OG Red tobacco has to be one of extremely few fragrances that has absolutely zero reformulation speculations regarding its strength. Holy moly its strong. Half a spray and youre set for the week.
Really? Compare magnetic cap with first formulations. Its obvious projection is way worse.

I have the EDP and the Intense Extrait and I find the EDP to be far superior. I was never bothered by the EDP's opening and I love how it projects for hours. The Intense definitely has a calmer opening, but it also sits way closer to the skin as most extraits tend to do. I don't mind having both but I'm glad I only bought the smaller bottle of the Intense.
Red tobacco is a wonderful scent and has been around a longtime , really want to get my hands on this intense version.

I have yet to smell Followed, Erba Pura, Akdeniz or even Megamare so my opinion may change but Red Tobacco is the strongest fragrance I have ever smelled. Excited to smell the intense at some point.
Of all the things for them to invest in. I got PDM Carlisle and I immediately recognized it as a more mellow RT scent. I wonder how similar those two are vs the intense and original.
Would you recommend to still pick up Carlisle if I already have Red Tobacco?
@WolfNRaven Carlisle have more nutmeg and Patchouli. Even Carlisle doesn't have tabbaco note but it's reminded me Red tabbaco. Side by side its Def not same.

Please review Tiziana Terenzi Arrakis. Some say it is the best version of this DNA. It's certainly the most expensive.
I have Red tabbaco and recently picked up PDM Carlisle 4.2 for $190. Im skip red tabbaco intense.
Once i went to snowmobiling and i put like least 10 sprays of Red tabbaco. It didn't last . I was surprised.
Carlisle reminded me red tabbaco but side by side they def not same. More nutmeg and Patchouli in Carlisle u smell.
I got Carlisle from fragrancelord.
10 sprays of RT would make all the snow outside melt

Weird direction for Mancera to go. It might have been a smarter idea to go the opposite way and make a lighter, fresher, more wearable version of Red Tobacco that could be worn in Spring or Summer.

I think the original Red Tobacco got reformulated and watered down, so it makes sense for them to release a stronger one.

Intense Red Tobacco being more grown up than the OG is wild. To my nose the normal one is already for the older fatherly crowd like myself. How much more grown up is that intense version?!
There are some older bachelors in their 30's that are still into partying after accumulating some wealth from work. The opening is louder and synthetic. That would be OG RT. Intense RT is the 40's and older man who's done with the crazy parties and moving on to more sophisticated social gatherings, already knows what he wants, etc. The opening is more mellow, smoother, and the dry-down has leather neck-and-neck with the tobacco. That would be my analogy.
I dont think this is more intense than the original at all. Same with Intense Cedrat Boise.

I wondered the same thing. I think that EDP was an inspiration note-wise. I personally hate the EDP. Without the tobacco it just smells like sweet cinnamon candy. I prefer the EDT. Hopefully the Mancera does not smell like Infrared EDP

I feel like any Mancera fragrance having the word Intense in it is basically redundant.

A flanker of their second most popular fragrance is not a mistake. It's called business.

Yes, the brand new batch has already been reformulated before it even came out and is not as strong and long lasting.
Bmoney is correct, 3 days after they released it they decided to reformulate it and re-release.

This smells.....like Fireball Jawbreakers.....rubbed in deep heat.....sprayed with Farenheit. Oddly nice though. It just smells like root beer perfumery.

Remember they copied carlisle but I don't think they smell alike and carlisle is way better
Carlisle doesn't have tobacco in it, so that's kind of a big difference.

@@miket8497 I live in a cooler climate area, can pull it off 6 or 7 months of the year. I wear it whenever I want to smell it, that's it. But, women at work love it, they are buying it for their husbands, they want to hang out in the bubble. I only spend like 15 minutes at a time in the office.
Every time I walk in there, they know. Lol.
