Rayman 1 Is a Frustrating Masterpiece

There's no doubt that Rayman is one of the pioneers of platforming in games. He represents a satisfying era where games were all about pushing the limits of primitive hardwares of the 90's, and the title that kicked off the original series did just that, and much more.
But in hindsight, did Rayman take things a bit too far with its overwhelming difficulty? And is this something that modern gaming can correct? Well...

Great video as always! I've never actually played a Rayman game, but have always wanted to play Rayman 1!
Now I know there's a fan remake/redux that I can choose to play, thanks!

Great take mark on Raymond 1 I had Earthworm Jim 2 on Genesis it was very frustrating I couldn't even pass level 3 also I have Raymond on Dreamcast and on GameCube thought they were great games I'm going to have to give Redemption a go I've always wondered what Raymond 1 was about👍

It is but its awesome. I used to own it on gameboy AV. im trying to find a original copy of ps1 version so I came replay it this winter!
