on his chest window is something that would really annoy me personally, I hate stuff like that, so that’s a shame. ~Damon

I kind of like what they did for this figure in Masterverse personally. I will always prefer the Classics and Origins version first. The cracks on the Rader suck. I have another figure in the package, and his chest Rader is fine! I wish they added that space ring like the Origins Sy-klone has. You can use the fire effects on the shield on his back to give him that inspired look. I cut that in editing. I show that correction in my New Eternia Thunder Punch He-man Review. Pretty cool figure. I really like the facial details vc and the mask. The fire effects are so dope, the way you can put them on the shield or the wrists. Fuckin sucks that yours came a little cracked. The classics head looked awesome on it!! At first, when I first saw him being announced, there was something off about him. He was a little scrawny. But after this review, it just fits. I like how they’re all different scales, masterverse is. Still prefer the origins one, though lol.

The lens radar is a decent size for this figure our of box. Yeah I heard someone else had the lens crack issue as well on thier figure. I actually have another have another Masterverse Sy-klone in card and the Lens is fine! I also will always love that Origins Sy-klone first 👌
That's awesome! Yeah, that 200x Classics heads works well on both figures. I only showed it on the Masterverse because that was the main figure I was focusing on with parts swapping and bringing the Origins in to mix parts with. Ah, man, that's the second review I saw with a cracked bubble! You can plug the fire effects into the shield and then plug it into his back to recreate the 200x ring, but I'm surprised he didn't come with any blue wind effects!
Yeah, I talked to someone else on Instagram who also had a cracked bubble. I have a second Masterverse Sy-klone in box, and the bubble lens is fine! In my opinion: the body sculpt, the colors and the armor is great but I really don’t like the face sculpt at all. The 2000X head that you swapped looked way better. Thanks for the review

I liked the overall design and head sculpt personnally for this New Eternia Sy-klone. It's different but yet iconic to his original design. That 200x head does look really good like many of the Classics heads do on certain Masterverse figures 👌

This figure recently appeared in stores where I live about 3 months ago. I was never a fan of this character. Apparently I am not the only one because this is one of the only He-Man figures that is sitting on the shelf all this time. After debating whether or not to buy him, I gave in last night and purchased him because it was the only thing available for months now and I really wanted a figure. Got him home, opened him up, I then put them back in the box and took him back for a refund this morning. I do not know why but I really despise every version of this figure. It was a nice looking figure but it did not look like it belonged in the He-man universe. Looked more like something from the Marvel Universe to me. My disdain for this character probably harks back to when I was 9 years old, I won a He-man figure from Nestle quick. After sending in the winning ticket the original Sy-Klone figure arrived in the mail a few months later. I was very disappointed because I was hoping for a cool figure like Trapjaw, He-Man, Tri-Clops or Manyfaces. The toy was only good for using its gimmick and its gimmick sucked.

The Masterverse Versions of the Popular core characters such as this Sy-Klone is hit or miss for many people who decide to pick them up. They have certain design styles that are reminisent of the core characters or Vintage figures but also very different. Some of the Masterverse figures have asthetics that are simular to the modern Marvel figures.

Those Drop Hip joints do raise him up a bit higher. But he still has a really small design and short neck, as you mentioned. Sy-klone does look really cool, and he is really tall👍
Oh yeah! The box art shows some other kinds of people flying around that look to be part of Sy-klones faction or soldiers. So that mask can turn him into one of those characters! Thanks for watching ✌️

As a 200X fan, I do agree it's a shame he didn't come with the same ring his Classics and Origins version has. That said, I do feel the shield with the effect pieces SORT of simulate how the ring looks.

Good figure but i don't like too much helmet and accessories. Even the radar is nothing special. I expected something more from this figure. Probably in hand it s better than in pics or video.

I got this today. Mine didn’t have any damage on the chest lens. I’ve never seen him before. He reminds me of shredder a little.

23:46 Boiling water & a flathead screwdriver. Lift the edges of the helmet just enough to fit the pegs in. Shouldn't do any damage. It might only release a tiny bit of the glue holding the helmet to the face. But that won't be a problem.
Yeah, thanks for the info. I have pulled apart things like this before with hot water and a pry tool. I just mentioned that it is pegged and glued on and would need custom work to remove it. But I don't make suggestions because I don't want people damaging the figure if they are not confident in custom work.

I am curious if the rings from the origins sy-klone can be put under the shield on the back of the masterverse one i really like the neo samurai look from 200x and want to see it on the masterverse one more than the origins version. Thanks for watching as always! Yeah, I couldn't get the Ring off the 200x figure. It articulates, and I tried pulling it off before i filmed. But it wasn't coming off, and I didn't want to break it. I have a feeling it won't work anyway without some kind of custom setup.
Just opened mine and I'm stunned at the beauty of it. The best look is with the energy effects on the shield, on his back, replicating the ring.

That energy shield with the fire effects is a really great addition now. It looks so cool on his arm or back. I'm glad that you do like the overall design of this Sy-klone, but you mentioned those other details that would have made him more interesting. I also wish certain accessories or other original design features were added to some of these New Eternia figures sometimes. Depending on the character. But im used to the changes and different directions they go to sometimes with this line. I guess nothing will beat the Origins and certainly the Classics with true vintage inspired designs. But I like what this series is trying with most figures. In hand, this Sy-klone looks really good 👍

Myself and other content creators usually get this stuff on eBay for a higher cost from sellers and toys buyers that get a few cases ahead of the distribution time from the factory and fly it into the USA. Most of the stuff travels by ship, which takes over a month and then sits in the warehouse before trucking distribution starts to retail.

I try to show what can or have available with certain parts or figures that make the most sense to try. I can't get everything. I also try to keep the videos as short as I can and still make it a review on that figure and not an hour hangout changing parts. It gets complex trying to balance that in a figure review. But I also appreciate hearing your feedback on that!👌
Man, I was sure you will get it as you were looking at it but then you moved on so I was yelling at the screen the entire time you were talking and toying with that red back piece from the Origins figure! 🤣 You should of tried plugging the shield to his back and then plug the flame effects into the shield so the longer ends are pointed up. I think Mattel added this to emulate that red circle piece, without making that giant red circle piece... 😂

@@hegga_nm No I try to cover everything! I film things in parts then edit the cuts together. It takes hours of setup, film, edit, parts swapping and re shooting to put my reviews together. A 20 plus minute review takes over 6 to 8 hours to put together. That shield on the back with the effects I showed was a last cut shot in my filming that I was gonna cut in order later. But as I mentioned there was a sound pop as I was talking about the effects on the shield paying homage to that Origins space ring I was trying to fit. I just cut it editing and didn't feel it was overly important because it dosent do much but sit there and dosent even show it on the box .I'll mention that in my Thunder Punch He-man review!
Another great review, I like this, But may not get it, Too many things I want right now, but I think this is the best version of the character so far, part of why I am tempted to grab the pre-order, But gonna go with one of the others first, after buying New Eternia TriKlops from a local store next week, after that ? Possible MV Leech. being a bit smaller doesn't bother me, it's great.

I do like the design a lot for this Masterverse Sy-klone figure. Leech also looks great even though he is smaller. The drop legs I discovered later dose make him a bit taller 👌

They are very unique but yet feel like old-school Motu character designs. That Masterverse Snout Spout is by far the coolest figure from Mattel Creations this year as far as New Eternia goes!👍

@dzsquad1965 I don't have any problem with Snout Spout! Mine is perfect.. I reviewed him. I don't remember mentioning too many issues. Yes, I have all four figures with wave 13. My next figure review will be New Eternia Thunder Punch He-man. I'll start working on that review tomorrow and hopefully have it up in a couple of days, bro👌
I also sold off my 200x collection but kept SyKlone and Roboto.
Thanks for watching and sharing that info and your 200x figures. Yeah, I still have Sy-klone, Mossman, Faker, and a few others from that 200x line. Once I collected the Classics, they went aside the few I mentioned. Now, with all the Origins and Masterverse in my collection on top of all the Classics. I have very little interest in that 200x line of figures.

This version of Sy-Klone is okay, certainly not terrible. I think it’s the face sculpt that brings it down a notch for me. You pointed it out perfectly, sort of has a more anime-style to it that I’m not really a fan of. I’m also a bit indifferent on the Storm Trooper-style mask. That 200X-inspired Classics head, however, looks really good on this figure! Everything else looks really good though, I like the energy effects on the arms. I agree that it should have included the ring like the Origins figure did, or at the very least made it possible to use that accessory on the Masterverse figure. The crack on his chest window is something that would really annoy me personally, I hate stuff like that, so that’s a shame.

I kind of like what they did for this figure in Masterverse personally. I will always prefer the Classics and Origins version first. The cracks on the Rader suck. I have another figure in the package, and his chest Rader is fine! I wish they added that space ring like the Origins Sy-klone has. You can use the fire effects on the shield on his back to give him that inspired look. I cut that in editing. I show that correction in my New Eternia Thunder Punch He-man Review. Pretty cool figure. I really like the facial details vc and the mask. The fire effects are so dope, the way you can put them on the shield or the wrists.

At first, when I first saw him being announced, there was something off about him. He was a little scrawny. But after this review, it just fits. I like how they’re all different scales, masterverse is.

The first effects and shield are awesome! You can always put that setup on his back to look something like the planet ring the origins figure has. I filmed that but cut it in editing because of issues with sound. It looks cool but dosent do anything like the Origins one dose. That's why I tried to adapt that origins backpack on the Masterverse Sy-klone back. The lens radar is a decent size for this figure our of box. Yeah I heard someone else had the lens crack issue as well on thier figure.
I actually have another have another Masterverse Sy-klone in card and the Lens is fine! I also will always love that Origins Sy-klone first 👌

That's awesome! Yeah, that 200x Classics heads works well on both figures. I only showed it on the Masterverse because that was the main figure I was focusing on with parts swapping and bringing the Origins in to mix parts with. Ah, man, that's the second review I saw with a cracked bubble!
You can plug the fire effects into the shield and then plug it into his back to recreate the 200x ring, but I'm surprised he didn't come with any blue wind effects!
Yeah, I talked to someone else on Instagram who also had a cracked bubble. I have a second Masterverse Sy-klone in box, and the bubble lens is fine! I originally had that shield with the fire effects filmed on his back. But I cut that in editing because of an issue.

In my opinion: the body sculpt, the colors and the armor is great but I really don’t like the face sculpt at all. The 2000X head that you swapped looked way better.

I liked the overall design and head sculpt personnally for this New Eternia Sy-klone. It's different but yet iconic to his original design. That 200x head does look really good like many of the Classics heads do on certain Masterverse figures 👌
Hopefully new eternia roboto is next with his 3 interchangeable arm parts!

This figure recently appeared in stores where I live about 3 months ago. I was never a fan of this character. Apparently I am not the only one because this is one of the only He-Man figures that is sitting on the shelf all this time.
After debating whether or not to buy him, I gave in last night and purchased him because it was the only thing available for months now and I really wanted a figure. Got him home, opened him up, I then put them back in the box and took him back for a refund this morning.
I do not know why but I really despise every version of this figure. It was a nice looking figure but it did not look like it belonged in the He-man universe. Looked more like something from the Marvel Universe to me.
My disdain for this character probably harks back to when I was 9 years old, I won a He-man figure from Nestle quick. After sending in the winning ticket the original Sy-Klone figure arrived in the mail a few months later. I was very disappointed because I was hoping for a cool figure like Trapjaw, He-Man, Tri-Clops or Manyfaces. The toy was only good for using its gimmick and its gimmick sucked.

Sorry to hear he was not what you were expecting when you got him in hand and out of the box. The Masterverse Versions of the Popular core characters such as this Sy-Klone is hit or miss for many people who decide to pick them up. They have certain design styles that are reminisent of the core characters or Vintage figures but also very different. Some of the Masterverse figures have asthetics that are simular to the modern Marvel figures.
Part of the fun of the original figure was the cool ring action feature.

Thanks for watching as always! I think these Masterverse Leech feet are actually taller than the flat Suction Cup style on the Classics and Origins Leech. Those Drop Hip joints do raise him up a bit higher. But he still has a really small design and short neck, as you mentioned. Sy-klone does look really cool, and he is really tall👍
With his mask on you can Army build this guy
Oh yeah! The box art shows some other kinds of people flying around that look to be part of Sy-klones faction or soldiers. So that mask can turn him into one of those characters! Thanks for watching ✌️

As a 200X fan, I do agree it's a shame he didn't come with the same ring his Classics and Origins version has. That said, I do feel the shield with the effect pieces SORT of simulate how the ring looks.

He never did have any samurai weapons since the vintage or classics. So it makes sense not to include those.

Good figure but i don't like too much helmet and accessories. Even the radar is nothing special. I expected something more from this figure. Probably in hand it s better than in pics or video.
