BOX BRAIDS MADE OF REAL GOLD?

- Have you ever seen Box Braids made with REAL GOLD?? Me either! These braids are braided with gold ribbon! You can use any color or type of ribbon that you want to give yourself a variety of looks with your braids. My box braids were braided individually and I did the box braid rubber band method for areas on my head with shorter
hair. These box plaits were super easy to do and I used regular black kanekalon braiding hair to achieve my braids. I did not count how many box braids I had on my head but when I always do my braids, I usually have between 80 to 120 box braids using 8 packs of kanekalon braiding hair. This is a very creative style you can achieve especially when doing box braids for beginners. I did a variety of box braid methods such as the double box braid method, crochet box braid method, 2 leg box braid method and rubber band box braid method.

The idea is cute, but I'm not sure about it being an all over thing. If I were trying this, I would do accent braids. The gold throughout each braid seems too much.

Thank you, the first method is the one I was taught. I'm gonna be 76 on 11/5 & have always used human hair to do my box braids. Well, imagine my surprise to find out that Kankelon is the only grey available.I love my greying hair( really want it to be white all over); but I don't like using Kankelon, can't treat it the same . The coloured twine that is normally wrapped around braiding hair. The coloured tubes are called filagree tubes. I didn't know that until recently I've attempted to buy some and couldn't figure out what the name was🤭
