Would love to see you try the Dana K White no mess declutter method. I hated seeing the overwhelm in your expression after dragging all that stuff downstairs, and I certainly wouldn’t have the courage to pull everything out 😮

I thought she looked excited overall! I personally enjoy taking everything out, but it's not for everyone or for every space.

Those big screw thingies are for moving your washing machine. To prevent the drum to move. Good luck with becoming a minimalist!❤

You do an outstanding job of decluttering and organizing your materials at your home Rebecca. It's just like I maintain doing my own chores at my crib.

Well done Rebecca! I‘m tackling our home day by day too at the moment to make room for our baby girl who’ll be arriving in about 3 months, so thank you for the motivation to face the tedious corners as well!

      Thank you! 💕
(Rewarding myself with shopping for cute baby clothes helps 😁 and they don’t take up much space because they’re tiny so… win win! 😉)

I was a little curious what “hidden clutter” meant.. but now I get it, it’s just things you choose to ignore or put off. My solve for no more hidden clutter is to get rid of the bins.. everything I own needs a “home” nothing can be stored away, (except for like, seasonal decor).

If you have pillows, blankets or sleepingbags you dont want anymore dont throw them away. Give them to your local homeless shelter. They'll appreciate it so much🙏

paper I would just combine and use an empty paper roll over the paper to keep it from unraveling.

Okay depending on your lifestyle and how are you function every day. I know myself I could not be a minimalist but I also know that I have 17 tote boxes for my entire apartment and have had the same amount for 23 years. I have baskets and bins for everything due to my balance issues, I can find everything within seconds and the kids are more independent. Am I OCD about it no but it is a safety hazard if it's in my way. I've been using the baskets and bins thing for the last 23 years and before that when I lived at my parents house because that's what works for me. I get a lot of flack for that but at the same time until you have my balance issues it's not necessary for people to whine about. And Canadian winters aren't exactly easy for me to get out in so I do have things like jigsaw puzzles but again they all have a place to go and I'm a dork and I read a lot so they have space in my book chair and on my bookshelf. I only buy books that I know I'll read again. And if one is given to me and I'm not interested in it I will give it to someone else that I know is. Point being here is you don't have to become a minimalist to have less stuff you just said to be mindful of what you're bringing in and if you have the space for it and if you will use it. I have my mother's Hutch with things from my childhood and part of my mother's wedding dishes do they get used every day no but it's something as of right now that I'm not willing to part and yes they have a spot to go otherwise I would not have taken them. I move every year a year and a half and my current place is about 450 sq ft. But I have lived in smaller. It's okay. A lot of my furniture too is also multi-functional my baskets, my bins, my 12 little wooden crates, my coffee table which lifts up and houses my jigsaw puzzles and there mat. I can all be converted into the space that I need them for. I've also never had to declutter once in 23 years. U-Pull-It Anne Hathaway with the fans.😂

To much stuff going back under the bed. U will not use it, why keeping?

If I knew you better I’d say I’m proud of you because I think that’s a really hard task and I might not be able to do it, especially in only half an hour.
Can I just say, though, that “dumping stuff on your sister” isn’t fair on her and it only transfers the burden of having to get rid of it from one person to the next?
    Thanks for considering this.
